The Wedding Day!!

The sun was shining in my bedroom window and I couldn't help but groan as I tried to roll away, but as I tried to move out of the bright sunbeams, I heard beeping of my alarm..

Today wasn't a day that I could waste my time..This was a big and very special day for my bestie...I had to get ready fast as we had Hair appointment..in normal situation , I would have been freaked out , mostly about the hair style and dress. But now there was only thing bothering me more was ..those damn high heels...I spent some time at night actually practicing on walking in them to no avail..i decided one thing...That those heels were pure evil..

I finished brushing my teeth, and slipped down the kitchen where Jenny and Lyra were busy making breakfast...Sometimes I wonder that were they my guest or I was their?? So whenever I threatened them to let me give them my hospitality, they shooed me saying they weren't guest but friends..So from that time I stopped my efforts to make them my guest..they are sisters to me..

After chitchatting while eating breakfast I went to Guest room where Armaan was sleeping peacefully..I noticed that Armaan was lying on his back snoring, his bare chest exposed, and sheet where hugging around his waist.i couldn't help but to smile..He was a good looking man , and it honestly surprised me that someone like him wanted a girl like me who was plain and ordinary..I guess I was lucky that he likes ordinary..i knew that he was going to cabolium to meet his parents and would come by evening to attend the wedding..

Slipping into my room, I quickly got showered I pushed my jeans and searched for good T-shirt..And I found something which I had'nt seen in years..Neil's T-shirt....Neil gave me when I stayed at his house one of the day back in past. I really thought I had given it back but it was oblivious that I hadn't...so far it had been hidden in depths of my closet..

I couldn't help but to run my hands from the material causing me remember the things that I had long forget..the things that I never wanted to think about..these thoughts made me to look over our farewell party picture which wasn't on my table..A walked over the table and found it lying face down..Frowing, I sat back and looked at the moment frozen in time..

We were happy then..Me and Neil..Untill the horrible summer of my life after our graduation..our friendship wasn't tarnished over the horrible things happened..Sighing I put the t-shirt back on bed and pulled my tank top and wore that T-shirt on it..When I got downstair..

" we thought you gonna stay forever in your room..."Stated jenny

" I was confused about what to wear ..you know I don't want to mess with my hair pulling t-shirt down my hair..Radhika warned me.."

Kriti and all laughed..Just then radhika and Nandini entered to pick us up for our hair and make up appointment..

" Let's get move on.." Radhika stated..

Everyone left the house and then I saw Radhika examining me closely..she recognized the t-shirt..

I lagged behind when everyone's was getting into Radhika's New SUV , with hopes of avoiding conversation about t-shirt with Radhika..but I wasn't much lucky

" I wondered I had seen that T-shirt in my house.." she said in teasing tone

" Don't even start Radz.." I replied still ignoring her face..but radhika being Radhika never gonna step back

" My brother actually looks good in that t-shirt too..:

" Shut Up Radz.." I growled

I climbed the car, our ride to the salon went pretty uneventful..But I couldn't help but think that why I choose this T-shirt from all the pretty tops I had in my closet..

Our hair appointment was at 10 and there were lots to do since there were six of us getting our hair done..So when we arrived , we found out that Radhika booked the whole place for the morning everyone could get reasonable of time to get ready.

A sort of scary looking women who called herself Stella me over the one of the chair and started pulling my hair in hot sticks..She then asked to Radhika how to do my hair, they discuss what to do with my hair..within an hour , my hair was flowing on my back with long curls with small stone studded pins latching my hair..

By noon, everyone was finished and looked wonderful too. When we arrived at the wedding hall, I could configure boys were yet to arrive as I couldn't see any vehicle of them.

One thing making me anxious. I was worried how I would gonna deal with Neil and Armaan being in same room..Armaan alreay cleared that he didn't like Neil and wasn't happy with reunion my friendship with Neil..i know Armaan cared for me but I could sense that there was something more than dislike for my best friend..but I ignored to question him about it..

I had Armaan and my best friend Neil back , what more could I ask??

For some weird reason Radhika was panicking..she was hell nervous ..i never saw her like that in my whole life..there was no way anything could go wrong.

" Something is going to happen to ruin this day for me, I just know.." she exclaimed while I was trying to finish buttoning the back of her blouse..

" Everything is going to fine, Radhika..."

