Siya's POV:

As decided 'Sehgal India' was merged today with Malhotra's and Malhotra's for the Asia Pacific region alone.

So with that Malhotra's and Sehgals have a merged organization here for Asia Pacific regions alone.

Back in London or other western countries Dad's business will still be Malhotra's and Malhotra's which will be taken care by Samay Bhai who would take over dad's CEO position next month. When dad has decided to retire and stay back in India.

For the world it's mere relaxation and retirement where as only I know dad is staying close to me to make sure he is approachable anytime I need him.
Sometimes I thank god for how lucky  I am to have such a gem of a person as my father.

I was announced the CEO of the organisation where as Raghav was the director under me. As dad felt the need for an experienced person Laxman Chachu and Bash Chachu both were appointed as directors under me.

I was hesitant because both experience wise and talent wise they are better than me. But I can't let anyone take over the CEO position.

Not even Raghav!

At any cost!

I didn't care what he thought of me but I know what's best for him.

Arora's were indeed pissed of with this step taken by our parents.
Obviously Abinas Arora was hell shocked. He didn't expect his hotel plan to land up in this kind of a soup!

This marriage had literally sewed a lot of mouths and paralyzed a lot of tongues.

There was a media conference organised to announce this.
They obviously wanted to get spiced up answers from us on me taking over when Raghav is still there and he was going to be the soon- CEO!!! But looks like this merger came out of syllabus 🙃 for our media 'friends' !!!

Finally everything was sorted.
I signed all the papers while Raghav was standing there silently in a corner. I knew he was very angry but then it was always expected.

While after all the signatures I asked...

'And how about Sehgal Mansion!!! That should be on my name too...'

While I saw Raghav clenching his fist...

'Beta those papers are still getting ready... they will be ready by today evening...I'll get them while I come to your wedding reception!' Ashwin uncle said...

I smiled and nodded.

Raghav passed me on last glare and left from there!!!

I was looking into all the files & clients list when I got  a call from Gayathri aunty...

"Hi Aunty...Sorry we all got stuck with back to back meetings couldnt come home for lunch" I apologized...

"Siya... next time you call me aunty I swear I will feed you karele ki sabzi (Bitter gourd curry)"

The thought of bitter gourd in my mouth made me go Ewwww & that was the reaction I gave her "Ewwww Bitter gourd... "

To which she laughed & said.. "Call me Ma Siya... In childhood you would call me Ma & Nirjara as Mumma... See now you are officially my daughter"

I smiled... This was indeed the best thing I got from this marriage.. A mother <3

"Sure ma...I will" I said softlly...

"Ok...now you & Raghav..I want you both home by 5 pm! Tonight is the reception party. I want my son & my daughter in law to look like they have come striaght of a fairy tales book Ok?" she asked

Although the thought of story tale she meant was going to be impossible in our case...

Probably the way he glares at me in anger our only fairy tale would be "Beauty & the Beast!!!"

"Ok ma... we will be there" I said & disconnected the call. I saw the time...

It was already 3:30 pm & in Mumbai traffic to reach home we will need an hour so I quickly went to Raghav's cabin & stepped in hurry burry without knocking...

He was looking into some files while he passed me a hard glare & said...

"Although you are my boss here!!! Mam!!! I expect even you to knock & come into my cabin!!! Manners you see!!!" he said...

I narrowed my eyebrows... Uff!!! How much he hates me!!!

"Well Gayathri ma had  called... She asked us to be home by 5 pm for the recept"

Before I could complete he said.. "I dont want more drama.. I believe one drama got over yesterday... how much more & when will this end!!! I have a lot of work I am not coming!!!" he yelled

I was pissed off...

"Raghav... its not a drama its a family function & it will have the world class businessmen, media & everyone visit us & you want to give me an attitude give it in person & not in front of your or my family!!! Remember last night you said lets keep in between us... So lets just do it!!!

Behave matured!!!"

To which he passed a glare & said " I have a meeting with the VC Group of Industries Chairman, they are our new clients for our silk material supply..This project was under Sehgal India & i was handling this but as you are the new C E O !!! You can take it away from me!!!" he spit venom

I looked at him & said..."I know you dont trust me...But I do... You will handle it well!!!"

