Chan is next to notice Felix.

He is wearing a short-sleeved, black T-shirt with a bag slung over his shoulder. His messy white-blonde hair covers his forehead and his muscles are slightly visible, but his whole image screams soft boy.

He walks – almost waddles– towards the bench Hyunjin and Jeongin had their bags set. They widen their eyes upon seeing Felix, and when Felix turns the other way, they whip their heads to look at Chan. He looks back with an expression that says Keep it cool. It was either that or If you screw up you won't live to see the next day. They can't tell.

"Minho hyung!" Felix shouts, running over to him and Seungmin.

"Hey."

"Hi."

Felix notes their lack of energy. "Thanks for the hearty welcome, really appreciate it."

"Sorry, it's just that it's a Monday, you know?" Seungmin says.

Minho nods. "Yeah. You're like the only person with this much energy."

"Literally everyone should have this much energy. It's so pretty outside!" 

Minho and Seungmin look at the window on the other side of the room, then back at Felix. They blink as Felix looks out the window as well, only to see wind sending branches thudding against it.

"I could've sworn it was sunny a minute ago," he mumbles, scratching the back of his neck.

His friends chuckle and finish up their stretches, Felix joining in until he hears a ding. As he fishes out his phone from his bag, he doesn't notice the look Seungmin gives Minho.

"Alright guys, gather 'round!" A voice bellows.

It was the Park Jin-young himself, calling everyone to start class. You could say he was qualified to teach, but he was mostly a dick.

As Felix makes his way towards the group in the middle of the room, someone comes from behind, roughly bumping shoulders with him. Felix yelps and the man turns to face him.

"Watch it Felix," he spits.

"You're the one who pushed past him Suho, back off." Minho steps in front of Felix protectively. As Suho walks off with a scoff, Seungmin takes Felix's hand and gives it a gentle squeeze.

Felix slightly smiles. "I'm okay."

Felix slips in between Jisung and Changbin and whispers a 'Hi'. He glances around until his eyes fall on Christopher, who looks breathtaking as always. He doesn't realize he's grinning like an idiot until Chris catches him staring. 

Crap crap crap. It takes a while for Felix to process, so by the time Felix looks at the ground, his heart is pounding just from a solid two-seconds of eye-contact. Chris cocks his head to the side.

I wonder how many times he's stared at me.

"Alright. We'll be working on the dance routine for 'ON' by BTS. This will take the next two months, maybe even more," the academy-head says.

A couple groans echo across the room. The song is good, no doubt, but the dance...

"You'll practice this in groups of seven, just so it's easier with the choreography. I'll number you guys off."

JYP lines everyone up and begins counting. He points to Suho, the first person in line, and says "1". And he advances to the next student.

"2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7."

"1." He starts over, and he's pointing at Felix this time. A one. Suho's also a one. That would mean they're in the same group. Suho doesn't realize this yet, but Felix is panicking. He can't be in the same group with him of all people. He plans to go over to JYP after class and talk to him about switching gr-

"1." 

A new group member. 

Felix leans forward to see who that may be, and he thinks he's dreaming. He has to be. There is no way.

It's Chris.

Chris, his crush. The guy he stares at 24/7. The man who he can't seem to stop thinking about. 

Felix is grinning and screaming 'YESSSS' internally. He figures he doesn't need to switch groups just yet. Not because of Chris, of course. (It was.)

Hyunjin and Jeongin are in the same group as well, but judging by the expressions of Minho and Jisung, they aren't. 

"Get into your groups and choose your roles. By that, I mean choose which member you will be representing. 1's start here, and then go on," JYP signals to one end of the room.

Felix walks, with his head down, towards the area where Chris and a few other students are already talking. As Changbin witnesses this, he smacks his forehead.

You've got to be kidding me.

Suho arrives a second after Felix.

He makes a noise of disgust and eyes the boy with disdain. "I'd rather shoot myself than be in a group with you." 

Felix is still looking down and mumbles, "Go ahead, no one's stopping you."

"The fuck did you just say you little-"

"Hey guys," Chris interrupts, oblivious to the tension between the two.

Felix breathes a sigh of relief and looks at him. "Hello," he squeaks.

"Does anyone have a preference? For which member they're going to be? I'll take J-Hope's role," Chris says.

Felix doesn't want to miss his chance, so he speaks up. "I'll take Suga." He doesn't miss the glare Suho throws at him.

The rest of his groupmates take a role, and by the end of class, they had watched the dance practice video 10 times and even took notes.

JYP claps loudly, gaining everyone's attention. "Okay, we will officially start practice tomorrow. Come prepared."

And with that, he dismisses the class, granting everyone the freedom they've been waiting for. They all pack up and head outside towards their cars. 

Felix did not have much of a chance to stare at Chris during class, so he attempts to distract himself from the disappointment by whipping out his phone.

I start 'You're Excused'.
After like two chapters, I thought of an entirely different storyline.
I'm a dumbass.
So I started a second book without finishing the first one.
