Disenchanted [Seth Rollins + Paige]

Disenchanted – My Chemical Romance

Colby was on the hotel's elevator, confused, but also a little angry.

The day before, he and Saraya had agreed to eat lunch together the next day (today). She had promised to text him a time that worked for her, but she never replied. Now, he was on his way to her hotel room, to figure out what was going on.

The elevator stopped on her floor, and the doors whished open. He was immediately greeted by music, coming from a room down the hallway. It was a really loud song (not that he was complaining; Colby lived for really loud songs), and he couldn't put his finger on what it was. It sounded vaguely familiar, like he should know it.

As he walked down the hallway, Colby knew the music was coming from Saraya's room. She must have gotten a lot of complaints, but either she didn't care, or she chose to ignore them. Once he reached her room, there was a pause in the music, and a slightly softer and slower song began playing.

Colby knocked on the door. He felt silly when he did, though. He heard her music from the other end of the hallway; what were the chances she'd hear him knocking?

She apparently heard him, though, because the door opened, and a makeup-less Saraya stood in front of him. The music got louder with the open door.

"I hate the ending myself, but it started with an all right scene."

Saraya was wearing a black crop top and some sweatpants. Her hair was in a bun. She obviously didn't plan on leaving her room, which probably wasn't such a good idea, since they had to film SmackDown that night.

Colby said something, but Saraya couldn't hear him. She let him inside, then walked over to her phone, turning down her music, but not completely muting it.

"What?" She asked, looking at him.

"You were supposed to text me," He repeated. He no longer looked angry, but concerned.

"Oh."

"Is everything okay?" He asked.

"Do you know what today is?"

"No..." He was confused.

"It's March twenty-second," She told him. "On this day, three years ago, my heart broke."

Suddenly, Colby realized what song she was listening to.

"You're just a sad song, with nothing to say about a lifelong wait for a hospital stay."

"When I agreed to eat lunch with you, I didn't realize what today was," Saraya continued. "I can't possibly go out and do something, knowing that they'll never make music together again."

"So you're just going to stay holed up in your hotel room, listening to My Chemical Romance all day?" Colby asked.

"Yes."

"Raya, you can't do that," He told her, and she frowned. "You have to be at the SmackDown taping tonight. Don't you have a match?"

"Yeah..."

"Now will it matter, long after I'm gone? Because you never learned a goddamned thing."

"Okay, so you need to take a shower and get dressed," He said. "You can bring the music in the bathroom with you. Just...get ready, okay?"

"Fine..." She said, grabbing her phone and walking toward the bathroom.

"I'm going to find a way to cheer you up," He said. Saraya just made a grunting sound as she walked back into the room, grabbing some clothes.

Once she was back in the bathroom, the door shut and the water running, Colby began thinking.

At first, he wasn't sure what would cheer her up. He knew how much she loved My Chemical Romance, and how much they meant to her, but there had to be some way to make her feel better.

Then, he figured it out.

Saraya was finishing straightening her hair. A couple of songs had passed since she had started her shower, and she was now listening to I'm Not Okay (I Promise).

She had been so fixated on the date being March 22, that she'd completely forgotten that it was Tuesday, and she had a match on SmackDown against Brie Bella.

Once she was finished, she had to admit that she felt a little better. She was still sad, but at least she looked good.

Saraya picked up her phone, opened the door, and walked out of the bathroom. Colby was gone, which surprised her. She'd assumed that he'd stay, to make sure she left the room to head to the arena.

She set her phone on the table next to her bed, just as the song switched to Bulletproof Heart. She was about to sit down, but there was a knock at the door. The music continued playing as she opened it.

It was Colby. He had a plastic bag in his hand.

"I figured since you weren't leaving your room," He explained, holding up the bag. "I'd just bring our lunch here."

Saraya grinned, letting him into the room. When she shut the door and turned around, Colby was already pulling food out of the bag. He had gotten Chinese.

The smell of Mandarin chicken and fried rice filled the room, so Saraya quickly walked over and grabbed her lunch.

The room was quiet, save for Saraya's music. When they were both nearing the end of their meal, Saraya spoke up.

"While I will be eternally grateful for this Chinese food," She said, smiling a little. "I'm still sad. Not as sad as before, though, so you didn't fail completely."

"It's a good thing I'm not done yet," He responded, smirking.

Saraya glanced at the clock, confused. "We have to be at the arena in an hour. What else could you possibly do?"

"It'll only take a minute."

"Well, what is it?"

Colby took a deep breath, as if he was readying himself for something. Saraya watched him, trying to figure out what he was about to do, but nothing came to her.

"Before I say anything, I want you to know that you can totally say no," Colby said. "No hard feelings."

"What are you going on about?" She asked. "Just – "

"Do you want to go to dinner? With me?" He interrupted, his words coming out faster than he intended. "After the show, maybe? I mean, if – "

"Colby," She interrupted. He stopped talking, looking at the Brit. She smiled. "I'd love to."

"Great. Awesome."

It was obvious he was still nervous, so Saraya spoke again.

"I'll even do this," She said, grabbing her phone and pausing her music. "You succeeded, Colby. I'm no longer sad. Everything is fine now."

It seemed like he had gotten over his nerves, because he had a smile on his face, too.

"Well, uh..." He trailed off. "I guess we should get to the arena."

"Well, come on!" Saraya exclaimed, standing up. "Let's go!"

Since they listened to the song throughout the one-shot, I didn't put lyrics at the end. :P

I'm a huge MCR fan, so it only seemed right to type this up!

(Also, this was not requested, and requests are NOT open.  They are still very much closed, so please don't leave any requests, or else I will be forced to ignore them!)
