Shut Up and Dance - Walk the Moon

Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan were now married, and no one could contain their excitement.

Everyone was currently at the reception, enjoying themselves and, simply put, having a good time.

Brie and Daniel were having their first dance as a married couple, and everyone watched in awe.  Xavier glanced over at Sasha, who had a smile on her face.  While her original plan was to come to this wedding with her boyfriend - Finn - he was glad she was still having a good time, even if it was with him.

The dance had ended, and people were now flooding to the dance floor for their own turns.  Sasha looked over at Xavier, and stood up.

"Come on," She said, grinning.  She reached out a hand for him to take.

His eyes widened. "Um, no."

She pouted. "Why not?"

There were multiple reasons going through his mind right now, so he went with the least of his worries, as not to remind her of her absent boyfriend.

"I can't dance."

Sasha smiled again. "So?  Half the people here can't dance.  No one will notice." She paused. "Plus, I'm sure you dance fine."

"I don't want to embarrass you," He said.

"I embarrass myself just fine without you," She told him.

With a sigh, he took her outstretched hand, stood up, and let her lead him to the dance floor.

"You weren't at Trin's wedding, were you?" He asked, just as she stopped.  She turned around, placing her hands on his shoulders, as his hands found her hips.

"No.  Why?" She narrowed her eyes at him. "What did you do?"

He chuckled. "Let's just say, I'm surprised I got invited to this wedding."

"Come on, you can't be that bad." She smiled at him.

Xavier didn't recognize the song that was playing, but Sasha seemed to, based on the way she was moving her head to the music.  He didn't think she knew anything besides soundtracks to anime and Snoop Dogg, so he was a little surprised.

He wasn't entirely sure why she decided to drag him out to dance to a slow song, or why it had taken him so long to notice that it was slow.  He suddenly became very aware that his hands were on Sasha's hips, and hers were on his shoulders, and that they were much closer than friends should probably be.

 He also remembered that Sasha was not his girlfriend, but Finn's, and that if he knew she was slow dancing with him, the self-proclaimed Demon probably wouldn't be too pleased.

"So, um..." Xavier spoke up.  He knew he had just made it awkward, but he couldn't help himself.  "What are you watching right now?  Anime, I mean.  What anime are you watching right now?"

She gave him a weird look. "What?"

"What are you - ?"

"I heard you," She interrupted. "But.. Why are you asking me this now?  As much as I love anime, I feel like there's a better time to talk about it.  Now is not the time."

"I don't know." The more words that came out of his mouth, the more he realized that he seemed weird and anxious. "We haven't talked much since we got here.  I figured now was a good time to talk."

"Why don't we talk when we're seated again?" She suggested.

"That works too," He replied. "I just - "

"Xavier?"

"Yeah?"

"Just shut up and dance."

She smiled at him, and leaned her head on his chest.

"She took my arm, I don't know how it happened.  We took the floor and she said, 'Oh, don't you dare look back, just keep your eyes on me.' I said, 'You're holding back.' She said, 'Shut up and dance with me.'"
