RISE

Afar from the sky there was a ball of light as I stood in front of the spotlight.

When blankets of darkness  covered the universe and everything went pitch black,

In the midst of strangers, there are hundreds of laughter filled the air.

Vines constricted my body, it slowly choked me

painful tears came fall from dark clouds above,

sadness spread across the land.

I was affected and I was flinched by fear

shards of hurtful truth pricked me.

Neglected by everybody

I felt defeated.

Lifelessly float in the water, until those words of criticism drowned me deeper.

I was broken like a rotten flower

for my body was cold as corpse

and been washed away by waves of disappointment.

Years and years had past

a seed of hope was buried into the ground

as my soul was slowly revived and restored.

Till another daylight.

I would rise like a flower and shock the whole world for the very last time.
