Ben's Point Of View

I've been waiting expectantly for Rey's reply, her letters are the things I look forward to more than anything. Finally, today I received a letter from her.

Dear Ben,

I missed you too. I wish that I could have come too, it would be so nice to meet you, even though I would probably get butterflies.

I bet talking to you made those kids day, I know I would like to meet my favorite author.

You were here for me, I received your letter only a few moments after I received the news. Finding out that you love me made it hard for me to think about anything else but you. Though a hug would have been wonderful, perhaps you could send me a hug through the "Force."

You're in my heart too Ben.

Thank you Ben, I'm sorry for even thinking that you would leave me. I should have known that you never would, I'm just afraid because my parents said that they loved me, but they left me. It's just one of those things that will go with me for the rest of my life.

"I love you too," I whispered. Then I picked up my phone and went my Wattpad account. I typed her username into the search and found her account.

Her profile picture was a photo of the night sky. I followed her without hesitation, I don't usually follow people, but of course I'm going to follow Rey.

I read her description quickly and blushed:

My favorite book: The Starlight Chronicles
My favorite movie: Lord of the Rings
My favorite games: Middle Earth: Shadows Of War, Dominion
My favorite authors: Ben Solo, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis
My best friends: Finn & Ben
My boyfriend: Ben Solo ❤️
Location: Nowhere

I hadn't really realized that she was my girlfriend until now. I smiled shyly at the thought, then I looked at her books, I was excited to read the fan fiction she's been telling me about.

She only has one book, a Starlight Chronicles fan fiction, called Beyond The Starlight.

I read the first chapter, it was really good. It was about Anakin and Padme after the end of the second book, I hope she isn't too heartbroken about how the third book is going to end.

I take a deep breath then I leave a comment:

I love this story so far, I can't wait for the next chapter! I knew that you were a good writer. ❤️❤️❤️

Then I went to the private messages and sent her a message.

Hi Rey, I just wanted to let you know that this is me, Ben. I loved the first chapter of your book, you are an amazing writer. It's like you told me, don't doubt yourself.

Rey's Point Of View

I was working on typing the second chapter of my fan fiction when I received a notification that someone called @KyloRen followed me, this is the first time anyone has followed me on here. I clicked his profile, he didn't have anything on it, but I decided to follow him anyway.

Suddenly I noticed that he had also commented on my book:

I love this story so far, I can't wait for the next chapter! I knew that you were a good writer. ❤️❤️❤️

My brow furrowed, what did he mean 'I knew' ?

I noticed that there was also a message in my inbox from him:

Hi Rey, I just wanted to let you know that this is me, Ben. I loved the first chapter of your book, you are an amazing writer. It's like you told me, don't doubt yourself.

I smiled, it was Ben, I thought that it was, but I wasn't sure. I quickly wrote a reply, not wanting to keep him waiting.

Rey:
Thank you Ben ❤️❤️❤️

Ben:
I noticed your description 🥰

Rey:
*Blushes* Sorry

Ben:
Don't be, I like it and I love you ❤️
I'm not ashamed if everyone knows that you're my girlfriend. I'm just surprised that you weren't too embarrassed of me to claim that I was your boyfriend.

Rey:
I love you too 💕
Ben, don't be ridiculous, I'm not embarrassed of you, I'm proud of you.

Ben:
Thank you, Rey ❤️❤️❤️

Rey:
Ben are you going to stop sending me letters now that we can talk on Wattpad? Because if you do, I'm going to miss your beautiful handwriting.

Ben:
Don't worry, I won't stop sending you letters.
Calligraphy is actually a hobby of mine, writing you gives me a chance to actually use it 😊

Rey:
It's beautiful, I wish I could write like that.

Ben:
Well your handwriting is already beautiful, it wouldn't be hard for you to learn calligraphy.

Rey:
Do you think so?

Ben:
All you have to do is find a book about it and practice.
You could practice when you write to me, then I could give you a few tips.
I hated boarding school, but at least I did learn a few things that I could share with you.

Rey:
You're so sweet.

"Rey, it's time for dinner," Finn said as he walked into the room.

"Okay, I'll be there just as soon as I say goodbye to Ben," I replied.

"Ben?" he asked, coming over.

"He's writing me on Wattpad," I explained.

"That's great," he replied.

Rey:
I have to go eat dinner, I'll write you tomorrow.

I typed into the computer.

Ben:
Okay, and you should receive a letter from me soon.
I love you.

I smiled shyly at his reply, before answering:

I love you too.

"Ooo, 'I love you' it looks like you finally told him how you feel," Finn said.

I glared at him as I saw him leaning over to read our conversation. "Finn, this is a private conversation."

"Right, sorry," he answered.

"Have you told Rose yet?" I asked him.

"Oh she's already at the table," he replied, but I could tell that he knew what I meant.

"Not about dinner, dummy, about how you feel about her?"

He blushed. "Umm.. no."

"If you don't tell her, I will."

"Fine, I'll tell her," he gave in.