To which he said..,"Its a big contract & I have heard VC Group also works on exclusive jewellery supply not just in India but outside India too...They are mainly into the Royal Nambiar Jewellery down south & the Rajwadi Jewellery in Rajasthan. I believe if we do get this one, we can be this close to get the jewellery contract too!!!"

My man is smart I must say!!! I had a smile on my face..

"Ok... when are they arriving?" I asked...

"At 4pm. But we may not be able to leave by 5pm. So i suggest you leave & I will join in later anyways... its a dummy reception & you are fantastic when it comes to faking smiles & faking emotions right?"

That hurt me real bad... But I composed myself & quickly left the cabin.

Raghav's POV:

I could see it hurt her

I dont like to say harsh words

But every time I try to look into her eyes I only see greed! Even today after signing the merger papers & taking over the CEO position she was desperate to have Sehgal Mansion on her name.

I cannot believe someone can be this greedy & money hungry!

She even made sure she is the sole CEO of the organization & she wont even be having anyone to share the role even if she is unwell or someone like an acting CEO. When Ashwin uncle said "Just in case of an emergency situation how will you manage"

To which she proudly said.. :"I have 4 capable directors they will manage work on my behalf that time but there wont be anyone who would take up the CEO position after me until & unless I die."

I wonder how greedy a woman can be for power!

My thoughts were broken by my assistant Sonal...

"Sir...Chairman of VC Group has arrived & I have made him sit in the conference hall"

I nodded & went to the conference hall.

I saw a man who was a bit shorter than me, french beard & a serious face.

I offered him a handshake.. "Raghavendra Sehgal..Director Malhotras & Sehgals"

"Interesting!!! So you have had a merger with Malhotras...Thats great... I believe you are already getting the contract Mr Raghavendra." He said smiling.

"I believe my presentation should do the job & not my boss's family name Mr..."

"Vikrant!!!" he introduced himself & offered a handshake & smiled.

"I like people who are this confident with a go-getter attitude Mr Raghavendra... But I was just being honest.. anyways please show me the presentation" he said.

The presentation went very well which went upto 5:30. Finally Mr Vikrant stood up & confirmed that we have the project.

I was extremely happy. Finally by work was done & I left home by 6 pm.

I was home by 7pm & I was earning angry glares from Niyonika Chachi & my mom was looking very pissed.

I went to her leaned towards her wheel chair & helf my ears saying "Sorry Ma... But guess what we won the contract..."

"Raghav... you are married now!!! You have to learn to balance both...house as well as business!!! What will Siya think? Learn to balance both your personal & professional lives Beta (Son)'

I nodded my head & said a 'Sorry'...

Now please change. Your clothes are already in your room.

I hesitantly took steps to the room & knocked.

"Come in please" I heard a sweet voice.

The next minute I saw her my jaws dropped...

She was sitting there wearing a rose colored skirt with a low bun... a blue & silver offshoulder top & simple diamond jewellery & a chic Mangalsutra.

She was wearing her ear studs while I kept looking at her awestruck..

My throat dried up...

While I saw she looked at me via mirror & looked down.

Her thick eyelashes made her beautiful eyes look even more beautiful...

Her pink lips had a cute pout while still wearing those ear studs...

My eyes refused to blink but my heart started beating loud drums!!!

Why are you so beautiful Siya... Planning for a murder tonight? My heart asked while a sly smile made its way on my lips...

She looked again to me via mirror...

"Stop staring!!!" she said

And I was out of my la la land!!! Shit!!!

This woman can drive a normal healthy sensible man crazy!!!

I nodded and took steps towards the washroom while throwing away my jacket...

I removed my clothes & went & stood under the shower!

I needed one!! While cold droplets of water fell on my head, my raised chest & my stomach...

I closed my eyes...

Her silky smooth skin of her shoulders complimenting the blue silver off shoulder top...

her swan like neck...

her soft baby hairs kissing the nape of her neck...

She was mesmerizing & here I was loosing my mind...

Beautiful woman!!! Indeed!!!

Next second...I realised... Damn!! What must she be thinking!!!

I was gawking at her shamelessly...

Damn!!!

CONTROL RAGHAVVVVVV!!!!

I squeezed some shampoo & put on my head & massaged my head gently.. to shoo away her thoughts from my mind..

But every time my eyes closed...I could see her beautiful face...

Her big button like eyes covered by those thick eyelashes!!!

Enough to drown you to death Raghavendra Sehgal!
