Yet Harper continued down the street, weaving past the similarly grey buildings. Until at last the grey house that towered over her, belonged to her. She fumbled in her pocket until she felt her fingers grasp the key. She raised a shaking hand and slotted the key into its place on the door, locking it firmly behind her. 

Harper charged up the stairs and tore open her file. She knew that this was no time to hesitate, but she felt a little apprehensive to what she might find. 

The papers felt crisp in her hands and she held them with delicacy. Her eyes darted to the text, it held all of the standard information one might expect, but not the information she was looking for. She searched until her eyes found:

Test conducted.

Known part robot.

She felt an emotion that was not quite shock, perhaps she had suspected all along but had not wanted to accept it until she was sure. But it did not stop her breaths becoming shallow and her heart racing. She sat down, legs shaking.
