You were playing Heritage of the Future and were about to finish the story mode of one of your favorite characters, Mariah. Then you finally did. You were surprised to see what she said.

Mariah: As a final note, I found you to be a real charmer. Not a bad game player if I do say so myself. The game was short, yet I could sense a high level of intelligence within you. You must also be experienced and decisive. And you have quite the cute face! Maybe we can even be lovers, hm? You know I think you might be a bit more charming than master DIO.

Then your system shut off.

(Y/N): Power surge? Alright I guess I'll go to bed since it's now (checks phone) 11:00! Yeah maybe it's the world telling me that I need to stop.

You got up and walked into your bedroom before snuggling under the warm bed covers. In the morning you got up and went through your morning routine. Eating breakfast, showering, and getting dressed.

????: A-hem

(Y/N): Wha-how-whe-. Who are you!?

????: You really don't know who I am?

You took a good look at the intruder and realized it was in fact Mariah.

(Y/N): How are you here? You're just a character from my game.

Mariah: Well, unlike all the other times, my words were sincere. And I'm not taking no for an answer.

(Y/N): ._. Okay. You want to do anything today?

Mariah: I thought you'd never ask.

Timeskip

She took you out shopping, and, of course, made you carry her bags. While you were out the two of you ran into one of your friends.

Torbin: Hello (Y/N).

(Y/N): (pompous British voice) Hello mister Crow. How are you doing this fine day?

Torbin: (copying (Y/N)'s voice) Quite fine, and you?

The two of you couldn't hold your laughter in anymore.

(Y/N): Doing great bud.

Torbin: Good to hear. Who's this?

(Y/N): Oh yeah. Where are my manners? Mariah, Torbin, Torbin this is my girlfriend Mariah.

Torbin: Good for you. (whispers) She's quite the looker.

Mariah slapped him.

Mariah: I don't appreciate comments like that from strangers.

Torbin: (rubs cheek) Okay I'm sorry. Jeez your hearing's better than a blind man's.

(Y/N): Okay. It was nice seeing you but I need to go before my arms fall off.

Torbin: Alright. You two have fun with each other.

You walked to the car and drove home. Stopping for lunch on the way.

(Y/N): That was, interesting to say the least. So you seem to be lacking in questions about the new era you're in.

She stared out the window, resting her head on her fist.

Mariah: Being in that game all those years. I watched the world grow and evolve nothing's really new to me.

(Y/N): That's kinda sad.

She continued to stare out the window.

Mariah: It is but now I'm free, and with someone who I truly have feelings for.

You blushed and smiled.

(Y/N): (whispers) I feel the same way.

You got home and she decided to use her stand to help you get all the bags into the house. After you finished you sat down on the couch. She sat next to you.

(Y/N): Mariah?

Mariah: Hm?

You hugged and kissed her.

(Y/N): I love you with all my heart and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.

Mariah: I would love that (Y/N).

You picked up your controller and started to play your game again with your new girlfriend next to you. You started to play Heritage of the Future with Hol Horse and had casual conversations with Mariah the whole time. Three minutes later you went to bed and snuggled against each other.

(Y/N): Good night Mariah. I love you.

Mariah: Good night (Y/N). I love you too.
