Bayley's eyes scanned the room, looking at the fake smiles on everyone's faces.

After suffering an injury against Nia Jax, she had been taken out of her SummerSlam match. Sasha Banks would be taking her place.

While she loved Sasha, and even considered her a best friend, that should've been her facing Alexa Bliss for the women's championship.

Instead, she was seated backstage, faking a smile every time someone came up to tell her how bad they felt, a somehow faker smile on their perfectly made up face.
