"Aspen... Aspen, wake up." Cameron said with a soft chuckle. He reached across the center console of his car and tapped her shoulder.

She stirred lightly as she gradually slipped back into consciousness. "How...long was I asleep?" She yawned, stretching her arms and rubbing her eyes briefly.

"About an hour." He answered with a smile, placing both hands back on the wheel. "I woke you up to ask if you wanted a snack." He glanced over at her and raised his eyebrows.

"Is that even a question? Who doesn't like food?" She scoffs, chuckling and adjusting the seat.

Cam chuckled and reached behind him. He felt around behind the drivers seat before producing a 'GIANT' grocery store bag.

"Take what you want." He said with a gentle expression, tossing it onto Aspen's lap.

A smile crossed her face and she gingerly looked through the bag. "Hm... All good choices, all good choices." She spoke softly.

Her fingers circled around a long container and she gasped. "You got Pringles?! Lifeeeee." Aspen exclaimed, placing the rest of the food by her feet. She opened the top and removed the aluminum seal.

"Could you pass me a few?" Cam asked, holding out a hand.

"Um- since when do I have to share." Aspen said, grimacing and hugging the chips close to her chest. She popped a piece of salty goodness into her mouth.

"Since I bought them?" He chuckles, glancing at her with humor dancing in his dark blue eyes.

She let out a sigh. "Darn."

He held out a patient hand again.

Aspen grabbed a small stack of chips from the container and placed them into his outstretched Palm.

"Keep your eyes on the road." She reminded cautiously, pointing towards them with the Pringles container in hand.

"I'm not going to let you die." He shook his head with a smile. Cameron ate a few chips and turned the radio up a few notches.

Aspen pushed her finger on a button that sat on the door. Her window moved down a crack. She pressed it a few times more until she was satisfied.

She slipped off her flip flops and crossed her feet on the dashboard. She placed the Pringles in the cup holder between them and pulled out her phone.

Both of them happily snacked as the radio played.

Aspen texted Macy as they sped down the highway.

Aspen: how is riding with Zach? I can't believe you ditched me 😕

Macy: Gotta love Cupid, huh? 😏

Aspen: For the thousandth time- you are not Cupid😂

Macy: I could be the reincarnation of Cupid though!! You'd never know it😎

Aspen: You're nuts😂

Macy: What cha' gonna do about it? 😂

Aspen smiled at her phone and pressed on the camera icon. She tilted her body so that when she held up her phone; Cameron was in the picture.

She flipped her sunglasses over her eyes and made a funny face. Cam didn't noticed and continued driving. The end result was a picture that made them both look incredible. Cameron had one hand on the wheel and the other rested along the open window. His elbow hung outside of the car slightly. Aspen's blonde hair was blown in perfect wisps because of the air in the car.

She decided to send it to Macy with the caption ' I'm gonna eat Pringles now and ignore you😂😘'

She turned off her phone and relaxed into the seat of the car. She adjusted her feet so she was comfortable and ate a few more chips. She hummed lightly to 'Perfect' by One Direction.

She reached forward and turned the volume up. She held her phone up to her mouth and pretended it was a microphone. "-And if you like having secret little rendezvous! If you like to do the things you know that we shouldn't doooooo. Then baby, I'm perfect....Baby, I'm perfect for you." She pointed at Cam jokingly and he chuckled. She sung at the top of her lungs and danced in her seat. "And if you like midnight driving with the windows down; And if you like going places we can't even pronounceee. If you like to do whatever you've been dreaming about-Then baby, you're perfecttttt. Baby, you're perfect!
So let's start right now." She cut off her voice and became slow.

"And if you like cameras flashing every time we go out...Oh, yeah..And if you're looking for someone to write your break-up songs about.. Baby, I'm perfect..." She perked up instantly and Cameron joined in.

"BABY, WE'RE PERFECT!" They sang together, laughing.

"If you like causing trouble up in hotel rooms-" Aspen sang. Cam cut her off and pointed to her.

"And if you like having secret little rendezvous. If you like to do the things you know that we shouldn't do-"

They sang together again and Cam tapped on the steering wheel with a smile.

"Then baby, I'm perfecttttt! Baby, I'm perfect for you! And if you like midnight driving with the windows down-"

Aspen made funny faces and closed her eyes as if she was having a concert. "And if you like going places we can't even pronounce; If you like to do whatever you've been dreaming about-"

Cam finished the song off. "Then baby, you're perfect. Baby, you're perfecttttt! So let's start right now!"

Aspen fell into a fit of laughter that made Cameron smile. She leaned over and wiped her eyes as she smiled.

***********

"Oh my gosh... Look at that gorgeous ocean." Aspen admired dreamily, her jaw hanging open slightly.

Cam glanced over at he and nodded. 'Yeah... That's what's gorgeous.' He thought to himself.

His Honda pulled up next to Zach's familiar red truck.

Aspen happily opened her door and got out, adjusting her sunglasses. "It even smells amazing." She sighs, grabbing her phone and slipping it into the back pocket of her jean shorts.

She shut the passenger side door and walked to the trunk to help Cameron grab what they needed.

"I'll get my beach bag and the towels, if you can grab the cooler and food?" Aspen offered with a smile. She delicately grabbed the straps to her bag. She lifted it out of his car and also grabbed the bag that held the towels.

Cam smiled at her with a wink before he shut the trunk and walked to the driver side door. He picked out the cooler and set it on the sandy ground. He gathered the food bag in his arm and shut the door. Cameron lifted the cooler and walked over to Aspen.

He couldn't help but notice how her hair was constantly swept around by the light ocean breeze. The sun lightly beat down on them and caused her to appear like an angel.

"Pennie, you need some sunscreen." Cam frowned, noticing the light tint of red already dancing across the bridge of her nose.

She grimaced. "That name is so weird."

"Sorry." He chuckled. "But really- you're going to burn really fast with this sun."

"Okay- mom." She rolled her eyes teasingly.

"At least I'm looking out for you." Cam pointed out.

Aspen chuckled in response and waited patiently for Macy and Zach to get out of their car.
