Dean Ambrose and Tommy Ambrose pulled away from their hug as Carlo Reed & Michelle Shaw smiled at them.

Dean-''I can't believe you're back, brother!''

Tommy-''I can't believe I'm back!''

They laughed!

Dean-''Welcome home.''

Tommy-''Thanks.''

Dean-''Oh, man. Mom is gonna be so happy when she sees you.''

Tommy-''I can't wait to see Mom and Michelle. Two years of not seeing them and you....was torture.''

Dean-''But everything is done in Europe, right?''

Tommy-''Mostly.''

Dean-''What do you mean?''

Tommy-''I'll explain everything later.''

Dean-''Ok.''

Tommy-''I'm sorry it took so long to come back.''

Dean-''Don't worry about that. What's important is that you're back.''

They smiled and then they looked over to Reed & Shaw and walked up to them on the pathway.

Tommy-''I certainly wouldn't be back without these two helping me out.''

Dean-''You guys went to Europe to help him?''

Reed-''Of course, D.''

Shaw-''We met him in Europe when he just started on his job. He knew he could call us any time he needed us.''

They all smiled.

Reed-''Well, we'll catch up on a later time, T.''

Tommy-''You guys leaving already? You said you never got a chance to meet my mom and sister.''

Dean-''That's right. You guys can meet them now.''

Reed-''Sounds great, D. But Mick & I don't want to intrude on a family reunion.''

Tommy-''You won't be intruding, guys.''

Shaw-''No, it's all good. This is Ambrose family time. We'll come visit some other time. Enjoy your reunion with your family, Tom.''

Tommy smiled.

Tommy-''Thanks, guys.''

Shaw hugged Tommy & Dean.

Shaw-''See you, guys. Have a good evening.''

Reed bumped fists with Tommy & Dean.

Reed-''See you guys around.''

Reed & Shaw got in their car and waved at Dean & Tommy before driving off.

Tommy-''Those two are awesome.''

Dean-''They never mentioned that they knew you.''

Tommy-''If someone is undercover, they never talk about them.''

Dean-''I understand.''

Tommy looked at the house and took a deep breath.

Dean-''You ok, bro?''

Tommy-''I'm nervous.''

Tommy smiled and was about to walk towards the house, but Dean grabbed his arm.

Dean-''Wait.''

Tommy-''What is it?''

Dean-''Listen, there's uh....something I need to tell you before you see mom & Michelle.''

Tommy-''Whatever it is, it can wait. I haven't seen them in 2 years.''

Dean-''Tommy, I-''

Tommy rushed over to the porch steps and saw the ramp.

Dean-''Dammit.''

Dean sighed as Tommy looked at Dean.

Tommy-''Why is half of the front steps covered with a ramp?''

Dean rushed up next to Tommy.

Dean-''That's what I need to tell you. Michelle is in a-''

Then the door suddenly opened and Elizabeth was in complete shock!

Elizabeth-''T-T-Tom....THOMAS?!!''

Tommy-''Hi, Mom!''

Elizabeth screamed with joy as she hugged Tommy tightly and he hugged her back as Dean smiled at them.

Elizabeth-''Oh, my gosh!''

Elizabeth was in tears.

Tommy-''Oh, mom. Don't cry.''

Dean-''She's just happy to see you, bro.''

Elizabeth-''I am! Come inside.''

They all walked in and went into the living room.

Elizabeth-''Why didn't you call to say you were coming home?''

Tommy-''And spoil the surprise? I couldn't do that. Besides, I just got back.''

They smiled.

Elizabeth-''Who brought you home?''

Tommy-''Reed & Shaw brought me home.''

Dean-''They brought him home about 10 minutes ago as I got home. I was just as shocked as you were, Mom.''

Elizabeth-''I'll bet you were.''

They all chuckled.

Elizabeth-''Where are your bags?''

Tommy-''This backpack is all I have. I'm good. Plus, I'm ready to move back in. That is....if my room hasn't been turned into a game room.''

Dean-''We considered that as an option.''

They laughed.

Elizabeth-''Your room is exactly how you left it. Now I have all my kids at home.''

