(Continuation from the end of previous chapter)

                              Lucy

Natsu looks at Gray and frowns

    "I like your confidence."

Gray nods.

    "I like your fighting style. "

Natsu grunts.

    "I like how you can make pretty things out of ice."

Gray mutters his thanks.

    "I like how you can warm a cold room just by walking into it, not that the cold bothers me, but it does bother the others, and I don't want the others uncomfortable. "

Natsu grins and I smile.

    "I like how you can cool down those who are overheating."

Gray smirks.

    "I like how you can put up with both Erza and Lucy better than I can sometimes because truth be told, even before Lucy earned strongest female wizard in Fairy Tail, she scared me, I mean have you seen angry Lucy! I couldn't imagine marrying someone so scary! And then you and Erza seem to be best friends and I'm like uhm no,  I value my life to much to hang with those two outside of missions because anger those two at the same time and you're a goner!"

Natsu laughs and I frown. I also then smack Gray up the back of his head. He looks at me with a scared expression.

     "I'm not that scary, now continue with your exchange."

Gray nods and Natsu takes his turn.

    "I like how well you deal with persistence, and to be honest I'm surprised that you held out on Juvia so long, but it shows how strong you are when it comes to withstanding temptation."

Gray smiles at that and nods.

    "I like how you never let your fear get the best of you."

Natsu grins.

    "I like how you don't need rely on your Ice Demon Slayer magic, though it would be cool if you did because you would eat ice, not that you can't eat ice now, but it would be more cool if you did because it would you'd have to rely on your element to fuel your magic as much as I do, but I respect that you don't"

Gray nods and smiles.

    "I like how you don't have to always rely on your magic to win a fight, how you sometimes can rely on your brute strength to kick ass without using magic"

****Time skip til after Gray and Natsu finish their compliment exchange***

                                Lucy

    "Now boys was that so hard?"

Natsu looks at Gray, then looks at me and Gray looks at Natsu before like Natsu, he looks at me. They then both simultaneously answer with a no. Natsu then looks at Gray.

    "Well Gray, it seems that I actually feel closer to you, like the compliments showed me that fire and ice isn't to different. Don't you think buddy?"

Gray nods and hooks his arm over Natsus shoulder.

    "Yeah I do, that and they made me have more respect for you, you've always been my friend, but now I'm realizing that the reason you and I didn't get along was because we're kinda like brothers, and what brothers don't fight? "

Natsu then laughs smiling a toothy grin.

    "I couldn't tell you, then again before you I never knew my biological brother until the Battle of Alvarez, and he tried to kill me, but I'm glad to have you as a brother, though it may not be a biological brother relationship you're still my brother."

I smiled and grabbed them by the shoulders and led them back inside.
