"Hey, love."
Louis smiles shyly at Harry when he opens the door, he's nervous this entire talk they will have will go completely wrong.
Harry opens the door wider and steps aside so that Louis can come in, then shuts the door seconds after he does.
"I'm sorry." They both say at the same time, then both laugh. Harry shakes his head, "No Louis, I shouldn't have called you those things, or lied and said me and Fionn got back together."
Louis sits on the couch and sighs, shrugging, "Why didn't you?"
Harry sits in front of Louis on the coffee table, "Because I don't love him." He says honestly, "I love you."
"I love you too." Louis says, smiling at Harry, "And I'm sorry, about Zayn- I was a little drunk- and high." He says ashamed, "We both were, and were both hurting, so." He shakes his head, "There were no feelings." He mutters, "I'm sorry."
Harry looks at the sincere look on Louis's face and smiles sadly, "I'm sorry, too." He says, "Fionn had stopped by and I just took my anger out on him, though I shouldn't have been angry with you, I was just jealous."
"It's okay." Louis nods, "We both made a mistake." He says, looking down, "I understand if you don't- you know, want me anymore."
Harry takes Louis's hands in his own and shakes his head, "Baby, I'll always want you, you're my person."
Louis looks at Harry for a moment and thinks back to The Quarter Back Episode of glee. When Rachel had just suffered the heartbreak of losing Finn, thats what she had said. Louis couldn't bare to think about losing the person he loved most. Harry.
Louis nods, eyes glassing over as he looks up at Harry, "I miss how we used to be." He says so soft that its almost a whisper, "We had problems, but nothing ever like this."
Harry sighs, "We can get back to that, I've only been back a few days, we still have some work to do." He says to Louis, "We both went through a lot of heartbreak those 5 years, but look where we are, here, together."
"I love you." Louis says, tilting his head at Harry and smiling, "You always seem to say the right thing- All the time."
Louis had ended up staying over that night, they talked more and more. Basically begging each other to know how sorry they both were for what they had done.

Around a week later, Louis was sitting in the living-room of Harry's house in only Harry's shirt, on the phone the local prison for females. His mother got out today, and she needed somewhere to stay. Louis loved his mother dearly. He was still extremely upset with her but he can't bring himself to leave her out in the cold.
"I'll be there." He says into the phone, "No...It's okay, we can grab a bite to eat when you get out...No, I don't." He rolls his eyes at his mothers pickiness, "Listen, Jay, I'll be there to pick you up later and you'll deal with whatever I have okay? Bye." Louis hangs up the phone and shakes his head.
"Jesus." He mutters, standing from his place on the couch and walking towards Harry's room, finding a pair of yoga pants that were going to be way too small on him because of his bum.
Harry could of course fit them though.
"Where are you going?" Harry asks, a grogginess to his voice as he sits up in bed.
"My mum called." Louis says quietly, "I have to go pick her up, but I think she's gonna stay with my grandparents,"
Harry takes a breath and tugs the blankets back up his body, "Do you want me to come with you?"
"No." Louis says, shaking his head, "I'll be back tonight, their house is way off- like past you're hometown."
"There's supposed to be a really bad storm, Louis, I say you don't go." He frowns, shaking his head.
"A little snow isn't going to hurt." Louis rolls his eyes, "I know I called you Daddy before, but please don't start acting like my actual dad,"
"I just worry about you, baby." Harry chuckles, "Just be safe, okay? I love you."
"I love you too." Louis smiles, walking over to Harry and pecking his lips. "See you later tonight, better not sneak any boys over while I'm gone."
"No promises."

Louis had arrived at the prison around 8:30, 30 minutes before his mothers release. She had gotten out on parol due to good behavior. He was upset with her for not standing up for him, but if he's honest he's really excited to see her again. He knows his mother loves him, he just doesn't understand why she sat back and let those things happen. He's hoping to find out today.
Louis looks up from his spot in his seat when he hears his mothers voice from behind the door. He takes a deep breath and stands up, watching unsurely as his mother steps through the door. She looks a bit skinner than he remembers, and her hair is much longer, down to her mid-back. The clothes she was wearing were a bit baggy due to her weightloss, but the joy on her face when he saw Louis told that she didn't care about it.
"Louis." She whispers, her eyes filling with regretful tears as she rushes to him and wraps her arms around his waist, pressing her face to his chest, "I'm so sorry, Boobear, I'm so terrible."
Louis sighs, hugging her back and setting his chin on her shoulder, "Let's talk about it in the car, okay? I wanna get out of here."
"Me too." She agrees, pulling away and wiping her tears, "Thank you for coming to get me, I didn't expect you to."
"That's because I don't owe you anything, at all." Louis says blandly, opening the exit door for her.
Johannah nods, "That's very true." She mutters, utterly ashamed as memories of the past floated around in her head.
Louis gets into the car and buckles up, glancing over at Jay as she does the same. He takes a deep breath as he starts his head and starts to pull out of the gated lot.
"Go on." He says, "Tell me your excuse, I know you've thought about this, let me guess, you were scared he'd do the same, he threatened to kill me? What is it?" He asks, flicking his eyes over to her as he pulls onto the highway.
"He did the same to me." Jay says, not daring to look at Louis, "And I was so selfish for not being a good mother and getting help for us- I'm not saying this so you can be like ,'Mum, you aren't selfish' ,But that's exactly what it was, I thought- hell, I was in love, just.." She shakes her head, "I was in love with a monster, that hurt my baby and I never did anything about it."
Louis thinks for a long time- Well, maybe five minutes. Sitting in a tense and silent car made it seem for eternity. "I..I don't know what to say."
"I wish I would've known." Louis continues, "And I'm glad you aren't trying to sugar coat things- You have owned up to your mistake, you were being truthful, so I accept it, Mum."
He may forgive her, but he's not sure
if he'll ever be able to trust her again.
"I'm sorry." She shakes her head, tears pooling her eyes, "Babyboy, I'm so sorry."
"It's okay, Mum," Louis says, reaching his left hand over to take hers in his hand, "I promise, I love you."
"I love you too, Boobear." She says tearfully, smiling tightly over at him, "So much."
"So, is Mcdonalds okay? I'm broke."
