Day 2 - First Morning

On their second day in the cabin, the first traveler who woke up was Dong-Yoon. He tried so hard not to wake Mi-sun up since she would react abruptly. Even though the other travelers would see them lovely and very-like couple, they hated each other. That really goes to the core now.

As he walked out of the couple room, heading out to the center of the cabin, and found a lounger there, Dong-Yoon lay down and have some rest. It's quite too early to do anything.

Their wake-up call hasn't gone up yet.

One hour later, the wake-up call for the rest of the travelers went up.

"Good morning, guys!" Shannon greeted everybody.

But it seems like everybody is tired.

And then Emilio noticed someone is missing inside the room. "Where's Dong-Yoon, Mi-sun?"

Mi-sun looked at the side of the bed where Dong-Yoon should be in. She shrugged off. "I don't know... I woke up he was not there already. Maybe he went to the bathroom."

When she said that, the others didn't mind where Dong-Yoon is. He could right just be in the bathroom.

"How's your sleep?" Connor asked Elizabeth as he settles laying his back on the headboard.

Elizabeth looked so in love with him. "It was good. I really had a good one. What about you?"

"Same," Connor said, smiling. "It was good to share the bed with you. I'm still happy that I've got to share my first and now the second day with you."

Elizabeth gets his hand and somehow plays with his fingers. "Likewise, Con."

They followed the others where they started getting up from their bed and headed out of the couple's room. Later on, Omar saw Dong-Yoon on the lounger and everyone went there to see him.

Dong-Yoon somehow gets surprised and found the others coming up at him. Mi-sun looked at them, smiled, and joined them. She doesn't want to spoil the fun or do anything bad that her co-travelers would guess about what was happening between them.

"I feel like I've seen Mi-sun before," Cinema muttered, sitting on the stool on the outside kitchen area.

Omar looked at him as he's preparing to cook something for both of them. "Really?"

"Didn't she mention she is a celebrity?" Cinema asked.

Omar shrugged off. "Oh, I forgot. I'm not sure. But maybe you're just thinking of someone else. To tell you honestly, she just looked like other Korean girls."

She winced. "Uh... that's kind of stereotyping their race."

"Oh, my bad," he said, taking it back. "But I'm not pointing it as a race, for me, someone who works in an airline, sometimes it would be hard for you to distinguish them."

"Alright," Cinema said. "But good thing for them, "Communication won't be hard for them."

"Tayo rin naman, a?" Omar said, smiling. (We are too, right?)

Cinema laughed because of his funny accent. "Well, totoo naman. But whatever language you prefer to speak, I don't mind." (Well, it's the truth.)

"Sure, sure..." He smiled. "So, here's for you. I wanna know what you think of it."

Omar handed over a plate of toasted bread with avocado spread on top of it. Cinema said she wasn't the type of person who usually eats this kind of breakfast, but when she tried it, she likes it.

The others joined them and cooked breakfast for themselves. Carlos and Shannon headed to the lounge area where they decided to have their breakfast alone. They cooked some pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs.

"Aside from pastries, do you cook other meals?" Carlos asked.

"Yeah, I do," she nodded. "Baking is my profession so I usually bake pastry stuff almost every day, but I cooked meals as well, but occasionally. Why do you ask? Do you cook anything other than frying?" She giggled.

Carlos laughed and shook his head. "To tell you honestly, I barely cooked. I always eat takeouts. I live alone and it's kind of hard for me to juggle my responsibilities."

"Ah, I see... you didn't tell me what your job is? What do you do for a living?"

Carlos laughed and looked down. A laugh that somehow suddenly vanished. "I'm not sure if you would take it seriously or you'll look at me in a bad way for—"

"No, no," Shannon said, immediately taking his hand so he wouldn't apologize for it. "Whatever you do for life is, I don't mind as long as you take care of yourself. And when you're comfortable enough to tell me what it is, I'll wait. But I hope you didn't rob a bank."

Carlos broke into a laugh and took a deep breath, raising his head and looking into Shannon's eyes. "Okay, I'm not ashamed of what I do. I'm a stripper, Shan."

"Oh..." that only word she responded, slowly nodding her head. "That's nice..."

Carlos creases his forehead.

"I always thought strippers are hot," Shannon said, giggling. "Don't you worry about it, Carlos. I don't mind. I know you're only doing it for work—right?"

Carlos nodded. "Yes, of course. Never did anything to my clients."

"So, you must be a good dancer?"

Carlos chuckled. "I can also be good in bed."

Shannon swooned and started fanning herself with her hand. "It's getting hot in here, Carlos. Don't try to make it hotter in here. We're gonna get sunburned."

Carlos smiled thinking that it wasn't the reaction he would get from Shannon, but this unexpected reaction from her is something good he'll carry on.

The others finished their breakfast and some decided to jump on the pool to take a dip. Everyone's agenda today is getting to know each other and how they would be able to connect with their couples. It is just the second day, but time is limited inside the cabin and if they didn't make a move, their journey in Continental Romance will be cut short in less than thirty-six hours.

Is it really possible to find a strong connection in just two days in the cabin?