Tommy-''Speaking of all your kids, where is my beautiful baby sister?''

Elizabeth-''Oh, she's in the garage cleaning her motorbike.''

Tommy-''I'll go surprise her.''

Tommy puts his backpack on the floor.

Dean-''Tommy, wait. I need to tell you something.''

Tommy-''Later, bro. I gotta see Michelle.''

Tommy rushed off.

Elizabeth-''Oh, goodness. He doesn't know.''

Dean-''How do you think he's gonna react?''

Elizabeth-''We better go see.''

Dean & Elizabeth rushed off after Tommy as he walked into the kitchen and opened the door that lead to the garage.

Tommy-''Michelle?! Guess who's *sees her*.....home.''

Tommy couldn't believe what he saw as Dean ran in and stood next to him and Elizabeth stood in the kitchen. Michelle had her headphones on and her back was towards them as she sat in her wheelchair, so she didn't hear them come in as she was cleaning her motorbike.

Tommy-''Oh, my *in shock* Oh, my God.''

Dean-''Tom-''

Tommy-''Why is she in a wheelchair?''

Tommy looked at Dean in shock.

Dean-''There was an accident. She was driving and got hit by another car.''

Tommy-''When?!''

Dean-''A year ago.''

Michelle's music stopped.

Tommy-''WHAT?!''

Michelle quickly looked behind her and took off her headphones.

Michelle-''Oh, my God! *smiles* Tommy?!''

Dean & Tommy looked at Michelle as she turned to face them.

Tommy-''H-Hey, baby sister.''

Michelle-''Oh, my goodness! Come here! Give me a hug!!''

Tommy walked over, kneeled down and gave her a big tight hug.

Michelle-''I missed you so much!''

Tommy-''I missed you too.''

They pulled away from their hug.

Michelle-''When did you get back?''

Michelle asked with a smile, but then she noticed that Tommy was staring at her wheelchair.

Michelle-''Hey? Are you ok?''

Tommy glanced up at her and then at the wheelchair again.

Michelle-''Oh. Tommy, I'm ok.''

Tommy-''A-Are you sure?''

Michelle-''I'm fine. Doctors said I have a 50% chance of walking again.''

Tommy held back his tears as he was feeling very overwhelmed.

Tommy-''Uh....how long have you been in this wheelchair?''

Michelle-''Ever since I got released from the hospital after my surgery. That was about 10 months ago.''

Tommy-''Ten....ten months?''

Michelle-''Yeah. But don't worry, Dean & Mom have been taking great care of me and I've been going to therapy to help keep me positive when everything seems hopeless.''

Tommy felt a huge lump in his throat.

Michelle-''But I'm very positive that I'll be walking again soon.''

Michelle smiled. Tommy smiled as well, but he was holding back his tears so badly.

Tommy-''That's go-good to hear, babygirl.''

They smiled.

Michelle-''So, are you back for good?''

Tommy-''Yes. I am and I'm moving back in.''

Michelle-''Yes! We should all have a family dinner tonight.''

Dean-''That sounds like a great idea.''

Michelle-''Awesome. I'll go tell Mom.''

Tommy-''Oh, ok.''

Tommy stood up and Michelle went into the house as Tommy looked at Dean.

Dean-''Tom-''

Tommy-''Can I talk to you outside?''

Tommy walked up to the large garage door, opened it and stormed off outside over to Dean's car and Dean followed him. Dean closed the garage door and the two brothers stood in front of the car facing each other.

Tommy-''Why?''

Dean-''Why didn't I tell you?''

Tommy-''Yes!''

Dean-''Firstly, you just got home. Secondly, I tried stopping you, but you wouldn't listen.''

Tommy-''Well, you should've just told me!''

Dean-''It's not something that you just blurt out, brother!''

They both took a deep breath.

Dean-''Tommy, I know you're hurting because you didn't know. And I know you're pissed that you couldn't be here for Michelle from the moment this all happened. But-''

Tommy-''But nothing! I should've been told about this from the moment it happened!''

Dean-''I couldn't tell you! You were working undercover and I couldn't risk your safety! I knew that, Michelle knew that and Mom knew it. We wanted to tell you!''

