Chapter 5-FIGHTS AND COPS

Steven reluctantly walked away. "Well I'm glad you girls came!" Jeremiah smiled at us. "Glad someone is" i mutter under my breath.

"Hey I'm gonna go explore a little" belly says. "Ok don't go to far" I say. She nods and walks off.

"So you wanna dance" Jeremiah smiles at me. "Sure" I say smiling. We go out and dance for a bit. Jeremiah is a really good dancer in fact he taught me how to dance when we where little. After we finished we went and sat down.

"I've missed you" I say honestly. "I missed you too" he says smiling at me. Oh god there are the butterfly's that I always get whenever Jeremiah Fisher is around.

"I'm really glad you came" he says witch causes me to end up with the biggest smile on my face. We look at each other. I could stare into his beautiful blue eyes all day every day.

But of course the moment of us just looking at each other didn't last long. I heard fighting behind me and turned around to see Conrad and the creep from earlier fighting.

"Oh shit" Jeremiah says getting up quickly. Then I see my sister trying to separate the fight then she gets hit and once again is in the sand.

I run towards her "omg belly are you ok!" I call out while running towards her. I go and help her up there was also a boy helping her up.

"You alright?" I ask my twin. Jeremiah had gone to try and separated the fight. Then we hear someone yell "COPS!" and everyone starts taking off.

I helped Jeremiah get Conrad who was wasted. Jeremiah helped him into the car as I got in the passenger seat. Belly and the boy stood outside.

Jeremiah got into the car then looked over at belly. "Ok belly let's go" he says. "Cam can take me home" she says looking at the guy.

"Hell no belly you don't know him!" I say. There was no way I was gonna let her go home with some guy she barley knew.

"Get in the car belly!" Jeremiah looked pissed. "Are you guys serious" belly sassed. "Yes" I say. "Belly just get in the car" Conrad said. Of course cuz Conrad says something she decides to get in the damn car.

She says goodbye to cam they share a little kiss and Jeremiah looks pissed. I look down and start playing with my bracelet.

It was a simple clothe homemade bracelet but it meant the world to me. However the bracelet was getting old and was starting to break.

Once belly got in the car we start to leave then Jeremiah stops. "Damit Steven!" He yells hitting his steering wheel then get out to find him.

When he leaves I notice Conrad playing with belly's hair and mumbling something to her. Witch was really cute. But then I hear someone tap on my window. I jump and scream.

"Have you guys been drinking" a cop asks. Well shit. Soon we are all being taken home by a cop great my mom is gonna love this.

"Officers thank you it won't happen again I can promise you that much" my mom says to the cops. "Tell Mr. fisher chief wants to set up a tea time when he gets back in town" the officer says. "Of course! Sorry again for all the trouble" my mom fake smiles.

All of us where standing in a line at the doorway except Conrad who was sitting on the bench.

I was standing next to Jeremiah who was leaning against the wall. I was slightly leaning on him. Steven was in between belly and I.

As soon as the cop leaves my mom starts to yell at all of us. "What where you kids thinking!" She yelled.

"Look they prolly just wanted to break up the bomb fire it isn't a big deal" Steven says. It looks could kill Steven would be dead. "Not a big deal?" My mother questions. "Yes" Steven says. "I would say getting picked up by the cops for underage drinking is pretty big deal Steven" my mom lectures.

"W-where you guys smoking tonight" Steven smirked. "What! Keep your voice down Susannah is asleep on the couch" my mom deflects. "What y-you where the one-" Steven try's to say but Jeremiah cuts him off.

"I didn't drink I was the DD I swear" Jeremiah says to my mom witch didn't seem to impress her.

"Your the oldest" she looks at Conrad. "What the hells gotten into you?" She asks.

"And when did you two leave the house without telling anyone" she says to belly and I. "And what are you both wearing!" She asked. "It's Taylor's" belly mumbled trying to cover herself with her jacket.

"Why are we the only ones who are not aloud to go out?" I ask. "It's not that your not aloud it is that you didn't ask" she replied.

"How did you two even get there?" She asked. "We walked" I mumbled. "Jesus! You both know better to walk down that beach alone late at night!" Mom says.

"Can you stop treating us like kids!" Belly yells. "If you wanna be treated like adults act like ones" mom snaps back. "Maybe you guys should to" Conrad speaks up. It goes silent for a moment

"what dose that mean?" My mom asks Conrad. Conrad just shrugged and looked away.

"I hope you all realize tonight could have been different if your family wasn't your family" my mom says.

"Where sorry Laurel" Jeremiah says. My mom sighs "just go to bed guys" she says. We all leave.

I went and got some frozen peas for belly. I walked into her room. "Hey bells I got you these for your face" I say handing her the peas.

"Thanks em" she says. "So cam? So you like him?" I ask. "I mean ya kinda he is super sweet and I think it's time to get over Conrad he has that other girl I don't stand a chance" belly sighs.

"Well I hope cam will make you happy and it is Conrad's lose you are literally stunning" I complement my sister. "Thanks I look like my sister" she smirks. I smile at her little complement back at me. "Well good night belly" I say while walking out. "Good night em" she responds.
