Some people add music in like I do, sometimes it's related, but most of the time it's random. I add in music so you can listen to songs I like and to introduce you all to the amazing world that is Emo Nightcore. The song up above is an underrated song called alone by Nico Collins. He's amazing and I absolutely love this song.
When I listen to music while I'm not doing anything, I'm consciously linking songs to characters that would fit in the song perfectly. I also do it unconsciously, not asleep but out of habit, because I love seeing which songs match the characters.

That's pretty much what my brain does. It's a fun habit because then I have an excuse to listen to music and be on my phone.
