Footage cuts to Kairi hitting the InSane Elbow onto Baszler and winning the title, leading to Ren to losing his mind and celebrating with his sister in the ring as Kairi just cries with joy.

Narrator: On August 18th, 2018, Ren Hosako would shock the entire wrestling world by showing up at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 4, helping his sister, Kairi Sane, win the NXT Women's Championship.

Kaori/Kairi Sane(subtitles): Kai helping me win the NXT Women's Championship, it was...

She bends down and looks at the floor with her hands around her head, with just pure emotion before she bends back up to reveal her eyes watering.

Kaori/Kairi Sane (voice cracking; subtitles): It was one of the best moments of my life. I didn't know he would sign with NXT. It made me cry to sleep that night, knowing how good it was to be reunited with my brother, after missing him for so long...

*pictures of Ren and Kairi together from the past and present*

Kaori/Kairi Sane (voice cracking; subtitles): I don't think anyone could ever understand how it felt to be with him again, after nearly a year, being away from home, from friends, and from family. And Kai showing up made me so happy. I love him so much.

Kai/Ren(subtitles): Man, reuniting with Kaori and helping her win the title was just *covering his mouth with emotion*. It was just the best feeling ever. I've been separated from her for over a year since she signed with NXT, and I only signed with WWE to be near her. She was family, and family meant everything to me, but a goal came in my mind and that was become the first ever autistic NXT Champion. I wanted to make history. I wanted to achieve new heights that people would never have the opportunity to achieve in their future. I wanted to be an inspiration for those people and let them know that if they can put in the work, they can achieve the same accomplishments that I've achieved.

Narrator: Over the next few months, Hosako would show out and give everyone a match the fans would remember, but on April 5th, 2019, after losing the NXT North American Championship, Ren would go ballistic on the Original Bro, Matt Riddle, but would completely lose it when he receives news he never thought he would get.

Footage of Kai extending his hand towards Matt, getting the crowd elated by this, Riddle accepted as he took the title from the ref and told Matt to turn around to put it around his waist.

Matt accepts, turned around, and Kai hits Riddle in the back of the head with the belt!

Renallo: What the hell!

Phoenix: What the! Ren! What are you doing!

McGuiness: I'll tell you what he's doing! He's making a statement!

Kai is looking absolutely furious and he was standing over Matt's unconscious body, but instead of leaving him alone, he flipps Matt over, sat on his stomach, and started attacking him with forearms as the crowd starts to boo him!

Renallo: What a disgusting display by Ren Hosako! Stop it! This is not how it should go down!

Phoenix: He just showed sportsmanship to Matt Riddle but now this?! What the hell is going on!

McGuiness: What's going on is that he's had enough of being the good guy! That's what is going on!

Kai/Ren(subtitles): When I turned heel once again, it felt good. I needed to go back to being an asshole because I thought it was what I was the best at. It became my specialty at that point in my career, but soon after, it was the fatal four-way match for the NXT Women's Championship, which Kairi would lose. When I learned that Kairi was being called up, I felt my whole world crumbled. I was really upset about it all because the whole point of me signing was to be near her again. Instead of letting her callup get to me, I saved all the frustration and anger for the ring, that way I don't take it out on my then-girlfriend, Masami Odate, or better known as Io Shirai at the time, who would join me, turning heel as well.

In the ring, Ren and Io start to make out with each other, causing the fans to boo even more.

Kai/Ren (subtitles): I initially thought that Masami joining me would hinder my heel run and make it look corny, but it worked because not only did enhance my performance, it also elevated my stock revenue from here, to here.

Narrator: While Ren Hosako and Io Shirai were waging war on anyone who gets caught in their crosshairs, the USA Network, NXT's flagship network, started to see Ren differently, expressing doubt on how he could draw ratings for their channel.

Kaori/Kairi Sane(subtitles): Hearing from Hunter about the USA Network mocking Kai for being autistic really pissed me off. It really did because Kai is very talented in the ring and I really wished that they could've saw him no differently and let him do what he wants to do in wrestling.

