Ashley's POV

It's one of those usual nights where I once again had to sit backstage whilst watching everyone else entertain the crowds. I honestly dislike having a concussion. I just had to rent one of the smallest cars didn't I? And if you didn't catch onto that, I hit my head pretty hard whilst I was trying to get into the car. It was that hard of a hit, I ended up with a concussion.

My focus was on the TV monitor that was showing the current match. Kalisto vs Dolph Ziggler. It was a friendly match, no one seemed to be getting hurt. I couldn't take my eyes off of Kalisto though. I mean, the way he moves in the ring, how athletic he is and the moves that OK not even think others could pull off are simply amazing. I watch as Kalisto sets Dolph up for his finisher 'Salida del Sol' and he hits it perfectly. I smiled widely as he got the win, clapping a little bit and did the usual 'Lucha' dance that he and Sin Cara do.

"Hey Ash, maybe you should go congratulate Kalisto on his win." I look over to my right and give a look to one of my best friends, Paige.

"Yeah, I agree with Caspar over here." Said Xavier. My other best friend. With a roll of my eyes, I shake my head at the pair and let out a small laugh. I see Paige playfully hit Xavier on his arm, which had backfired on her. She clutched her hand close to her chest and let out a small cry of pain as Xavier and I -well mostly Xavier- laugh at her. That is why you don't punch someone who has really muscular arms.

"You okay Paige?" I ask as I place a hand on her shoulder, trying to stifle my laughter a little. Paige looks at me and raises her eyebrows.

"Oh yeah, I'm a-okay. My hand doesn't hurt at all." The sarcasm was certainly clear in her voice. I raise my hands in surrender as Xavier keeps laughing at her. Probably not a good idea as Paige lifted her foot and kicked him where no man should ever be kicked. Xavier let out a cry of pain as he clutched onto his manhood.

I quickly stood up from my chair, trying to get out of there as quick as I could. Those two I swear are just way to violent. I decided that since I was up that I would actually go and see Kalisto. I've always loved watching him in the ring. The way he moves, how he has so much energy and knows how to entertain the crowd.

I walked past the gorilla and saw a masked man wearing dark blue clothing. Don't chicken out Ashley. Just go up to him and congratulate him on his win. Can't be that hard.

I walk up to him with a small smile on my face, trying my best to put on a good impression. Just hopefully I don't embarrass myself.

"Hey Kalisto! Congrats on your win. You were great out there." So far so good.

Kalisto turned around, a wide smile on his face. That adorable smile could make anyone weak in the knees.

I notice him rubbing the back of his neck. Was he nervous? Why would he be nervous?

"Uh, thanks Ashley. I thought you didn't have a match tonight."

"I don't. Just thought I'd come here to be around friends. Beats sitting in the hotel room alone." We both let out small laughs. Okay, so far so good Ash. Self five! Maybe just in your head...

"So uh, this might be a complete random question but are you and Baron dating?" I look at Kalisto and shake my head no.

"No, we're not." I respond politely, my head tilted to the side a little. A nervous chuckle comes from Kalisto as he once again rubs the back of his neck.

He removes his focus from his feet and turns it to me. He looked into my eyes for a split second before turning his gaze elsewhere.

"Why would you think that?" I know it's probably a stupid question to ask, but it's always best to know.

Baron and I had been hanging out together a lot lately. We are not dating! It's just two friends hanging out and enjoying each other's company. Well, that's what I think it is anyway.

"It's just that, well, you two have been hanging around each other a lot lately. You know, doing coupley stuff." He shrugs his shoulders, moving his hands up to his mask and fixes it up.

I couldn't help but to let out a small chuckle. Kalisto is actually cute when he's nervous. And jealous. At least I'm assuming that he's jealous. Even if he was, he has no reason to be. "Well, I can assure you that Baron and I are most certainly not dating. We're just really good friends." I said with a friendly smile.

I looked to see Kailsto smiling again, this time his smile caused small butterflies to go crazy in the pit of my stomach. "Umm, well since that's out of the way, if your not doing anything after the show I thought maybe, I don't know, maybe we could go get some frozen yogurt or something?" Wait...hang on...did-did Kalisto just ask me out?

Hurry up and say something Ashley! "Yeah, sure, I'd love to!" I say, a genuine smile forming on my lips.

"Great! I'll just go get changed and then we can go!" Kalisto says, quickly giving me a hug as he rushes off to his locker room. I let out a small chuckle as I watch him rushing off. He's always so full of energy, even after a match.

I turn back around to the direction of catering to see Paige and Xavier staring at each other. Must be another of one of their ridiculous stare offs. Spoiler alert: Paige won.

"Oh yeah! Beat that Creed! I am the queen of staring!" Paige yelled, getting right in Xavier's face. She did not just say that.

I noticed everyone that was sitting in catering stop what they were doing and looked at her, soon cracking up laughing. Paige stopped her little happy dance and sat back down and looked around the room and from where I was standing, I could see a small blush appearing on her face. Though she soon laughed it off and surprisingly so did Xavier.

I walked into the room with a wide smile on my face. I could've sworn I skipped a little. "Hey guys!" I chirped as I took a seat next to Paige.

"Well, someone's happy. What happened?" Paige raised her eyebrows, letting out a small chuckle.

"I listened to what you guys said and went and talked to Kalisto." The smile that was on my face would not go away. Which is a good thing, obviously.

"And?" Paige asked, eager to know what happened.