" I don't know , Sam"

" Breathe Radhika.." replied Nandini while she stood in front of very nervous bride, her hands on her arms..

After taking deep breath, Radz appered bit calming down herself..i looked at Kriti was finishing final touch up on her make up..Radhika's nervousness was obvious..

I pulled my phone from my clutch and dialed Neil' number..wondering how things were going with groom..

" Hello.."

"Is Arjun as nervous as Radz is??"

" Yup..."

I couldn't help but to laugh..i know if Radhika was hell nervous , Arjun was likely to ten times more nervous than she was.

" I figured that..you guys are ready?/"

" Yeah..All set for the coming onslaught...Radz got crazy..she actually prevents me from seeing you...crazy huhh?"

Radhika was going extreme on her plan for her entry..but it was nice that no one could see us till the wedding though..specially In beautiful lehengas..

" You aren't missing much...Nandini and Kriti looking stunning...and Radz...looks like absolutely gorgeous..."

" And you?? How do you look?/" I asked

" Like a fool..."

" I doubt that Sam..."

" you yourself see in about twenty minutes..."

"You are beautiful, Sam, don't you ever forget it.."

" Thanks Neil..But you don't have to say that just to..."

It was then I heard a crash behind me and I spun around to see schattred glass on the floor..and a horrified looking Radz..

" I got to go..see you in few minutes..."

I quickly push end button and put my phone on side table and Ran to Radz pushing her away from the glass.

" What happened?" I asked

" My perfume..My five hundred dollar perfume..i brought it when I visited you in NY, Sam..." muttred Radhika

" Evryone, stay away from it ot we all will smell like that.."I stated, calming down Radz

" And don't worry radz, I will brought one for you again...just calm down.." I said

Just the door opened and wedding co-coordinator asked us to come for ritual..i told her that we would come in few minutes..i turned to radz who was more nervous now

" but it is not good sign..Breaking of glass is omnious..something wrong going to happen.." she started

I grabbed her shoulder and locked my eyes with her..

"Radhika, nothing is going to go wrong..it is all gonna be fine..you are beautiful bride and this is supposed to be happiest day of your life ..take a deep breath..."

Radhika took deep breath for a moment and looked back to me..

" are you okay now??" I asked

" Ready to go..."

I smiled and held her shoulder..Kriti went first and then followed by Nandu..Where I and Radz walked with four girls holding red chunnari above our head..Now I started feel nervous, descending stairs with radz..The idea making my legs go jolly..

" take a deep breathe Sam.." Radz stated giving me taste of my own medicine..

The music began to play and we started descending stairs..While descending down, I noticed numerous pair of eyes were on me..i tried not to concentrate on them as I carefully putting my foot on each stair..As I gained my confidence, my eyes looked up and I met Neil's Deep black eyes..when I looked into them they were strangely different but welcoming..i felt myself smile at him as I continued to walk towards Mandap..When I reached at my spot, standing behind radz, to look after her, I turned to look at him yet again, and still his gaze was locked on me..why??? I would have to ask him later..

Was I not looking good??

As Mantra got started by priest , we started our conversation through our eyes..it wasn't usual for us but it was gorgeous..

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and touching..the seven Pheras were perfect and seeing them like this was sign of how much they truly loved each other..

The priest declared that they became now Mr and Mrs Arjun Mehra..

The hall erupted in applaud and I quickly hugged my Radz and watched her going with her husband to take blessing from god and elders..Neil then stepped down towards me extending his hand when I hooked my own hand with his and led me down across the hall.

I had forgotten how my body reacted to his touch , but when my arm touched his, it was like fire raced up and down my body , but I shook off the feelings..Old feelings won't die easily

I stood beside Neil when I met Manya we gave me " Drop dead " look and then Neil's parents came close which made Manya to leave us alone..And the next moment Armaan come to us..

"" Hello, Neil..."

" Hey Armaan..Nice to meet you..."

" Same here..Sam has told me a lot about you.." grumbled Armaan

He quickly kissed on the cheek and walked holding my hands to other side..towards his parents..i couldn't able to say anything to Neil for my sudden departure from him...I greeted Armaan's parents and we talked for a while..

Armaan wasn't speaking anything..he was silent when I was talking to his parents..i began to wonder what was bothering him.

" What happened, Armaan?" I asked as soon as His parents left us alone.

