Proofreading: A Helpful Hint

So, as you may have heard before, I recommend for proofreading that you copy and paste chunks of your works into google translate and have it read back to you. This helps so you can hear it from someone else and see if it sounds how you wanted, and plus you're more apt to notice typos and mistakes when hearing them from someone else. When you silently read to yourself, your eyes may not pick up on mistakes because your brain will convince them that what you intended to write is what is there.

Now, google translate is good, but you can only post a few paragraphs at a time. Right? Well...

Natural Readers dot com is a website I literally just discovered and it's great. They have a selection of readers in multiple languages, and even for one language they have various voices you can choose, male and female. You can even choose between American accent and British. I have betrayed my people and chosen to use the British. It just sounds more pleasant for getting a story read to me. Although, the American voices did a little better with the Arabic words than the British.

In any case, I just wanted to share this with you guys so you can give it a try. Copy a few pages of yours (or upload an entire document) and try it out, let me know below who your favorite voice is lol. And enjoy the new proofreading tip!
