Make A Choice

You freeze in the darkness unsure of what to do.

Footsteps sound and the light flickers and you can make out the face of the man from the bus. Behind him is Kayla, Chris and Matt.

Kayla's eyes shine bright purple. Both boys look indifferent while the man next to you seems to shine with excitement. Scales are slightly visible on his arms.

"Give me the book," Kayla says firmly.

You say nothing and your eyes falls to the book which sits open in your lap.

"Don't give a choice. Take it. We're running out of time," A twin says.

"You know it doesn't work that way Matt," Charlie says.

Matt rolls his eyes and pulls out a gun pointing it in your face. "Give us the book."

"Why?" You demand trying to buy yourself time. "What do you want with it?"

"No time for questions," the man from the bus says. "Either give it up or we can kill you."

You open your mouth beige closing it once more.

"Do it," Charlie says not even looking at his brother. Matt nods and he looks you in the eye. Daring for you to say something. You say nothing as you hear the click of the gun.

You don't feel the pain.

Red suddenly light swirls around you as everything around you seems to have frozen in time.

You look down to see your hands are now placed on the book. The red light pouring from it. It then flips open to a page.

And words appear:

Choice 1: My World

Or

Choice 2: Your World

Make Your Decision

You blink and quickly make your decision. You shout your answer as loud as you can.

Pages in the book flip on their own as red light swirls around you. Things darken and seems to spin before...

Choice 1: My World

You blink open your eyes with a groan. To find three pairs of eyes staring down at you.

Choice 2: Your World

The bullet lands in ceiling and a figure stands a sword to Matt's neck and smile on their face.
