It took about 10 minutes for the email to come through, I opened it and smiled, then we left the mall and I headed home, I was on a flight in 4 hours to Florida, I needed to pack, after packing my suitcase, I packed my carry on bag and made sure I had everything I needed, cellphone, laptop, iPod, headphones, and chargers. I checked my wallet and walked to my safe, bending down I unlock it and take out a stack of cash that I had been saving up for something fun, figured it would help me in Florida, I put it in my wallet, made sure all my cards were in there, then smiled at my bestie,

"Take care of my pup while I'm gone, you know He loves you, fridge is stocked with food, emergency card for food is in the cabinet, have fun!"

We hugged and then I left the house, put my stuff in the backseat and got into my car and headed to the airport, I parked and grabbed my stuff. Then I locked my car up and walked into the airport, I took my printed ticket and handed it to the lady and she smiled,

"Checking your suitcase?"

I nodded and smiled back at her "Yes please."

She took it and handed me my ticket back then I went through security, I had a first class ticket, my first time in first class, I walked to an empty seat near a guy that looked harmless, he was busy looking at his phone texting when I got a random text from a unknown number,

I put my phone in my purse and handed the lady my ticket, she handed it back and smiled,

"Have a great flight!"

I smiled at her and walked into the tunnel and onto the plane, I entered first class and looked for my seat, I sat down, I put my stuff on the seat next to me, then looked out the window, I loved the window seat but hated heights. I pulled out my cell, placing it on airplane mode as I hear a voice,

"Do you mind if I sit here?"

I look up and see G-Eazy standing there,
I nod as I move my stuff,

"No, go ahead."

"Thank you," he says as he sits down.

"You're welcome," I smile at him then look out the window.

"I'm Gerald," he says causing me to look at him.

"I'm Lacey, yeah I kind of recognized you," I smile at him, as a flight attendant walked by.

I buckled my seatbelt, as did Gerald before he said, "Weird I accidentally texted a girl named Lacey thinking she was my ex Devin."

I tried to keep from laughing, "oh yeah."

He could tell I was hiding something, I busted out laughing as he asked, " Is this your number?"

He showed me his phone, I nodded,
"Yeah, it is that was you texting me? You're the 3rd wrong number to text me last one was Conor Maynard first was some guy named Nate."

"Well you have my number now, don't be a stranger, come here," he pulled me closer and snapped a selfie of us.

"What's your Instagram?" He asked looking at me.

"LaceysAnatomy," I replied back to him, as he posted it and tagged me.

My cell chimed with WiFi, then a few Instagram notifications, it was a picture of us smiling with the caption, This girl should be an actress, she fooled me so good! On a flight to Florida and she's my seat buddy! This shall be fun!

I liked it and commented on it, Oh why thank you Gerald! It's a pleasure to meet one of my 2 favorite rappers!

He looked at me after he read the comment, putting his phone on airplane mode then away, I put mine away too and he said,

"Well it's crazy that you live in LA and are in first class to Florida with me, where you headed?"

"Tampa to meet Conor Maynard for a music video, he asked me to replace the main girl that gave him my number instead of hers," I replied smiling.

"No shit, I am there for a few weeks for a new video but lost my main girl, would you be interested after your done with Conor?" He asked me, while smiling a dreamy smile at me.

"Sure, I'll text you when we finish the final filming, should only be a week." I said smiling more.

"Sounds good," he said to me before he plane started moving.

I instantly grabbed the seat accidentally grabbing Gerald's hand, which I quickly pulled away,

"I'm sorry."

He grabbed my hand back and squeezed it gently, "it's okay, have a rough time when the plane takes off?"

I nodded, "Yeah, I was in a plane crash a few years ago and nearly died."

He squeezed my hand again and then just held it, "That's scary."

I just nodded and looked out the window, he kept holding my hand even after the plane leveled out into the sky and we were thousands of miles into the air. After an hour I fell asleep, listening to my iPod, when I woke up I didn't realize I was leaning on Gerald, I sat up and took my headphones out as a flight attendant asked us,

"Anything to drink?"

"My usual, and whatever she wants," Gerald says smiling at her.

"Rum and coke please," I replied, smiling.

"Thank you, sorry I fell asleep on you."

He smiled at me, "Don't worry about it I was asleep for a little bit too, I see you are a really big fan, I could hear all my songs while you were asleep."

"Yeah, I have been to a few of your concerts, just never thought I would ever meet you." I say as I pull out my phone.

I put it on camera mode and lean over, "mind a picture for your contact one?"

He smiled and shook his head, "no go ahead."

I leaned close to him, our heads were close and I snapped the picture and set it as his contact one. The rest of the flight we got to know each other, it was incredible by the time we landed in Florida I knew so much about him and he knew everything about me.
