(Y/N): (whistling random song). Now where is it?

You were walking through the Alpha Kindergarten looking for the something when you found a gem who also seemed to be looking for something.

(Y/N): I don't believe we've met. Greetings, I'm (Y/N) from Intelligence.

????: I've heard about you. You're supposed to be dead.

(Y/N): Well people tend to play the death card too early. I can see you're a Peridot.

You pointed at the stone on her forehead.

Peridot: Are you stuck here as well?

(Y/N): Unfortunately yes.

As you finished the sentence you saw a spear falling towards you in the reflection of one of the injectors. You quickly spun around and scoped inwards with one of your knives.

(Y/N): Devouring Fang!

Your knife clashed with the spear and pushed the assailant back.

(Y/N): Run! I'll find you!

Peridot quickly flew away as you held off the attackers.

(Y/N): Back off! SERPENT'S INFERNAL RAPTURE!

You knocked them back far enough for you to use your chains as an escape. You narrowly avoided the barrage of spears that followed after you. You ran as far away as you could.

(Y/N): I hope Peridot got away safely.

(Three days later)

You were in an abandoned ship looking for something to contact Homeworld with when you found someone familiar.

(Y/N): Peridot. It's nice to see you're doing well.

Peridot: (Y/N), didn't think we were going to meet again.

(Y/N): I was hoping for a reunion. I do feel quite attached to you. I mean it's not every day I fight for someone other than myself.

As you said that there was a noise at the door.

(Y/N): Same ones?

Peridot: (aggrivated) Yes.

(Y/N): I'll stall them again. You know what to do.

She nodded and fled while you stayed behind to fight them.

(Y/N): Let's do this!

(Y/N): Flying Fangs!

You jumped forward with a green-trailed overhead kick and followed it up with another rising kick with the blade hidden in the shoe on the other foot. Then you created a snake chain and slammed the walking Afro through one of the walls. Leaving one human, whom you knew had Rose Quartz's gem. He ... wasn't too hard to beat. You walked over to him on the floor and stood over him with your hand on your hat. You took it off uncovering your spiky hair.

(Y/N): (sinister voice) Say hi to your mother for me.

You lifted your foot and brought it down towards his leg only for him to be pulled away at the last second causing your foot to smash into the floor, cracking it. You looked up to see two more gems baring their weapons.

(Y/N): Looks like I've overstayed my welcome.

You quickly left the same way you did the first time and found Peridot on a nearby cliff.

(Y/N): You waited for me?

Peridot: I've been thinking about what you said.

(Y/N): What? That I've grown attached to you?

Peridot: Yes. And I now realize that I have grown attached to you.

(Y/N): Is that you saying that you like me?

Peridot: Yes.

(Y/N): Awww, I love you too Peri.

You said before wrapping your arm around her waist. Her face grew a bright-green blush.

Peridot: Wha? No!

(Y/N): Your mouth says no but your face says yes.

Peridot: Fine. I do love you.

You chuckled and the two of you watched the sunset.
