King of My World [Chris Jericho + OC] {REQUESTED}
This was requested by slytherin_queen12. :) It has more wrestling than your other request, so that's cool. And I didn't know very much about the Invasion storyline, so I really hope this is okay!
Anyway, this takes place in 2001, for those of you who didn't request this one-shot.
Enjoy! :)

King of My World - Saliva
"Are you sure about this?"
"Of course I'm sure," I replied, frowning. I looked at both the McMahons, who seemed disappointed in my answer. "My place is with Team WWF. I'm not looking to change that."
I turned around and walked away. The camera stayed on Shane and Stephanie.
"She belongs on Team Alliance," Shane said.
"We'll just have to show her what happens when she doesn't do what we want," Stephanie said, smirking.
The siblings began talking softly, and the segment ended.
I rolled my eyes, walking away from those two. I had a feeling I knew what they were planning, but I guess I'd just have to wait for my match later tonight.
Survivor Series was in two weeks, and Stephanie and Shane were still trying to convince me to join Team Alliance. Sure, I started out with WCW, but I'm with the WWF now, and no amount of convincing is going to make me join their team.
I found the rest of my team, Team WWF – Kane, The Undertaker, The Rock, and Chris Jericho – along with my best friend, Trish Stratus. They knew I had a meeting with Steph and Shane, so they had been waiting for me to return.
"What happened?" Trish asked, frowning.
I rolled my eyes. "They still want me to join their team."
"And...?"
"And I didn't," I replied. "Come on, guys. I'm already on this team. I'm not going anywhere."
They looked behind me, sour looks on their faces. I turned around, and Stephanie had approached us.
"By the way, Kerry," She said, giving me a fake smile. "You have a match tonight." She paused and looked at everyone behind me. "And no one is allowed ringside."
I was about to protest, but she just smirked and walked away.
"What the hell?!" Trish exclaimed.
"I'll be fine," I assured her. I looked at my team. "Just stay back here. I've got this."
I began walking away. Knowing Stephanie, my match was next. As I walked, though, I heard footsteps. I stopped and turned around. Chris was following me.
"What are you doing?" I asked. "You can't be ringside."
"I'm not going out there," He replied. "I'm just going to stay backstage. I'll be at Gorilla, just in case one of them tries something."
I smiled. "Thanks." I was about to keep walking, but I didn't. "Walk next to me, though. It's weird when you follow me."
He chuckled, but we walked side by side to Gorilla. He had grabbed my hand at some point, and when my music hit, he squeezed it before I walked out.
I stood in the ring, facing the ramp. When no one came out, I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow. Then, music hit.
"And her opponent, from Forest Lake, Minnesota: Mighty Molly!"
Molly came out, but stopped before she got to the ring.
More music played.
"And from Seattle, Washington: Ivory!"
Ivory came out, stood next to Molly, and stared me down. When even more music played, they both turned around.
"And from New Orleans, Louisiana: Jazz!"
Ivory and Molly got in the ring, so I assumed Jazz was the last person.
Of course they'd put me in a handicap match. The McMahons always got what they want, but this time, they had another thing coming.
Once Jazz got in the ring, the bell rang. The three women all came at me at once, each of them hitting me. Someone even got a kick in.
I managed to escape the circle they had formed around me, grabbing onto the top rope for support. I didn't get to catch my breath, though, because Molly came running at me. I slid down, still holding onto the rope, and Molly flew out of the ring. She hit the ground, so I turned to look at Ivory and Jazz, who had begun talking to each other.
I ran at them and hit Jazz with a clothesline. As she hit the floor, Ivory was shocked. I grabbed Jazz by the hair and pulled her up. Ivory began running toward me, so I quickly pushed Jazz in her path, and she hit her own teammate.
Jazz rolled out of the ring, and with her out, it was down to just me and Ivory. She had a smirk on her face, so I ran and attempted a clothesline. She ducked out of the way, and when I turned around, she picked me up, preparing for a Samoan drop.
I managed to get out of it, landing on my feet. I grabbed her arm, Irish whipping her into a corner. I ran and hit her with my knee.
I looked outside the ring, and once I saw that Molly and Jazz weren't going anywhere, I pinned Ivory.
"1...2...3!"
"The winner of this match: Kerry!"
My theme began playing and I stood up. The ref raised my hand in the air. Suddenly, my music stopped and new music began playing. I brought my hand down to my side, frowning, as Shane and Stephanie came out. They stopped on the ramp, refusing to come any further. Ivory, Jazz, and Molly had begun walking away from the ring.
"Kerry," Stephanie said, the fakest smile I've ever seen on her face. "You just beat three of the toughest Divas from WCW. By joining our team, you would be the most powerful Diva on Team Alliance. Please think about it."
"I have thought about it, Steph," I said. "And, frankly, I think you should just shut the hell up." The crowd cheered. "You should go back to WCW and make sure that your team is ready, because at Survivor Series, Team WWF is going to kick their asses."
I dropped the microphone. Stephanie and Shane looked at each other, shocked. Instead of saying something, they just walked backstage. I bent down to pick up the microphone, then handed it to the guy who gave it to me.
The crowd began booing. I frowned and turned around.
Steve Austin, Rob Van Dam, Kurt Angle, and Booker T – better known as Team Alliance – were walking out. They surrounded the ring, and I couldn't go anywhere. They each hopped up on the apron, so that I was unable to escape.
I stood in the middle of the ring, so I wasn't closer to one than the others. When the crowd began cheering, I looked over and saw Chris running out. He grabbed Kurt's leg and pulled him off the apron. They began battling outside the ring, and soon the rest of Team WWF came running out.
Eventually, the members of Team Alliance were sprawled in and out of the ring. I slid out of the ring, and my team and I began walking up the ramp.
"See you boys at Survivor Series," I said, smirking.
We made it backstage.
"Good thing Chris was watching the match," Dwayne pointed out.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"He was the only one watching it," He explained. "And when Team Alliance went out there, he just stood up and left. We were all confused, but once we looked at the screen and figured out what was going on, we went out there, too."
I stopped walking to look at Chris, who was behind us. He must've stopped when we started talking about him. I approached him.
"You came to save me?" I asked, smirking.
"Well, you're on the team," He explained. "We need you."
"Really?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh my god! Just kiss her already!" Dwayne exclaimed. They had stopped and were now watching us.
I laughed. "You gonna kiss me or what, Jericho?"
When he finally kissed me, they began cheering. I began laughing, so we had to stop. I turned to look at them.
"Do you mind?" I asked. "We're kind of in the middle of something." Chris chuckled.
"All right," Dwayne said. "We'll leave. Just don't get too freaky."
I rolled my eyes as they walked away.
I looked at Chris. "They're idiots."
---
"I'll open your eyes and make you see, I'm the king of my world. I'll break down the walls around you now, I'm the king of my world."
