taeyong was holding the cake, and mark was beside him.

"you dorks." donghyuck laughed at how they looked. they were even wearing party hats with cartoon character prints on it.

he stood up and went near them. he stopped when he was already in front of taeyong, who was holding the cake. he closed his eyes and made a wish. i wish that mark, my friends, and i are always happy. i wish for my success in the future, and same with neo. i hope they would get the recognition they deserve.

he blew the candle and everyone clapped their hands, like a mother when their baby just had his first walk.

"i didn't know you guys would also bring me cake." he laughed. "thank you, everyone." he smiled.

"love." mark called.

hyuck turned to him and smiled, "yes, love?"

"all of us might have lied to you." mark smiled sheepishly as he showed a v sign.

"huh?" just then, three people entered the room with another cake. "you guys told me that you weren't coming!!!" donghyuck immediately engulfed the three in a hug.

"of course we'll come for our baby hyuckie." ten laughed and ruffled hyuck's hair.

"okay stop your mini gathering before someone loses control." johnny chuckled and pulled his boyfriend away from them.

mark raised a brow, as if offended with what he said. "excuse you i'm not that possessive?" he laughed.

"okay you two stop that." taeyong said, getting everyone's attention. "let's start in giving the messages?" he said and everyone replied a "yes" as they sat on the floor.

"to our full sun haechannie," taeyong started, earning a lot of boo's from the audience.

"this is so corny, i wanna cry." hyuck said, wiling invisible tears which made taeyong laughed. this kid is really mischievous at some times.

"happy birthday, i never thought that we would be able to know you, and be close to our number one fans, which is you, and your friends." taeyong laughed. "well, it's all thanks to mark's narcissistic ass."

"hyung i'm not a narcissist!" mark said, defending himself.

"love, let taeyong hyung finish." donghyuck said, pulling mark down so that he would sit beside him again.

mark pouted, "fine."

"i wish you all the best, and more patience in tolerating mark."

"hyung, i'm this close in leaving you guys here!" mark said.

donghyuck chuckled, "love, come on you're being no fun again."

"fine, fine... it's your birthday anyways." mark kissed his lover's nose.

the wishing segment lasted for a good hour, and finally, it was mark's turn.

"okay, mic test, mic test." he tapped the green plastic mic, which served as their microphone. "to my sun, lee donghyuck, happy birthday." he smiled at his lover who was smiling at him.

"i know that sometimes we argue, and i always lose." he chuckled. "but thank you for being always there for me. thank you, because you never gave up on me, even before we met formally."

"remember when we used to talk through the fan account i made? and you would always fanboy about us, more specifically me?" mark laughed.

"yah, stop! you're embarrassing me!" donghyuck said, hiding his face.

"aigoo, so cute." mark cooed. "that's when i realized that... that was our effect to fans. and that's when i realized that i'm starting to like you."

"time really flies fast, and a couple of days left until we reach our first year together." mark smiled. "happy birthday, donghyuck-ah... i love you."

"thank you, mark lee. i love you too." donghyuck said and did a heart gesture.

everyone clapped their hands, teasing the shit out of mark again.

mark just laughed, already getting used to it. "by the way, love,"

"huh?"

"when are you telling them?" mark asked.

donghyuck then stood up and went towards him, "oh right."

he took a deep breath before saying something. "we have a surprise."

"don't tell me you're pregnant?!" renjun asked.

"no, you fucker!" he immediately went towards renjun and hit his shoulders. "how many times do i have to tell you to stop being jeno and jaemin's third wheel?!"

"third wheel?" jaemin raised a brow

"what?" donghyuck snapped at jeno.

"he isn't third wheeling." jaemin said.

everyone gasped, and as if on cue, donghyuck stopped hitting renjun's shoulders. he looked at the three. "well of course you are." he scoffed, not believing what he heard.

"the three of us are going out almost three months now..." jaemin said, smiling sheepishly while scratching his nape.

"and you didn't tell us?!" johnny said, offended.

"s-surprise?" renjun chuckled nervously.

donghyuck sighed as he went towards mark. "anyways, it's your decision and life, i shouldn't meddle with it." he smiled. "congrats to the three of you!!!!" he cheered and clapped his hands.

"going back to what i was about to say earlier..." he stared. "i, lee donghyuck, together with jisung, chenle, jeno, renjun and jaemin, are now working under the same label as you guys."

"you aren't kidding, right?" winwin asked.

donghyuck shook his head, "mark was there when the six of us signed our contracts."

"oh my gosh, hyuck, we're so happy for you!!"

"thank you, kun-hyung." he smiled.

"love, i'm so proud of you." mark smiled and hugged the younger.