" I think you know what should it be..." he replied

" don't tell me this is about Neil..."

" You are too forgiving Sam..he hurt you beyond anything I have ever seen and in the few weeks you are just fine and talking to him like nothing happened in past..Don't you think this is little weird.."

" I think you are overreacting Armaan..i think most of my problem because I acted childish that time..Neil has the right to do what he wants..i realized I couldn't control my best friends life..to whom he choose for himself..i should have just happy for him..now is the time to be grown up about everything..i learnt that I should let go the things which I couldn't able to control...He is engaged and I am with you, so there is nothing to fear...alright??"

He looked over at me and smiled..i grabbed his palm and squeezed it little..and then we headed towards the lawn area

The outside , the lawn was magnificent and royal..radhika had done all the planning by herself and made her wedding planner to look after evry single detail..the place looked like icey place..the crystal table sparkcled the candlelight and the ice sculpture were amazing..Armaan went to talk to some of his friends and I took seat at head table next to Kriti..

" see you didn't fall..." she chuckled pointing towards my heels

" I was really worried about them..guess the fate were on my side/.."

Then the announcement my Dj about newlywed couple arrival brought our attention to them.. when I looked up I saw Neil coming towards me but then he sat Next Arjun..The dinner was brought out and it was amazing.

Then it was time for Aradhika's first dance..it was so beautiful , the lights on the floor went dim and the a pale blue white spot light shinned down on them..i couldn't help but want that when I got married..not extracagunt like this..but that look of pure love and devotion in the eyes of man that I married..

As announcement came from Dj to join other people to dance floor, I could saw Neil walked towards me..then he extended his hands towards me..

" May I have this dance??" he asked

I couldn't help but to smile and led my hand in his..he was hesitant but he pulled me in and wrapped his arms around me.i slowly wrapped my hand around him, accidently brushing the skin of his neck as I settled my hand on his shoulder..i felt the the electric charge run down my spine with that brief touch..

As the music began to play, I leaned down on his shoulder.. being this close to him, I felt my heart began to race..it was amazing feeling I ever experienced..butterflies in my stomach started to dace too..but I just wanted to enjoy this moment..it was like there wasn't anyone out there in the world., it was just two of us on the dance floor..and I was more than happy..

I heard the song was ending, then I looked up to meet his eyes..they were warm and soft and looking deeply for something in my eyes..i was about to say something when I got interrupted

" May I cut in?"

I turned to look Armaan standing beside me, extending his hand to me..i wanted to speak to Neil but I knew it would cause troble ..so I took Armaan's hand and he led me out on the centre of the dance floor..leaving Neil standing alone..When he wrapped his arm around and I settled myself , it wasn't the same as I felt before a few minutes with Neil..

" You are looking beautiful, Sam.." he whispered in my ears

I felt blood rushing to my face turning it into crimson shade

" I think you need eye check up Armaan cause if anyone is good looking it is you..."I chuckled as he spanned me around the dance floor..

" can we leave the wedding party little early?/" he asked

" why?"

" I want to show you something..."he replied, look of mischief dancing in his eyes

" what are you up to , Armaan?"

" nothing..my love..just a little surprise for you..."

" you know I hate surprises.."

" C'mon darling..let me do this one thing for you...."

" Fine...nothing too crazy...okay??"

" okay..."he said with smug smile

I then started to look for Neil, I knew I had to talk to him, that I would be leaving party little early, and when I met his eyes...something was off..something was going through his mind that much I was sure of..

I watched as the rest of our friends gathered around him and eventually went on the one of the table and was talking..i remained silent, cause I didn't wanted to make Armaan angry drewing my attension on them..

Then I noticed Neil walking towards main door of lawn..was he leaving??

" I have to see were Neil is going..." I said realizing Armaan's hand

" Sam....."

I ran fast as I could in my heels , trying to catch up with him

" Neil, where are you going?"

When he turned around, I saw sadness there..what was making him so sad??

" I'm not feeling well..and Can't see off Radz..i'm going home.."

There was something more than this but I wasn't going to question him now..i reach out and wrapped my body around him, hugging him close..giving him comfort

" Okay..Be careful..Don't over think..Radz gonna be here..in same city...I will come tomorrow home to say bye..."

It wasn't something I was ready to do..but I had to do..i had to go back to NY.

Alright Sammy..see you tommarow then.."