Tommy looked at Dean with tears in his eyes.

Dean-''When Michelle was in the hospital, all I wanted to do was call you and get you back home. But I couldn't! You were working undercover for a year at that point. If you just up and left, your life would have been in danger as well as mom's life and Michelle's life!''

Tommy leaned against the car and wiped his tears knowing Dean was right.

Dean-''Bro, I'm sorry. I know it hurts that you didn't know and I know you're pissed at yourself for not being here for Michelle. But she's not mad at you, I'm not mad at you and Mom isn't mad at you.''

Dean and Tommy sat down on the bonnet of the car.

Dean-''No one is mad at you. No one blames you for not being here. I left L.A. and moved back here when it all happened. Michelle had me and mom the whole time.''

Tommy nodded.

Tommy-''I'm glad she had you both.''

Dean nodded.

Tommy-''Why is she seeing a therapist?''

Dean-''She....she fell into a deep depression. We all saw a change in her and we needed to get her out of that darkness.''

Tommy-''Oh....I understand.''

Dean-''You should also know that we really saw that she needed help after she was kidnapped.''

Tommy-''What?! Who kidnapped her?!''

Dean-''Don't worry, they're in jail. But Michelle got shot in the process of me saving her.''

Tommy-''Oh, my God.''

Dean-''She was bleeding in my arms, bro. I thought *tears filled his eyes* I thought we were gonna lose her.''

Tommy saw the pain in Dean's eyes.

Dean-''But she pulled through, thank God. Then she started seeing a therapist to help with all the trauma.''

Tommy-''Dean....I'm so sorry I wasn't here.''

Dean-''No need to apologise, bro. Plus, she's doing so much better now.''

Tommy nodded.

Tommy-''What am I suppose to do now?''

Dean-''What do you mean?''

Tommy-''How do I make it up to her for not being here for her?''

Dean-''You have nothing to make up for. Just do what you couldn't do before, be there for her now.''

Tommy-''Right.''

Dean-''Just don't treat her like she's helpless. She'll let you know if she needs help with anything.''

Tommy-''It's gonna take time, but I think I'll get used to it. But right now, to me, it seems like she needs me more than ever.''

Dean-''Then be there for her.''

They smiled sadly.

Dean-''Come on. Let's go help mom & Michelle with dinner.''

Tommy-''Ok.''

Dean & Tommy went back inside the house.

The Ambrose family spent the evening cooking together. Some eggs were broken on the floor, flour got thrown around and food fell on the floor, but got picked up because of the 5 second rule!

Later, they had all just finished dinner as they sat by a table on the backyard porch.

Tommy-''Mom, I missed your cooking. There's no meal like a mother's meal.''

Dean-''Very true.''

Elizabeth-''I'm just so glad that you're finally home, Thomas. We all are.''

Tommy-''Me too. I can't wait to spend time here at home and then it's back to work.''

Michelle-''Captain Willis wants you back already?''

Tommy-''Only in a week or two.''

Michelle nodded.

Tommy-''But don't worry, sis. I will be spending every moment with you while I'm home.''

Michelle-''Awesome.''

They all smiled.

Then Elizabeth stood up and gathered up all the plates.

Dean-''Let me help you, Mom.''

Dean helped her take all the plates & glasses into the house.

Tommy-''So, how is physical therapy?''

Michelle-''It was very hard at first, but it's going great now.''

Tommy-''That's good. It always gets easier overtime.''

Dean walked back outside.

Michelle-''Well, I'm pretty tired. I'm gonna head off to bed.''

Dean kissed Michelle's cheek and hugged her.

Dean-''Goodnight, babygirl.''

Michelle-''Goodnight.''

Tommy gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

Tommy-''Goodnight, Shelley.''

Michelle-''Goodnight.''

Michelle went back inside the house as Dean sat down next to Tommy.

Tommy-''Listen, I'm sorry about how angry I got at you earlier.''

Dean-''No need to apologise. I understand.''

Tommy-''How has she been coping?''

Dean-''It was very hard at first. After months of hard work, her progress dropped to 10%.''

Tommy-''Oh, man.''

Dean-''She cried herself to sleep in my arms that night.''

