Chapter 15-BYE TAYLOR BYE BAILEY

I stared at the wall thousand of thoughts going through my mind. I was so embarrassed last night I made a total fool of myself.

I was staring at the wall thinking until Bailey slugged in just as hungover as I was. "Morning" she groaned plopping down on the bed next to me. "Morning" I say laying down with her.

"Jeremiah slept in here with me last night" I say. Bailey sat up and looked at me smiling. "Really!" She squealed. "Don't get to exited he only stayed cuz I begged him to" I say. Bailey shrugged laying back down "he still stayed" she said.

Taylor came in a little later with water and pain meds for the two of us. "Thanks tay your a life savior" I say taking the pills.

"So I heard you kissed my brother" I say. "Are you mad?" She asked. "No of course not I kinda always knew you had a crush on Steven" I shrugged. "You knew?!" She asked shocked. "I mean it was kinda obvious" I shrugged and Bailey agreed.

"How did you two know and Belly didn't?" She asked. "I don't know belly isn't the most observant" I shrug. Bailey and Taylor both agreed.

"Belly won't even talk to me!" Taylor sighs. "Do you want me to talk to her for you?" Bailey asked. Taylor noded and Bailey was off to talk to belly.

"Come here" I say patting the bed. Taylor sat next to me. "As gross as it is for someone to like my brother and as much as I don't want to know the details your my friend so like spill I'll try not puke" I say. Taylor laughs.

"It was a good kiss it was what I wanted since I was little but belly walked in and freaked out" she says. I smile for a second then my smile drops."and belly told me that he has this thing with this Shayla girl" Taylor adds. I totally forgot about Shayla.

"Oh tay I'm so sorry my brother is stupid" I say. We hug. "Thank you for being here em" she says. "I'm always here" I tell her.

Soon it was time to leave. Bailey and Taylor were going home. I got out of the car with both of them.

I gave Taylor a hug first. "Bye tay" I say. "If you need to talk about Steven or belly just call me" I  tell her she nods. "Bye em I'm gonna miss you" she says and gives me a big hug. "I'm gonna miss you too" I say.

Belly starts walking towards us slowly. Taylor and I pull apart. "Come on Bailey" I said grabbing my best friends hand and leading her away from my sister and Taylor.

"I'm gonna miss you Emmy loo" Bailey laughed. "I'm gonna miss you more Bay" I laugh. We hugged.

"Get out of the house more please last time you did you got kissed by your crush don't let your summer slip away" I tell her she nods.

"Tell Jeremiah how you feel don't hide in belly's shadow this summer" Bailey tell me me I nod "I'll try" I say.

Soon Taylor and belly come over and belly says a quick goodbye to Bailey and Taylor and Bailey get on the bus. Belly and I walked back to the car.

Once we got home I went to find Steven we had to talk about what happened this morning and I wanted to ask him some questions about Taylor.

I found him longing out by the pool. "Hey Steven can we talk?" I asked. "About this morning" I add on.

"Ya" he says. "Listen Jere and I talked and I know that nothing happened last night and I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions" Steven apologizes. "It's ok I get that Jeremiah and I are getting older and we can't just share a bed and expect no one to ask questions" I say.

"Ya but Emma why did you want Jere to stay?" Steven asked me. "I don't know I was drunk and just didn't want to be alone" I shrug.

"I wish you would come to me when your scared to be alone" Steven says honestly. "I'm your big brother I want to be there for you" he says. I sadly smile at him. "Please let me be there for you" Steven says.

I hug him. "I'll let you be there for me" I say. We hug for awhile till I pull away.

"So you kissed Taylor" I say sitting on the lounge chair next to him. "Ya I did" he mumbled. "Are you mad?" He asked. "No I'm not mad" I chuckle.

"So do you like Taylor or do you like Shayla?" I ask. "I don't like Taylor" Steven says. "I like Shayla I want to be with Shayla" Steven tells me.

"Then why did you kiss tay?" I ask. "I don't know Shayla is used to guys who are rich and can treat her like a princess" Steven says. "You can treat her like a princess without having a bunch of money" I tell him. We talked for awhile then I went inside.

That night I woke up at 2am and felt like someone was watching me I got up and went into Steven's room. "Steven" I whispered. "Hmm" he hummed. "Can I sleep in here?" I ask. "Ya come here" he said scooting over.