He hugged me tight and then let me go..i felt Armaan's touch on my hand and I finally led him wrap his fingers between mine and lead me back to the dance floor . but my mind wasn't leaving Neil's sad face..

What was going on with Neil though??

I was getting tired though, I danced with Armaan, Sid, Raj uncle and even Arjun..i was having so much fun and I wished it wouldn't have to end..it would be more fun if Neil still was there..

I started missing my best friend...

" So You ready for surprise?"

I felt Armaan's strong arms snake around my waist; I turned a little to look back at his smiling face.

" Do I have any choice?" I said playfully

" Nope..Come on..we are leaving..." he started pulling me towards gate

" I have to say bye to Arjun and Radhika first, Silly.."

He stopped , giving me his puppy eyes sad look when I went to Radhika. After saying good bye to newly weds, I came back to him..And soon we were out of the parking lot in his car..

" So what is the surprise?"

" it wouldn't be surprise if you knew what it is...Sam"

I crossed my hand across my chest, pretending I was angry..he then pinch the end of my nose like a kid..

" C'mon Sam, let it be surprise Please.." he begged

" Fine...Armaan..not too crazy...."

It was just then I noticed he took left turn, not towards the my house..

" Armaan..."

" The surprise isn't in Panji..its in cabolium...My town..."

I watched as the trees flew by the car..the night had settled its dark colour all over, the stars blanketing us with brilliant lights..we slowely entered the cabolium, the town was quite..Suddenly car stopped making Creech sound in that silent..

" C'mon Sam.." he exclaimed while grabbing my hand

" where are you taking me??" I yelled as he pulled towards the path into the forest

" Taking you to your surprise...oh..one thing I forgot..you need this.."

He then pulled a black satin cloth out of his pocket and began to wave in front of my face

" OHH..No..No Blindfolds and all, Armaan...Its so filmy"

" Yess ,My love..Please""

Sighing, I let him put that blindfold on my eyes..i then felt him holding my hand tight and leading towards only God knows where..i could hear the crunching sound of dried leaves underneath my feet..we walked quite distance and then he suddenly stopped..and left my hand

" Armaan"

" I am here only Sam..."

Then he removed the blindfold and I opened my eyes slowly to get adjust to the light..i couldn't help but to gasp at what was before me..before my eyes was sea of candlelight ..looking around, I realized it was cliff just outside the cabolium and that candlelights were city lights looking tiny candle from far and then I noticed the moon shimmering down over the waters by beach..

My eyes moved to the man , standing next to me and smiling..this is too much..i was overwhelmed

" Armaan.." my voice trembled

He then touched me by holding my arms and make me face him

"Sam, you know that I love you ..I loved you from the moment I laid eyes on you since we were kids..you never saw me that way until few years, and you made me happiest person since then.."

" you made me happy too, Armaan.."

It was then he dropped down on his knee and looked up to meet my tear filled eyes

" Samaira Khanna, I can't live without You..I need you in my life..You are my heart, you are my soul..my everything..Please, I want nothing more than to be your husband..Please, Sam..will you marry me??"

The tears were streaming down my cheeks , when Armaan pulled ring box from his pocket, opening it..it was beautiful..words can't describe it..the diamond shined in the moon light, competing with that moon..his eyes shimmered with hope..

My mind was racing..this man wanted me forever..he wanted me to be his wife..No man ever wanted me this way..The man that I craved for so long didn't wanted me this way..but this man ...he wanted me always

" Yess..i will marry you.." I whispered

He stood and pulled me in tight hug..slipping ring into my finger and giving me a rose , I was still in shock.

" I love you Sam..i never love anyone like the way I love you..you have made me incredibly happy..."

Leaning myself on his strong chest, I began to think..now I was engaged..I was going to become Mrs Samaira Armaan Arora..this was too much

Armaan pushed me little back to look into my eyes

"You okay, Sam?"

"Yeah..this is not I expected that I would experience...I am sppechless..."

" For you, sam..i would give you the world..."

With that he lined in and touch his lips with mine..shiver ran down my spine..Leaning back I saw sparckle in his eyes..he was truly happy..i was happy, but why did it wasn't reaching to my heart?? Why I had feeling that something was wrong? Pushing that feelings aside, I hugged him tightly, closing my eyes..trying to push the thought that this moment was meant for someone else but Armaan..