Minoru Suzuki(subtitles): I thought it was bullshit that they saw Kai differently and I still think it's bullshit today. USA Network never saw him as a draw, and that pissed me off so much. I wanted to be there for Kai, and I spend time with him, help him get it off his chest and just try to keep it moving, but he had a different idea, and it was very clever in a way.

Narrator: Instead of letting the USA Network get to him, Kai managed to pull off one of the greatest promos in NXT history. Tying into his rivalry with Matt Riddle, Kai would state this...

Kai(subtitles): It's been enough already! William Regal, NXT, let me face this coward Matt Riddle one more time! Set the date for my match. Don't make me wait for a week, a month, not even a year, I'm asking for it now!

Kai then smiles with such evil that he looks into the camera lens and said...

Kai(subtitles): In fact, I can have the match now. I can be ready in a minute. Regal, give me an answer because if I don't have one from you, I'll quit NXT and go back to Japan! Ren Hosako versus the sewerage traveling rat. A Cage Match, and if you agree, you're asking for a death sentence. Do you understand? If you do, tell him what I said.

Now it was time for Kai to bring it up because he's been wanting to call out the comments from the USA Network now that NXT has moved to TV.

Kai(subtitles): There's something else that's on my mind and I want to talk about it, besides my match against that so called "King of Bros".

Before he could take a deep breath, Kai says...

Kai(subtitles): USA Network, you all keep mentioning that I'm autistic and it sounds like you're treating me like I'm an idiot. How about you talk that way about Matt for bringing his indie friend into the mix?

He went off, and Kai doesn't hold back.

Kai(subtitles): Who the hell do you think I am? I'm not like any other autistic person you know, not like those butt sniffers who think two plus two equals twenty-two. Don't treat me like a retard. Stop talking about my disability. You have no idea how I was able to make it in this industry. Stop trying to be funny! I'm serious as my relationship with Io!

Then, Kai starts to mock the USA Network, thinking they can get away with insulting him like this.

Kai(subtitles): "He's that good as an autistic wrestler!" "He's made it to where he is, even if he's autistic!" "He's pretty good, for being autistic!" Don't freaking push me. All I know is when I'm in that ring, the result is what matters! It's not about the background, it's about his or her ability to wrestle an actual match!

So far, the message is being clear, but Kai had to keep going.

Kai(subtitles): Don't screw with me. Don't judge me by other things. Don't include me in your notions of what a person with a disability is all about.

A lot of people start coming near the place where Kai was cutting the promo as they were starting to get scared by what he was saying, but Kai doesn't care.

Kai(subtitles): Do you understand? I said, do you understand? You have no idea how I manage to live. I'm not like any of those autistic people who barely know how to use the toilet, bitching and moaning about how they have to get up in the morning to eat their pathetic breakfast. THAT'S BULLSHIT!

When Kai says "bullshit", everyone jumps back a bit in fear and they knew that he wasn't dicking around.

Kai(subtitles): You don't know who the hell I am! Don't push me because I only fight to live another day. It's the only reason why I'm in this sport!

Kai keeps at it.

Kai(subtitles): It's also why I sleep and get up every morning. Don't take me for a retard.

He finishes the promo with...

Kai(subtitles): That's all I wanted to bring up. Don't expect me to show up for work if this keeps happening. Don't push me.

He walks offscreen and the footage ends.

Kai/Ren(subtitles): To be honest, I actually hated cutting that promo. I didn't want to do it, but I knew for a fact that a message had to be sent. It wasn't the first time I faced adversity, but for those guys to say that I couldn't draw ratings as an autistic wrestler was an insult to my work. I had to let them know that I wasn't playing around. Whether they liked me or not, they were going to respect me.

Narrator: A few months after the promo, Ren would face Adam Cole for the NXT Championship, but during that match, something would throw him off, leading to the downfall of his happiness in wrestling.
