criticism

Reject hate. Allow feedback and critiques.

If ever someone corrects your spelling, don't get mad. If they do it politely, like: Excuse me, but [misspelled word] is actually spelled [correct spelling].

Even just this:

*[correct spelling here]

Then don't get mad.
If English isn't your first language, try to learn, that way you can improve as an author.

If someone give you tips, don't get mad either. That way, you can improve your writing.

Grammar is complicated, even for those who have English as their first language. So for anyone, whether English is your first language or not, please, with opened arms accept these tips and corrections. That way you'll learn.

BUT

if there is hate, like this:

"YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO SPELL YOU B****, WHY DONT YOU LEARN SOME ENGLISH FOR ONCE" or something similar, simply delete or report the comment. Be the better person, ignore it, and just continue to welcome positive and caring feedback and critiques.

It doesn't even have to be about grammar, it could be about your story.

JUST REMEMBER, Reject hate, and welcome feedback and critiques.

:)
