Seth's POV
Well, Jason and I had lost to the Bar at the Rumble. I honestly wasn't surprised, I mean Jason left me in the ring to defend myself.
We had no team effort whatsoever.
"Roman, I'm just sick and tired of being left alone," I complained as I walked to my locker.
"Yeah, you've always had an issue with that."
I turned towards him and gave him a look, to which he put his hands up in defense.
"You're right, but I really miss Dean in the ring with me," I stared. "And I know when he can fight again, he's coming for me."
"You don't know that for sure," Roman said, but I stopped him.
"Yes I do, he told me."
Roman shrugged his shoulders and then opened his locker. I guess one good thing came out of the weekend.
I asked Charlotte to marry me.
She said yes.
I was so happy to get to call her my fiancé, now no one else could have her. We always had our issues, but now I put a ring on it.
"So, you and Charlotte are really engaged, huh?" Roman asked as he shut his locker.
"Yeah, and if you could keep it quiet?" He nodded and then Jason came running towards us, full speed ahead.
"I heard you got engaged, that's great! When were you going to tell me?" He patted my back.
"Well, it just happened, so Char and I were trying to keep to it to ourselves."
He nodded and then ran off to class, or to go talk to his dad.
It was probably the second one.
"I am so glad Stephanie isn't here, I can't stand her," Roman said as we walked to the English classroom.
"Me too, she just sets me off."
Batista was in the room, already writing the bell ringer topic on the board. I liked him as a teacher, he was very calm, and seemed to enjoy it.
Where as I'm pretty sure Steph is only here to get paid.
"Alright guys, today you just get to voice your opinion on the royal rumble," Batista said as we all got out paper.
I hated the rumble, and I wrote that too. Jason didn't even help, and I was left alone. I had also competed in the 30-Man rumble match, so that drained some of my energy too.
"I missed the rumble, it sucked that I wasn't in it," Dean said as he wrote that down.
"I missed you too," I said from beside to him.
"Man, we would've crushed The Bar," he sighed.
I nodded my head, knowing that he was right. Hell, we had dominated The Bar before.
"He didn't need you, Dean, he had me!" Jason said from the back of the class.
"What the hell are you talking about? You didn't even get in the ring, you literally left me to defend myself!" I screamed back at him.
"Yeah, but I wasn't-" I cut him off.
"It's always about I with you, never about us, just you! You're a daddy's boy, son of a bitch!"
Dean and Roman pulled me back down in my seat and I just wanted to leave. Batista excused me to the main office, as Kurt has called me down.
I swear it was like he had a radar on Jason, and everyone someone bullied him, he called that person down.
"Hey, Kurt."
He crossed his arms. "Have a seat, Seth."
I did as instructed and then gave a look of whatever.
"Now, I know you and my son lost, but you can't treat your tag partner that way," he started. "I should suspend you."
"Suspend me for what? All I did was tell your son the truth, which he obviously can't handle the damn truth! So guess what, you don't have to suspend me, because until you get rid of Jason," I started as I stood up.
"I'm out of the tag division."
I slammed the door to his office, but he opened it again.
"That's a shame, Mr. Rollins, it really is. I was going to give you another title opportunity, as long as you found another partner, since Jason can't compete."
I sighed a heavy sigh, but walked towards the office door anyway. Jason Jordan was the one responsible for my blowup, and I didn't want to hold the tag titles by myself.
"Hey, where'd you go?" Dean and Roman looked at me as I stopped at my locker.
"Kurt wanted to see me."
"About?" Dean asked.
"About how I shouldn't bully Jason, and how we should work as a team, and let me tell you," I paused. "He should give that pep talk to his own damn son!"
They agreed in silent fashion, and then we all walked to gym.
Becky's POV
The Royal Rumble was great, we got to see the first ever Women's Royal Rumble. So many legends returned, and overall, it was a great night.
Some of the men were angry that we took their main event spot on the PPV, but that wasn't our choice, we were just told by everyone that's where we were going to be.
