You were leaning on a wall having a casual conversation with your colleagues Double and Valentine. You were on very good terms with both of them. But Double acted weird around you,  namely hiding her face and fidgeting. You simply disregarded it. Honestly, you thought the nun was kinda cute. You heard the sound of claws on the floor and in walked Nadia Fortune.

(:A/N: In this you're the one who dismembered Nadia)

(Y/N): Looks like the cat's come crawling out of the river. Allow me to fix that.

You lashed your arm at the ceiling and grabbed a slab of stone before slamming it down on top of her.

(Y/N): And that's the end of that.

Valentine had a shocked look on her face as you swept out the neko's body parts. You didn't notice but Double's eyes were open... they were pure red.

Dramatic timeskip

The next day you were standing against the same wall and talking to Valentine.

Valentine: Have you ever noticed the way Double acts around you?

(Y/N): Okay one how did we go from knives to Double? Two yes I have.

Valentine: You don't find it odd?

(Y/N): No why?

Valentine: She doesn't act that way around anyone else, only you.

(Y/N): Do you have any idea why that is?

Valentine: Maybe she likes you.

(Y/N): (scoffs) That's ridiculous. Speaking of whom.

Double walked in and stood next to you.

Double: Greetings (Y/N).

(Y/N): Good Morning Double I hope you had a better evening than me. That crazy cat came back.

Double stops and thinks for a moment.

Double: I did (I probably shouldn't say anything about that pillow I have of him.)

(Y/N): Good to hear.

Double: (He's just so cute. Cute enough to forgive him for what he did to me in those previous stories.)

The three of you stood there in silence. Until Double leaned against you and fell asleep hugging your arm. You smiled at how cute she looked and found yourself falling asleep.

Timeskip

When you woke up you were sitting up against the wall, and found Double on top of you and snuggling against your chest. There was nothing going on so you decided to stay there as you hugged her. That didn't last very long because Nadia came back.

(Y/N): Why do you keep coming back? What are you a masochist?

Nadia: I'm DETERMINED to steal the skullheart.

(Y/N): I'll give you points for honesty.

You got up, slowly wiggled out of Double's grasp, and wrapped your coat around her.

(Y/N): I-ka-zo.

The rest was a blur. You were on the floor and you remember seeing Nadia being attacked by some gelatinous creature, and the same creature wearing your coat. Then the thing was standing(?) over you. Then you blacked out. When you woke up the first person you saw was Double.

(Y/N): Did anyone get the number of that truck that hit me?

Double: Well some random guy wearing a red baseball cap came in yelled "Buster Wolf" punched you hard enough to render you unconscious, then left.

After the short exposition someone arrived. Someone different from Nadia. It was the woman that broke your heart, Eliza. The beauty had captured your heart, filled your head with sweet lies, and when she got bored of you she threw you aside like a used tissue. Or more accurately she had Albus do that. Seeing her again made your blood boil. You felt a primal rage build inside you, and then...

Before anyone could say anything else you ran towards Eliza grabbed her by the face and repeatedly smashed her into the floor until you launched her into the air with an explosive headbutt and finished it with a powerful punch to the stomach.

Valentine: Wow that was pretty brutal. Even by MY standards.

You felt something squishy and warm wrap around your arm. When you looked at it you saw the same gelatinous creature that had attacked Nadia.

Valentine: Looks like she finally came out of her shell and showed you what she usually looks like.

Double: (Contented gurgle)

(Y/N): Double. I don't care what you look like. As long as the you I've come to love is who you really are.

Double: (blushes)

You gave Double a soft hug as you kissed her on the lips(?).
