Chapter 11-Jealousy

Finally Jeremiah broke the awkward silence that was lingering.

"Ugh so it's about time to get Bailey and Taylor do you guys wanna practice driving?" Jeremiah asks. Ofc belly and I agreed right away.

We go driving. Belly and Jeremiah where being a little to close for my liking. Oh god listen to me being Jealous of my own sister.

We get to the train station and Taylor comes running to us. She run and hugs belly first "belly!" She squealed. "Happy birthday!" She yells smiling.

Then she turned to me. "Happy birthday em!" She squealed giving me a hug.

"Hey Jeremy" she says acting like she forgot his name. We sat there talking and waiting for Bailey.

Finally Bailey had arrived. I bolted towards her. She ingolved me in a hug. "Happy birthday em!" She yelled smiling at me. "I missed you" I gush. "I missed you too" She smiled.

We let go of each other and Bailey gave belly a hug and told her happy birthday.

She greated Taylor with a hug. It was nice for all four of us to be together again. Our group was back and it felt great.

Bailey said hi to Jeremiah and gave him a quick hug.

We all stoped at the ice cream shop and shared a banana split. We all giggled and talked.

Belly and Jeremiah sat together and I noticed them basically flirting they where being touching and cute with each other I did not like that. I hated when they flirted but I also hated hating it.

Bailey gave me a look. I know she noticed it to. I mean hell Taylor noticed them flirting but ofc Taylor was very pleased by there flirting cuz she has no clue I had a massive crush on Jeremiah.

I feel my phone ting. I checked it. Bailey had texted me

Bay<3 -you ok?

Em<3 - ya

I looked up at her and noded."Oh your guy's gift" Taylor says and pulls out town little gift bags. "Open them!" She said excitedly. We both opened it and  we both got cute bikinis. Belly got a purple bikini. I got a green one.

"Thank you tay" I say gratefully. "I love it" I tell her. "I knew you would" she smiled.

"Belly is never gonna wear that" Jeremiah cuts in. "Actually I love it thank you tay tay" belly smiled. "Your welcome girls you both are gonna look so hot!" Taylor tell us excitedly.

"I also got you girls a gift" Bailey says. She pulls out two presents. We both opened them.

She had got belly a sea shell  necklace. "Since your old one broke" Bailey said.
Belly broke her other necklace this winter and she was heartbroken.

I opened mine and saw a ring. It was beautiful. It had a sun on it. "Oh it is so pretty" I say putting it on. Bailey smiled and showed me her ring. It has a moon on it. I smiled at her.

These rings describe us perfectly. I was the sun and Bailey was the moon.

I loved the day the sun the heat and Bailey loved the night the stars the moon the chill. Opposites really do attract.

I gave her a hug "thank you" I say. "Ok so what is the plan for tonight? Where's the party?" Taylor asks. It was no surprise Taylor loves party's!

"Well Susannah always plans a big lobster dinner" belly said. Both belly and I loved lobster.

"Boring no it is your guys sweet 16th we have to go out" Taylor insisted. "No no these dinners are so fun" I interject.

"And Susannah has the idea to make it midsummer themed" Belly gushed. "So she got flower crowns made for it!" I add.

Taylor didn't seem to impressed. "Don't you think you guys should celebrate your birthday with pools your age" Taylor asks.

"That's why you and Bailey are here" I joke. "Hello am I invisible" Jeremiah asked pretending to be offended. "And I guess Steven" Taylor added ignoring Jeremiah. "I mean maybe Conrad but he is getting old" I say smirking at Jeremiah.

"Oh and I invited cam" belly added. "Yay I'm so exited to meet the guy that finally got you to take your eyes off of you know who" Taylor says.

Bailey and I look at each other knowingly. "Taylor" Belly groans eying Jeremiah.

The table goes silent for a second till Jeremiah once again saves the day. "I have a idea we can go to Nicole's party tonight" Jeremiah suggested.

"Yes! Who is Nicole?" Taylor asks witch makes Bailey and I giggle.

"She's my big sister for the deb ball she is super cool" Belly says. "Ya she is awesome" I add in.

Soon we where leaving and Taylor called shot gun. I sat in between belly and Bailey.

Once we got home we all decided we had to go swimming. We all start getting ready.

Belly and Taylor went to belly's room and Bailey and I went to mine.

We where all really close friends but Bailey was my best friend and Taylor was belly's.

I put on my new swim suit that Taylor gave me. It fit me well I loved it. "You look sexy" Bailey complimented me. I smiled at her. "So do you" I replied. She smiled even bigger.

"I missed you em" Bailey said giving me a hug. "I missed you bay" I say back. We stood there hugging for awhile.

When we pulled away she looked at me her smile drops. "Do you want to talk about belly and Jeremiah?" She asks.

I sigh "ya" I mumbled. "So what is up with them?" Bailey asked. "I don't know they have just been all flirty this summer" I tell her.

"Isn't belly like head over heels for Conrad?" Bailey asked. I noded. "And she went on a date with this guy named cam" I say. "I'm all for her to have a hot girl summer but can't she leave Jere alone" I add.

Bailey looked at me with pitty. "I'm sorry" she frowned. "I thought this summer he might notice me I changed a lot but of course no he notices my twin sister" I say.

Bailey hugged me. "What's wrong with me bay?" I ask. "Why am I not good enough for him?" I ask.

Bailey pulled away and looked me dead in the eye. "He's stupid your perfect" Bailey resured.

We hugged again then went down to the pool.

"So how is josh?" I ask. Josh is a guy that Bailey had been crushing on for like forever almost like Jeremiah and I.

"He's doing good the whole friend group misses you" Bailey says.

"Well that's good but we both know that wasn't what I was talking about" I say back. "I mean what has happened since he kissed you?" I ask.

A few weeks ago Bailey had called me over joyed that Josh has finally kissed her at our friend Molly's party.

"Ugh we really haven't talked about it" she said sheepishly. "Bailey!" I yell at her. "What we where drunk it probably didn't mean anything he might not even remember it" Bailey rambles. "Talk to him" I say sternly.

We go outside and see everyone playing chicken. Taylor was on Steven's shoulders and belly was on Jeremiah's shoulders.

Bailey and I both looked at each other.

Belly and Jeremiah win. They do more flirting witch makes me want to cry.

Then Nicole and Conrad walk in. "Are you guys playing chicken?" Nicole asks. Belly get embarrassed. "Ugh ya it was Taylor idea" she blames still sitting on Jeremiah's shoulders.

I was getting more jealous the longer she sat on his shoulder. I didn't like how his hands where on her thighs.

I guess Conrad noticed my jealousy cuz he picked me up and threw in the pool.

"Conrad!" I screamed when I came up for air. "What you looked like you needed to cool down" he said
