Chapter 12-KISSES

Bailey was the only person who I have admitted that I have a crush on Jeremiah.

However Conrad had just always assumed I liked him. According to him I'm not very good at hiding my feelings.

Flashback
Belly and Emma were 8 years old Jeremiah and Steven where 9 and Conrad was 10.

They where at the beach with there  moms.

Laurel was reading a book. Belly and Susannah where looking at shells. Steven and Jeremiah where rough housing in the water. Emma was building a sand castle with Conrad.

Conrad was doing most of the work Emma was to busy looking at Jeremiah.

This summer She has felt weird around him. Every time he is around her she gets nervous.

She was sitting staring at him when Conrad started chuckling.

"You know it is rude to stare Emma" Conrad chuckles. "I'm not staring" Emma defends. "You where so staring at Jere" Conrad calls her bluff. "No I wasn't!" Emma pouted. "It's ok em your secret is safe with me" Conrad smirked
End of flashback
                       
From that day on Conrad has teased me about my crush. I have always denied it. I rolled my eyes at Conrad. "I was not hot" I say. "Mmmm sure" he smirked.

"Ok well let's play a real game" belly says. "Ya I'm down!" Jeremiah grind then threw belly back into the water. Thank god she was off of him!

We all got ready to play volleyball. Taylor, Belly, and Bailey where on a team. Steven Jeremiah and I where on a team. Nicole and Conrad sat on the side to watch.

All of us girls where really good at volleyball. I was definitely on the losing team. We where playing and the girls where kicking our asses. I didn't mind tho I was still having fun.

"Your slipping Steven" Taylor teased Steven just rolled his eyes at her. I laugh she was so right Steven was good at volleyball but not as good as Taylor, Belly and Bailey. 

It was so much fun even tho we where not as good as the girls we still held our own.

It was all fun and games until Taylor went to serve and it hit Nicole in the face.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry" Taylor apologizes. "Taylor!" Belly lectures her. I roll my eyes. "It was a ascendent" Taylor says. "I'm so sorry are you ok?" Belly asks. "Ya I'm fine you guys keep playing" Nicole says and starts to go inside. Conrad goes with her.

"Ok I'm gonna go tan" I say not wanting to be apart of this anymore. "I'm coming with you! Bailey says and we go and lay down and soak in the sun.

"Wanna take a walk on the beach?" I ask. Bailey and I both loved walking on the beach and collecting sea shells. "Of course I do!" She says excitedly.

We get a beach bag that we can fill with sea shells. We where walking in the sand bare foot.

"So how has your summer been?" I ask. "It has been fun" she shrugged. We talked about everything that we have missed in each others lives since being apart for the summer.

Bailey wasn't a huge party person but Taylor had dragged her to some. Witch I mentally thanked her for it was good for Bailey to get out of the house once in awhile. Bailey was probably also mentally thanking Taylor because at one of those party's she finally kissed josh.

"Sooo I want all the details of you and Josh's kiss" I say excitedly. She told me about it over FaceTime but she didn't say much other then where and when it happened.

"I don't really remember it" she says clearly lying. "Don't lie to me bay!" I say. "Fine!" She gives in. "We where at the party dancing and he said I looked really good then he leaned in and kissed me" she tells me. "Ooo swoon" I laugh.

"I can't believe you haven't talked about it" I complained. "You and Jeremiah didn't talk about your first kiss" she points out.

"It was a dare and we where 13" I say rolling my eyes at her. "Ya but you said it was a life changing kiss even tho it was your first kiss" Bailey laughed. "Oh shut up I was dramatic back then" I say. "You still are" she giggled. 

Flashback
It was belly and Emma's 13th birthday Taylor and Bailey both came down to celebrate. It was the first year they where aloud to come to cousins.

They where playing truth or dare witch was of course Taylor's idea.
It was the 4 girls and the 3 boys. "I dare you Jeremiah to kiss your favorite person in the room" Taylor smirked expecting him to kiss Steven.

Steven even thought he was gonna get kissed. "I quit and I'm leaving!" Steven announced. "No fun!" Taylor pouted.

"I wasn't gonna chose you anyway" Jeremiah scoffed. He got up and walked towards Emma.

Her heart was racing. He leaned in and left a peck on my lips.

Looking back it was a small little peck but back then Emma was over the moon.

"Omg! Emma just had her first kiss!" Taylor squealed in excitement.

Emmas face went red 'what if I wasn't a good kisser' She thought to myself. Jeremiah chuckled. "It was my first kiss to" he said.

"I can't believe you got your first kiss before me!" Belly pouts jokingly making Emma laugh.

"Ok now I'm really leaving I did not want to see my best friend and my little sister have there first kiss together" Steven said with disgust in his voice. "It was just a peck" Conrad said rolling his eyes.

Bailey was the only one not to speak she just kept giving Emma eyes.

Once they where alone in Emma's room Bailey let her excitement out. "You kissed Jeremiah Fisher!" Bailey squealed.

"I did!" Emma laughed. "How was it?" She asked. "It was life changing!" Emma said smiling.
