charlie lies in the medical tent on his bed all of a sudden a doctor comes up to him "well private im very happy to say you are fine the bullets didnt go right throw you apart from the bullet in your foot and you wont be going back home"

12 hours later
"welcome back charlie" captain jackson says suddenly 10 shell pound the ground and in the distance a whistle blows "SHIT THE GERMANS ARE ATTACKING" but then some yellow smoke was coming over the field "what the fuck is that" says a soldier another soldier replies "GAS I SAW IT AT YPRES" all of a sudden the soldier pisses on a cotton pad and says "DO THIS IT WILL PROTECT YOU FROM INHALING IT" he wraps it around his face and many soldiers do the same including charlie and captain jackson suddenly the gas comes over the trench and the men who didnt listen start dying and are getting boils on there skin a captain who knows charlie who has been caught in the attack says "private get on that machine g--" the captain falls dead as many other soldiers do aswell charlie runs to the machine gun and his other friend Thomas get on the machine gun as the loader "FIRE" says captain jackson
Charlie pulls the trigger "RAT TA TAT RAT TA TAT RAT TA TAT" german soldier fall like a bunch of domines and others fly in the air from shells pounding the french soil captain jackson then says "THE GERMANS ARE IN THE TRENCH" thomas and charlie get their rifles and put there helmets on captain jackson throws a grenade making the attackers fall back the british troops go into every alley way of the trench. All of a sudden thomas gets killed by a barrel that explodes charlie keeps running and sees captain jackson getting pounded with bullet through him charlie cries but keeps running all of a sudden a german sticks is gun into the mud and he holding the other end making charlie hit his head and fall he looks at the german and the german says "charlie is that you" he says in a germans accent "otto" charlie replies "i havent seen you since christmas" otto suddenly gets shot in the forehead charlie looks and sees two soldiers with smoking guns and they say "are you ok" just so Charlie wouldn't be accused of being friends with a German says "yes I'm fine thank you" they help him up and takes him to reserve trench.