Tommy sighed sadly.

Dean-''But now, she's more positive with her therapy and her progress is back up to 50%.''

Tommy-''Awesome.''

Dean-''She'll be walking again soon.''

Tommy-''She's an Ambrose. We may go down, but we don't stay down.''

Dean-''Damn right.''

They smiled.

Dean-''It's really good to have you back, brother.''

Tommy-''Good to be back, brother.''

Dean & Tommy smiled and bumped fists.

Then Elizabeth stepped outside again.

Elizabeth-''I'm headed to bed, boys.''

Tommy stood up and hugged her.

Tommy-''Goodnight, Mom.''

Elizabeth-''Goodnight, Thomas.''

They pulled away from their hug and Tommy kissed her cheek. Dean stood up and hugged her.

Dean-''Goodnight, Mom.''

Elizabeth-''Goodnight, Dean.''

Dean kissed her cheek and she walked back inside the house as the two brothers sat down again.

Dean-''So, how did things come to an end in Europe?''

Tommy-''Ok. But please don't tell mom or Michelle about this?''

Dean-''Ok.''

Then Tommy told Dean about the last couple of days when everything ended in Italy with Lance Archer.

Dean-''Damn. And they didn't find him?''

Tommy-''No. Sting & Darby Allin are keeping Captain updated on anything they find.''

Dean-''And you stayed hidden before coming back home, right?''

Tommy-''Yeah. And it was on the news that I was arrested for everything. But obviously, that was all in case Archer is alive and is wondering where I am.''

Dean nodded.

Dean-''I get it. Man, I owe Captain, Reed & Shaw big time for bringing you back home, brother.''

Tommy smiled.

Tommy-''Hey, I....I heard from Reed & Shaw what happened with Seth. I'm sorry, bro.''

Dean-''Yeah. *sighs* It's been a month since everything went down and I....I continue to feel like it's a bad dream and I'll wake up from it every morning.''

Dean ran his fingers through his hair.

Dean-''But it's as real as it will be.''

Tommy nodded.

Dean-''I just don't get it, Tom. Seth would never do something like this. When I went to go talk to him in the hospital....I swear it felt like I was not talking to the man I used to call a brother.''

Tommy-''Dean, we've both done undercover work. And you & I both know that sometimes it can change a person.''

Dean looked at Tommy.

Tommy-''Sometimes people start to believe that they are the person they're pretending to be because they've been undercover for so long.''

Dean-''True.''

Tommy-''Maybe Batista manipulated Seth.''

Dean-''You think?''

Tommy-''Maybe. I know Seth is a smart dude, but anyone can be manipulated when they are constantly being told what they want to hear. Especially when it comes to career, hopes and dreams.''

Dean-''Damn. I think you're right.''

Tommy stared at Dean for a moment, knowing his brother was getting an idea.

Dean-''Tom? *looks at Tommy* Do you think....''

Dean sighed.

Tommy-''What is it, bro?''

Dean-''If Seth was manipulated by Batista, do you think it's possible that being away from Batista for the past month will somewhat make Seth realise that he was being tricked?''

Tommy-''Like I said, Seth is a smart dude. It's most likely he's starting to come to the realisation that Batista was just using him.''

Dean-''How will I know if he's coming back to reality, so to speak?''

Tommy-''There's only one way to find out.''

Dean-''Go talk to him?''

Dean asked sadly.

Tommy-''Yeah. That way, you can get a good read on him. See where his head is at and watch his emotions.''

Dean-''Right.''

Tommy-''Take Carlo with you. He's an excellent judge of character. He'll be able to fill in any gaps that you may have questions about.''

Dean-''Thanks. I'll give Reed a call tomorrow.''

Tommy-''Cool.''

Tommy put his hand on Dean's shoulder.

Tommy-''Don't worry, bro. I'm sure we'll get Seth back. Just don't give up on him.''

Dean-''I don't think I ever did.''

Tommy-''That's my brother.''

They smiled sadly.

Dean-''So, what's next?''

Tommy-''The Ambrose Brothers kicking ass in Cincinnati once again!''

Dean-''Hell yeah!''

They smiled and bumped fists.