"Well, let's just say that we're going out to get frozen yogurt." As soon as I finished my sentence, Paige jumped out of her chair and engulfed me in a massive hug. I think she's more excited than me.

Paige eventually let go of me, a wide smile plastered on her face. My gaze soon turns to Xavier who's focus was on his phone. He soon shot out of his chair and ran towards the corner of the room.

I furrow my eyebrows and pint over towards him, about to ask Paige what that was about. "Don't even ask. You need to get out of her and find Kalisto woman." I smile and give her a hug, soon getting out of my chair and went to find Kalisto. I'll go to his locker room, he should hopefully be there.

Once I had reached Kailsto's locker room, I went to knock on the door but it opened, revealing a freshly cleaned masked luchador.

"Hey Ash." Kalisto said, a wide smile on his face. "You ready to go?" I nodded my head, a smile that matched his as we both started walking towards the parking lot. As we walked, we made some random small talk, talking about our night, his match and how Xavier is just so caught up in Pokemon Go!. I seriously worry about that man sometimes, in a good way. If there's such a thing.

Kalisto and I got inside his rental, a small bit of silence filled the small space. Though it was a comfortable silence, which I was thankful for.

The frozen yogurt place soon comes into view, causing a wide smile to appear on my face. Man, I've been looking forward to this ever since Kalisto suggested this.

"And...we are here!" Kalisto said, a smile clear on his face.

"Thanks to you, I've been craving frozen yogurt." I let out a small laugh as I look at him, smiling wide. He lets out a small laugh as we both soon get out of the car.

Realization hit me. I don't have my purse.

"Oh shoot! I forgot my purse!" I throw my head back in frustration, stomping my foot down on the ground a little.

"It's alright Ash, I'll pay for you." My eyes instantly widen as I look back at him.

"Are you sure?" He nods his head and smiles. He walks over to me and places a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm sure Ash." I couldn't help but to look into his deep, brown eyes. They're just so mesmerizing I just couldn't help myself. I smile softly at him as we both soon start walking towards the entrance of the frozen yogurt place.

Once we had gotten inside, we both went and made our frozen yogurt -mine had almost everything topping they had there- and went up to the counter where Kailsto paid for them. I still feel really bad about that though. I'll have to pay him back once we get back to the hotel. We both went and found a cute little booth by a window. Even though it's dark out, the scenery still looks beautiful. The stars are really shining bright tonight.

~~~~~~~~~
After a numerous amounts of small talk and laughs, we both finished our yogurt and decided to head back to the hotel. Ah, finally, I'll be able to sleep and possibly watch good movies.
We got out of the car and I watched as Kalisto got out his things from the trunk. He closes the door and looks over at me with a wide smile. Why is her so perfect? I started walking along side him, both of us making another small amount of small talk. Though, our conversation was cut short when Baron stood right in front of us.
"So this is where you were. Hanging out with this mask wearing leprechaun." Baron said, a hint of jealousy in his voice. Okay, now that was rude. And who the heck says 'mask wearing leprechaun?' That didn't even make sense.
"Baron! That's not a nice thing-"
"Let's get something straight. You, need to stay away from her. Alright?" Baron's voice got louder and louder with each word that spilt from his mouth. Did he seriously just cut me off?
"Why don't you pick on somebody your own size Baron." I say, a little bit quietly and not expecting Baron to hear it.
"Shut up Ashley. Stay out of this." Baron yelled, venom shooting through his voice. And to think that I thought of him as a friend.
"No, Baron. You really need to go. You do not treat someone like that. Leave us alone, or there will me consequences." Kalisto said, getting a little bit in Baron's face. Or well, chest cause you know... he's short, like me.
I grabbed Kailsto's hand and dragged us away from Baron. I really didn't want to witness a fight, especially it was over me. Kind of. I walked fast to my hotel room, my hand still holding Kalisto's. We got to my room door, stopping and catching our breaths. We walked really fast.
"You alright Ash?" I looked up at Kalisto, a small smile on my face. I look down at our hands, only just noticing that we were still holding hands. I smiled more as i entwined our fingers together and looked into his eyes.
"I'm alright. Are you alright though? I mean, where did that burst of confidence come from?" I let out a small chuckle, shaking my head a little.
Kalisto shrugs his shoulders and chuckles. "I guess when you like someone a lot, you gotta make sure that they have someone by their side." Wait, did he just admit that he liked me? I could feel my cheeks heat up a little as I watched him slowly moving closer to me. I did the same thing, causing our lips to touch a little. Kalisto soon pushed his lips gently onto mine. His lips feeling soft against mine. I closed my eyes and kissed him back, my hands soon moving to his shoulders as his moved to around my waist, bringing me closer to him.
Small cheers roared through the hallway, causing us to pull away from each other. We looked to where the noise was coming from only to see Xavier and Paige standing by their door. They looked at his and held up their thumbs, wide smiles on their faces.
"Get in there Kalisto!" Xavier yelled, sending Kalisto a wink.
"Make sure to use protection!" Paige smirked.
We both blushed and shook our heads at our friends antics. I got out the key to the room, politely asking if Kailsto wanted to come in. He agreed and walked into the room. I walked in after him and closed the door.
We walked over to the couch as I grabbed the remote to the TV and turned it on. Channel surfing to see if there were any good movies on. I sat next to Kalisto and laid my head on his shoulder, his arm wrapped around my shoulders and pulling me closer towards him. Instantly feeling like home.
If this were to happen everyday with Kailsto, I don't think I'd ever want to leave him.
