Jordyn's POV

I left my house and entered The Purple Rose Club, loud music filled my ears and caused my heart to race a bit. I headed for the bar, spotting Jace already there and looking handsome. I stop next to him, I reach my arm out and touch his shoulder with my hand,

"Jace?" I say with a smile on my face.

He turns around and looks at me, smiling instantly when he sees it's me, "Jordyn? You look beautiful!"

He took my hand off his shoulder and held onto it for a moment, then dropped it and pulled me to him. He wraps his arms around my waist, hugging me. I put my arms around his neck and hug him back. He smells good, whatever cologne he is using has me intoxicated.

"Thank you Jace, you look handsome," I say smiling up at him as we break the hug.

"No need to thank me, I'll tell you every day you're beautiful," He says smiling more at me.

"Really?" I ask looking up at him.

"Yes, because you are and you need to know that," Jace says as he takes my hand in his.

"I don't know what to say Jace, I'm not used to this," I say, as we take a seat at the bar.

"You don't have to tell me your whole life story yet if you're not ready too, I'm patient I can wait as long as you need," He says with a serious look on his face.

"Thank you Jace," I say as the bar tender approaches us.

"What can I get for you two tonight?" The bar tender asks us.

"I'll take a Jack and Coke," Jace says.

"I'll have whiskey on the rocks please," I say to the bar tender.

"Coming right up!" He says and goes to make our drinks.

"Whiskey on the rocks? I took you for more of a wine girl, but damn I'm impressed Jordyn," Jace says smiling big at me.

"I like my wine, on Saturday nights while I binge Grey's Anatomy and pretend I'm on the show with my best friend Riley," I say to him.

"Damn Girl, I'm already in love with you!" Jace says jokingly.

"Mm yeah me too! You're handsome face sucked me in," I joke back, laughing lightly.

Our drinks arrive, he pays and tips the bartender, then turns to me and gently grabs my face, pulling it to his. His lips crash onto mine, my whole world changing the second he placed his lips on mine. I never felt the feeling I am now, I can pinpoint what it is, the last guy I was with cheated and destroyed my life. He cheated with my ex-best friend Violet Teller. My lips respond back to Jace's nearly instantly, almost as if we were meant to be.

When he pulls away, I'm breathless and feeling some type of way for sure.

"I've never been kissed like that before, " I simply say to Jace as I pick up my drink.

"That's because you'll never find a man like me baby!" Jace says matter of factly.

"And you'll never find a woman like me, babe!" I say back to him, then wink at him.

"mm, you're just everything I want in women, " Jace says to me, taking a big sip of his drink.

"And just maybe you're everything I want in a man, " I say back, taking another sip of my drink.

"Then we're definitely meant to be Jordyn!" he says wiggling his eyebrows at me.

I start laughing, which makes him chuckle, I haven't felt like this in a long time, I'm glad he accidentally texted me.

We drink a few more drinks, both of us feeling buzzed, we hit the dance floor and dance together.

We drink more, drunk as ever, Jace orders an Uber back to his place, saying,

"Well come get the cars tomorrow."

I just nod at him as we get into the Uber.

Jace's POV

I take Jordyn's hand in mine, she looks over at me and smiles. She was drunker than I am, but she was holding it together pretty good considering.

We arrive at my place, we get out and head inside. I grab a bottle of whiskey from the freezer and two glasses from my kitchen cabinet. I lead her to my room, we sit on my bed and drink more. She kicks off her heels and puts her legs across my lap, I rest my arms against her legs. She gets more drunk as do I, and things get a bit blurry but I vaguely remember us having sex and Jordyn falling asleep in my t-shirt.
