In the morning I was woken up to my mom taking a picture of us. "Momm" I groan. "Hmm" Susannah hummed tiredly. "She is taking pictures of us" I tadal on my mother like I was 2.
"Laurel" Susannah says. "What you two looked so cute curled up" my mom says.

"Well you better get up or your gonna be late for dance lessons" Susannah reminded me. "Oh right I almost forgot about that!" I say hoping off the couch. "You got a partner?" Susannah asked me. "No" I sigh.

I really didn't know who to ask the only boys I really knew in cousins where my brother and the fisher boys. I was NOT going to go with Steven and Conrad was going with Nichole and even if he wasn't belly would shave my head if I went with him then there was Jeremiah the guy I wanted to go with but he would hate the whole experience and he would rather be going with belly.

"You need to get a date Emma" Susannah lectured. I knew she was right. "Susannah I don't know who to ask" I say honestly. "Well you can ask Jere like I told you last night" Susannah said. "Beck is right Jeremiah would go with you" my mom said. Great now I had both of them trying to guilt me into asking Jeremiah. I shrug.

"Well I gotta go get ready don't wanna be late" I say. I quickly start to walk upstairs. "Don't forget to eat breakfast!" My mother yelled to me. I ignored her and actually didn't eat.

I get to practice and belly and I both didn't have dates so we had to dance together. Witch was a train reck. Nicole tried to help us but we where a lost cause. Belly stepped on my foot. "Ow" I say hunching over a bit. "I'm so sorry" belly apologized.

Then Jeremiah walked over to us. My heart stoped. "Lady's" he smiles at both of us. "Can I have this dance?" He asked. "Ya she is all yours" I say. A bit of me wished he was asking me to dance but of course he was asking belly.

"Your foot alright?" Nicole asked me. "Ya I'm alright" I say. "Well I'll fill in for now" Nicole smiled at me.

Steven had thrown Jeremiah a jacket. My eyes couldn't help but keep going to Jeremiah and Belly.

Nicole noticed. "You ok?" She asked. I looked away from my sister and my crush. "I told you my foot is fine" I fake a smile. I wasn't lying my foot was fine my heart though that was what wasn't fine. Nicole gave me a look. "I wasn't talking about your foot" she said. I sighed.

"Then what are you talking about" I ask acting like I don't know. "I'm not dumb Emma I seen you staring at them" she said looking over at Jeremiah and belly.

"Well I mean it's hard seeing him dancing with my sister after we kissed yesterday" I shrug. "You kissed!" Nicole shouted. "Yes now keep your voice down!" I hissed. "Ok ok" Nicole said talking quieter. "You kissed Jeremiah Fisher!" She whisper yelled. "Yes but he hasn't talk to me since" I say.

Nicole frowned. "Those fisher boys can be confusing can't they" Nicole said. That's when it hit me Conrad almost kissed belly last night. I felt a pit in my stomach. Poor Nicole.

Then after awhile of practicing the Walt's Jeremiah must of got bored. "Hey Alexa play so pretty" He said. The speaker started playing the pop song.

Jeremiah danced around them came over towards me and spun. My heart started to skip a beat until he went back to Belly and started dancing with her.

I tried to dance with Nicole and have a good time act like my heart wasn't breaking.

Soon Jeremiah got kicked out. Then Conrad showed up. He waved at Nicole wait no maybe he waved at Belly. Wow that seemed....messy. After that awkward moment Nicole turned to me. 

"Ugh I need to use the restroom" I say. I was not feeling good. I not only felt light headed I also felt noshes. I walked to the bathroom. Before I knew it I was dry heaving into the toilet. Oh god I really should have ate this morning.

I hear the door open but I don't get up. I sit in the locked stall. "Emma?" I hear a voice. I knew that voice it was Conrad.

"Ya I'm fine Conrad" I say leaning over to puke some more. "No your not I know your dry heaving in there" he said. When I didn't say anything he spoke again. "I know you didn't eat breakfast and now your stressing because you don't have a date and the boy you want to be your date is dancing with your sister" Conrad said.

"Conrad how have you always known about my crush?" I ask. "He's my brother your like my little sister....wow that sounds weird" Conrad laughed. "I mean no one would put up with that much shit if there not head over heals plus you get this look in your eyes" Conrad said. "That obvious?" I ask. "To everyone but Jere" Conrad said. "But enough about my stupid brother let's go get you some food" Conrad said.

I got up and unlocked the door. "I look like shit" I say. "I can only be so nice" Conriad joked. I pushed him playfully.

We went to go get some food. "Hey Steven can we get a club and fries?" Conrad asked my brother. "Oh god Emma you look like hell" Steven says. "Thank you my loving brother" I say rolling my eyes. Conrad laughed. "Now get me my damn sandwich" I say. "Emma here didn't eat breakfast then dry heaved during waltz class" Conrad informs my brother. "Dumbass" Steven laughed. "I will kill you" I threatened. Both boys laugh.

Jeremiah came over where we were sitting. "Hey e you ok?" He asks. "ya ya I am fine" I say. I did not really want to talk to Jeremiah about how I had skipped breakfast and have been stressing about getting a date to the ball then I saw him with my sister and I fell apart. That conversion did not sound fun so I put on a fake smile. "You sure you didn't look to good in dance rehearsal" Jeremiah pointed out.

Conrad gave me a look. "I woke up late didn't eat breakfast as soon as I eat I'll be fine" I say. Luckily my food was out fast. I ate as quickly as I could. I didn't want to be at the country club for another minute.

As soon as I was done eating I said goodbye to my brother and Jeremiah and Conrad took me home.
