The Smackdown after Summerslam 2022, and tonight was the night. Hit Row were about to make their return to WWE. Even though they were without Swerve, who was over at AEW, they still had intentions of killing it on their return, especially B-Fab, who, since Triple H gave them the news that they'd be coming back to the company, was extremely motivated. Especially as they would be thrown straight into a small rivalry against Legado Del Fantasma, but being without Swerve meant they had to find a 3rd man, and thanks to B-Fab, they found him pretty easily.

???: Like you even have to ask - obviously!

B-Fab: Nice - see you out there.

She gave the mystery man a seductive look and a cheeky wink as she then caught up to Top Dolla and Ashante, who were still in the dark about who their tag team partner would be.

As Legado Del Fantasma were already in the ring, Santos was bad-mouthing the crowd, with Cruz and Joaquin by his side, as well as their new manager, Zelina Vega.

Zelina: So tonight, to prove to you that the Latino way is the best way, we are issuing an open challenge for a 6-man tag! The question is, does any team have the guts to step into the ring with the greatest Latino team ever assembled in WWE?

After a few seconds, it sounded like the roof had been blown off the arena when Hit Row made their return, to the crowd's delight.

B-Fab: We back.

Ashante: You lot miss us?!

The crowd cheered once more before Top Dolla got on the mic.

Top Dolla: We accept your little challenge...

Santos: Oh really? The two of you against the three of us? This will be easy pickings...

B-Fab: Ahem... who said anything about the "two of us?"

Immortals then blared through the arena as their tag team partner was revealed to be Josh Stevens. A friend of Hit Row, and also, a former flame of B-Fab. The three of them shook hands and B-Fab even hugged the Brit as they headed to the ring and left Legado in retreat.

10 minutes later...

Ashante had just knocked Joaquin off the apron and dodged Santos before jumping across and making the tag to Josh - who absolutely obliterated Santos and Cruz with clotheslines and superkicks galore, before he saw Joaquin springboard towards him, clocking him in mid air with another superkick, almost getting the win before Santos made the save, which only seemed to anger Josh. Zelina then got in the ring and stood side by side with Santos, but B-Fab then stood side by side with Josh, and unexpectedly to everyone, she then kissed him in the middle of the ring, giving him an unexpected confidence boost. As Josh looked at B-Fab surprisingly, Santos rolled up Josh, but he easily kicked out. Next came the Phantom Driver attempt, but Josh countered with an Eye-Opener to get the win for his team, while Top Dolla and Ashante stopped Cruz from making the save with the Heavy Hitter.

Samantha: Here are your winners, the team of Hit Row and Josh Stevens!!!

As the referee raised their hands in victory, Josh and B-Fab held hands as they headed back to the locker room, splitting from Top Dolla and Ashante as they went to Josh's locker room, while the latter went to do a post match interview with Kayla.

Josh: So, Briana... mind telling me what all that was about out there?

Briana: I dunno, I guess with all this creative freedom we've been given since Vince stepped down, I got lost in the moment, and thought back to the time we had together just over a year ago...

Flashback to NXT, May 2021...