"Becky, you were amazing in the Rumble, I'm so proud to call you my best friend," Sheamus came up to me the next day.
I gave him a hug back. I was always grateful for Sheamus and I's relationship. We had known each other forever, and nothing was awkward between us.
"Also, happy birthday," he cheered, giving me a card.
"Thanks so much, Sheamus, I'm surprised you remembered."
"What kind of best friend would I be if I forgot your birthday?"
I shrugged and laughed to myself. I was hoping that Cesaro would remember my birthday, but I had no idea if he would or not.
After Sheamus had given me my card, he walked off to his locker. We had gotten to school a bit early today, as I wanted more time to prepare for the Mixed Match Challenge.
Ah, the MMC, my current problem at the moment. I was dating Cesaro, and I was happy with him, but Sami was my mixed match tag partner, and every time we're together, I just want to kiss him and hug him.
Because I missed him.
I missed Sami Zayn.
I missed his red hair, his cute smile, his warm and gentle soul, and overall I just missed him. He was the first guy I dated, and forgave me after everything that I had put him through.
"Hey, Becky," I was snapped out of my thoughts when Cesaro approached me.
"Oh, hi."
He kissed me, and I kissed back. However, my mind wasn't completely focused on him. I was still thinking about Sami.
"Becky, are you okay? You seem to be thinking about something else."
"No, I'm fine, I'm just still on a high rush from the first ever women's royal rumble," I said and he nodded his head.
That wasn't a complete lie, I was still hyped up from the rumble, but I wan't necessarily thinking about it at this very moment.
I was thinking about a certain red haired Canadian.
School passed by so slow today, and English was no exception. If I didn't care about my grades, I would've just stopped doing my work.
Like Kevin Owens.
But, I cared about my grades, and I was Salutatorian, with AJ Styles being the Valedictorian. So, with that title hanging above my head, I had to keep up with my grades, any slip up and I could be bumped down a spot.
I've worked too hard to let that happen.
"Class, today we're going to watch a movie," Batista said as he pulled up the projector.
"Really? Steph never lets us watch movies," Seth said then turned to Dean. "Maybe it's a documentary on Hunter."
Dean and Roman rolled their eyes and their Shield brother. No matter what it was, Seth always found a way to make things about Triple H.
"No, it's a movie about William Shakespeare."
Seth sighed and then pouted in his seat. Everyone rolled their eyes at Seth, but we watched the video anyway, and I'll be the first to tell you, it was stupid.
But, at least there were no study questions to go with it.
After school, before I left, Cesaro grabbed me in the hallway, and I was honestly hoping he was going to tell me happy birthday.
"So, do you want to go out tonight?"
I looked at him. "Really? Why?"
"Well, I mean a celebration is in order."
Oh my gosh, he actually remembered my birthday. Now, we were going to go out and celebrate.
"What celebration?"
I just wanted to hear him say it.
"For Sheamus and I becoming four time tag team champs, duh," he said as he kissed me.
"Seriously? So is it going to be a group?" I asked, tears almost filling my eyes.
"Yes, are you going to come?"
I shook my head no and then ran down the hall. I had the MMC tonight, and I needed to focus on that. I couldn't believe that Cesaro didn't know today was my birthday.
I sat down in the hallway, my knees to my chest. I was hoping Bayley would come around the corner and give me a hug.
"I know, I'll see you later, Kevin!" I heard Sami yell as he came around the corner. Then, he noticed me. "Becky, are you okay?"
I shook my head and he sat down next to me. "Why are you upset on your 18th birthday?"
I smiled and looked up at him. "You remembered?"
"Of course, January 30th was one day I always had to remember."
I smiled and then kissed him. I knew I was with Cesaro, but this felt right.
"Hey, aren't you with Cesaro?" He asked as he stepped back.
"Yes, but I've been thinking about you, and-"
"You're with him, Becks. We're not together, and only partners in the Mixed Match Challenge."
"Cesaro forgot my birthday."
He looked at me. "Talk to him."
He then walked to the gym and I followed behind, regretting that I had kissed him.
