(Y/N) Todoroki

The next day, Shoto and I practically fly around the house, grabbing our clothing. Once we arrive at UA, we rush to get around the people and we enter our room.

    "Everyone, get your game faces on! We're entering the arena soon!" Iida yells, and everyone's anxiety suddenly rushes to the sky.

    I watch as Shoto declares war against Midoryia, which makes everyone suddenly angry.

    "Oh boy, here we go." I mutter, facepalming.

    "Huh, what do you mean (Y/N)?" Uraraka asks.

    "This is where part of Shoto really shows to Midoryia." I reply.

    As we all enter arena, I control my anxiety and we enter the middle where stands Midnight.

    "Oh god, her costume is so much worse in person." I mutter, as Shoto gives me a confused sideglance.

    "And for the class representative, we have Katsuki Bakugo!" Midnight yells, which opens my eyes as he hops up on the stage and speaks to the viewers.

    "I just wanna say- I'm going to win." He mutters.

    "Now let's get started!" Midnight says, "The first game of the festival will be an obstacle course!"

    We all take our places in front of the door, but I remember that Shoto will freeze everyone in the door.

    "Hey, brother!" I call to him, he turns to me. There are two green lights still showing before we go.

    "Yeah sis?" One light left.

    "Don't freeze me to the ground this time?" I say, just as the last green light disappears and everyone starts pooling into the narrow entrance.

    Just as ice begins to form, I jump in the air and send a signal to the ground. The earth picks me up- shoving the other people out of the way, and I quickly fly beside my brother.

    "Didn't you hear me in the beginning, brother?" I giggle, "No freezing me today."

    I create a large wall of dirt as I fly past him, which makes the other UA students pretty angry with me.

    I watch as three robots appear beside me. I stop the earth from moving me and I create a large icicle and allow the earth to fly me high above the robots. As I come back down I spray many icicles at them- breaking them all apart.

    I hear Present Mic's voice from the arena, "(Y/N) Todoroki from class 1-A! Her quirk, The Elements! (Y/N) is able to emit light, darkness, control the earth, emit ice or fire, and even water from her body at any given time. It looks like she's pulled into first place with a devastating attack on the robots!"

    I smirk, as I notice one of the cameras pan onto me, I wave at it with a grin and continue to make the earth move me ahead of the other students. I come across the cavern. I glance behind me to see the rest of the school approach the obstacle.

    I use my ice to slide across all of the ropes and when I get to the other side I see Tsu and Shoto getting closer. I quickly use the earth to propel myself forwards, basically flying past the entire cavern. But the ground drops behind me as I fly over, making sure no one else can use my path. Eventually, I come across the minefield. I create little pedestals for me to hop to and then I jump over all the mines with ease. Once I get to the end of them, I use the earth to drag me forwards. When I get to the other side, I see Shoto and I drop all of the earth that helped me get across.

    "Sorry brother, I'm not helping you today." I mutter.

    I wave to him and fly ahead, making it back to the arena. I enter it and Present Mic is dumbfounded.

    "And it seems like (Y/N) Todoroki has come first in the obstacle race!" He yells, "I was secretly rooting for her the entire time!"

    The crowd erupts into cheers, I smile and wave to them all. I glance at the cameras just as Midoryia blows up the minefield and I watch as the three of them approach the entrance.

    "Izuku Midoryia is our second place, followed by Shoto Todoroki, and Katsuki Bakugo!" Present Mic yells.

    I run over to my brother, giving him a hug then I turn to Midoryia and give him a high five. Once all of the students make it to the arena, we look at the standing.

    It shows me in first place, then Midoryia, Shoto, and Bakugo as well as the other students.

    "Only the top forty-two will advance!" Midnight says, "The next game is a cavalry battle! The participants will create a group of two to four people as they see fit. It's basically the same as a regular playground game but there's one difference. Each player has been assigned a point value based on the results from the first round. The points go up in increments of five. For example, forty-second place is worth 5 points, while forty-first is worth 10. And the points assigned to the first place contestant is TEN MILLION."

    I freeze, I was so caught up in the spotlight that I forgot that I'll become the new target.

    "Shit." I mutter.

    "Its the chance for those at the bottom to overthrow the top!" Midnight explains, "Survival of the fittest!"

    I smile awkwardly as everyone stares at me with a devilish smirk on their faces. I glance over at Shoto, he's staring at me but the second that our eyes lock together, he smiles- ushering me over.

    "You've got fifteen minutes to make your teams!" She says.

    Shoto pats my back, and I smile up at him.

    Eventually, Shoto, Yayorozu, Iida and I stand together. I glance over at Midoryia.

(I realize Kaminari was also in his group but due to the limit of four, I can't allow him in)

    I head over to him and whisper in his ear, "Don't cry at the end this time, alright?"

    The bell rings and we all begin. I put the headband around me as I sit on Iida's back, while Shoto and Yayorozu hold up my sides.

    Shoto explains the plan but as Iida mentions Shoto's fire quirk, I interrupt, "He never uses his left side."

    My brother nods as we both look up at Endeavor. Once the cavalry battle begins, all of UA high charges at us. I growl under my breath and create a platform of earth under us, shooting it in the air. Before we can stay up there for long, Midoryia, Uraraka, the pink-haired girl from the support course, and Tokoyami appear with a jetpack. I growl under my breath.

    Midoryia and the other three students attempt to grab my headband but I duck and shoot my blue fire at them, which tinges their uniforms. They fall back to the ground where most of the students are fighting each other for the headbands to gain some type of point value.

    Suddenly Bakugo flies up with his explosions. I roll my eyes, and touch Shoto- giving him the three finger signal I told him about. He touches the ground and vines break through the concrete and grab Bakugo before he can get close to us.

    I makes the vines place Bakugo away from his team.

    "And it seems team Bakugo is out since Bakugo is so far away from his team!" Midnight announces.

    Bakugo glares up at me, "I'll get you back for that (Y/N)!"

    "Wait Midnight, will they still be fighting in the next round?" I call out, she nods and I take a breath.

    Realizing that keeping the earth up like this for so long was tiring me, I drop us down to ground level with the other teams.

    "Do you guys want to show off some quirks?" I ask.

    Iida smiles, "I think that Midoryia would love to see a little ultimate move I've been working on, but it will make me useless to you all for a while."

    "That's alright, I think I know exactly what it is anyways." I respond, "I can maneuver around us after."

    Iida nods and as Midoryia's team approach us, I can hear the rev of his calve engines. He tells us to hold on tight and suddenly, we're holding most of team Midoryia's headbands, I take a breath.

    Present Mic gasps, "Where did that sudden power come from!? Why didn't Idia use that power during the obstacle course?!"

    "Nice job Iida!" I squeal, freezing the ground to keep the other teams at bay.

    "We have sixty seconds left!" Midnight yells.
