Today in my ELA class, we were given sentence excerpts and were asked to make a complex sentence out of it. My excerpt was 'When I was younger'. Naturally, I wrote 'When I was younger, my father took me into the city to see a marching band'.

When I passed my paper to the girl behind me (we had to have other people check our work), she just tapped my shoulder and said 'I can hear the g note in my soul right now'

So yeah, I found another emo. We then preceded to write 'Ryden was real', '*g note*', and 'DESTROYA's moaning is my religion' all over our papers. Thank Chuck my teacher did not take those up.
