The boys begged there dad but he was not budging. Conrad was fuming. Him and his father had been on tin ice for awhile now but without Susannah it has got worse. Conrad blamed his dad for leaving his mother when she needed him.

I stared at Belly. As much as Susannah made them feel like family they weren't. We needed to leave. Just I was about to say we needed to get going the front door opened. I turned thinking it was my friends coming in to see what was taking so long. I was half right my three friends where coming in but there was two tag alongs. Taylor and Steven were coming in carrying muffins.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked turning towards my brother. "What are you doing here?" Steven asked me. "I came to pick up Belly" I say. "About that" Belly said. I turn towards my twin sister. "I just said that to get you down here" Belly said. My eyes go wide. "What!" I yell. "We need to save Susannah's house" Belly says.

I can't believe her. She made me come all the way to cousins thinking she needed me to pick her up. "I can't believe you lied to me!" I say angrily. "Please em we have to help" Belly begged. I sighed looking at the boys. "Do you want us to stay?" I ask. Jeremiah shrugged. Conrad stared at me for a second his eyes go soft. He nods his head yes. "Fine I'll stay" I say smiling faintly at Conrad.

I walked over to my friends who were all sitting in the corner watching. "If you guys want to go home you can take my car" I tell them. "Are you kidding me we are enjoying the show!" Ben whispered to me. I roll my eyes at him.

All of us sat on the couch for a moment we can forget about the house selling. Belly put on one of Susannah's favorite movie. I laid my head on Baileys shoulder. I was so tired I fell asleep right then and there.

I woke up to my big brother carrying me to my room. I felt someone getting into bed next to me it was my best friend Bailey. It felt like when we were little staying at the beach house during the summer and Bailey would come visit for the weekend. I fell asleep in my old summer bed feeling the nostalgia.
