Provoke

Depart from me, provoke me not,
Those simple rules to me didn't mean alot.
I quickly grabbed the hat off the old man's head,
But it fell over the banks and became lost in the riverbed.
He became furious, and raised his stick,
Then started yelling in such a high pitch.
Just like all my problems, I ran away in a tree,
Until the steam had settled, where I can now drink my tea.
But little did I know he was the Alumni president of all the community shelters,
It was sooner or later before mom would scold me to respect my elders.
