Celestial University {Pt.1}

CELESTIAL UNIVERSITY

CHAPTER ONE:
ENVELOPE
༺☆༻

"Should I take this vase with me?"

In the small, attic room, Libra sat by a drawer with a mirror before him. He was putting on lip balm at the time, but hearing Aquarius' question, he paused. The blonde turned over to his white haired friend, scrunching his face as he judged her internally.

"What?" He asked, pure confusion in his tone.

"Should I take this vase with me?" The girl didn't seem too bothered by the boy's expression. She only stared back blankly, holding a light blue and gold vase up to Libra.

The blonde sighed and rubbed his side temples a bit. "Aqua... Just what makes you think that you can bring a vase?"

She only shrugged and responded, "They said to bring the necessities. My vasses are very necessary, just like your make up kit."

"My make up kit isn't necessary," Spoke Libra, "Sure, I'm bringing my make up kit, but that's because I think it would be nice to have and it is so much more portable than a whole vase." He placed the lip balm back in a small pouch before standing up and placing a hand on her shoulder. "So put the vase down."

Aquarius' sea green eyes looked into Libra's hazel colored ones, her now once expressionless face now turning to a pout. "But... They're like my babies," she places the vase in front of him again, "My pride and joy. I did make this from my own hand."

"... How many did you even plan to bring?"

"Just one. I'm no crazy vase lady, and I do care about my future roommate's thoughts about it."

"Ha." Libra scoffed, amused by her words. He removed his hand from her shoulder, and walked back to his previous spot where he slumped into his seat. Instead of looking back at himself in the mirror, he continued to watch her as she moved across the room to her collection of vases. "At least bring one smaller than that. Cup size, perhaps."

"Cup size?" Her voice held a tone of offence, "That's far too small. I'll think of something before it's time."

Libra let out a soft chuckle as he shook his head. As he began to look in his pouch, he asked, "Do you have any clue on who your roommate is, by the way? I have yet to hear about mine."

"Not yet. But you're pretty lucky."

"And why is that?"

"I would love to have a roommate that I know already." She looks through all her vases, some medium in size, and others almost as large as her. Many were colorful with interesting, small yet very detailed designs, others not even completely painted, and many others that had poor color choices. "Gemini is also going to the university if you haven't heard. There's a chance that you may be with him."

"Oh yeah, I've heard." He shrugged, "But I don't know, honestly. Gemini is kind of known for some mischief so having him as a roommate would be... Kind of risky, I guess? I don't know. I just feel like he would be the type to prank you in every way, even when you know it's coming, there's still something else up his sleeve."

Aquarius couldn't help but laugh, for she agreed with the blonde's claims. Yes, Gemini isn't too bad of a person, but both her and Libra have experienced going through with one of Gemini's pranks, and it wasn't too fun for either of them. Although they are young adults now, Gemini still hasn't really grown out of his pranking habits, yet even though they're much more mellow than before, both the other signs have no desire to satisfy him.

"Well if my roommate is Gemini or not, I just hope they won't be mean and all." Libra sighed, staring into his pouch of make up products, "And be judgemental, you know?"

Aquarius scoffed, "Says the guy who judged my dress the first time we met."

"That judgement was valid because that dress was horrendous. You can even ask Gemini and he'll agree."

"Oh, shut up."

The two of them laughed and as Aquarius picked up one of her vases to size up with her suitcase, Libra looked over to the envelope close to his mirror. It was a simple envelope with a cute and unique looking stamp that seemed to be star themed. Taped to the envelop were baby breath flowers, probably there just for the envelope to look pretty.

The blonde wondered what this invitation to this new university meant. He understands why someone like Aquarius was offered the opportunity to attend, but for someone like him? Surely, it may just remain a mystery for now.

Standing back up, he grabs his pouch and heads to the door. "I'll see you later, Aqua. I have to go pack up, myself."

"Alright, see you soon."

While Aquarius and Libra were comfortable where they were at, the same couldn't be said for a fellow Earth citizen. Standing in the crowd like a lost child, Virgo looked down at her envelope.

Maybe I shouldn't have gone, She thought to herself, This place is so much bigger than I thought, and no matter who I ask, I still end up in the wrong spot.

The poor blonde couldn't help but be overwhelmed, slumping on top of her own luggage on the ground. Virgo was only a young florist girl from a village in the Earth kingdom. So to suddenly receive a letter of acceptance to a new university was surprising to say the least. Although she didn't wish to go, her mother persisted that she should, for it seemed to be a once in a lifetime chance.

Now here she was, watching people walk by as she sat on a bag. She didn't care as much, since no passerby spared her an odd look, that was until she was suddenly called upon.

"Excuse me."

The petite blonde flinched, immediately standing up and turning to the voice's source. Catching her attention was a beautiful young lady, standing a full head taller than her. As she scanned her up and down, she noticed that she wore heels, though they were very low, making her height still impressive. The more she examined the woman the more she recognized her clothing style.

She wore a more business like attire, with a white blouse, tucked in with a black pencil skirt and black stockings. She wore knee high black boots that were almost flat to the ground, and a black ribbon tied around her neck. She seemed to wear the clothes of what the rich people wore in the Earth kingdom, and with the long, straight black hair and unique purple eyes, she was stunning.

"Ah," Virgo blushed once she realized how long she stared, "I'm sorry. W- Were you talking to me?"

"Yes, I was actually," the black haired woman answered, seemingly unbothered, "Are you new here?"

"Huh?- I mean, um... Yes!"

"Good." The woman sighed and began to look through her purse. As she did, Virgo glanced down once, and noticed a suitcase right next to her.

She cleared her through and asked with nervousness, "Oh, uh... Are you new here too?"

Without looking at her, the woman replied, "I am. The name is Capricorn, I come from the Earth kingdom."

"I see... I'm Virgo, and I also come from the Earth kingdom."

When Virgo said that, Capricorn looked away from her purse for a brief moment, her violet eyes scanning the smaller girl up and down before she turns back to rummaging her purse. "Then that makes a lot of sense."

Virgo blinked, "I'm sorry?"

"Your dress. It doesn't look as fancy or as... How to say... Over the top as these air citizens. Not that it's a bad thing, your dress is simple. Simple but cute."

Virgo looked out to the crowd. She already knew Capricorn was right. The air citizens around her seemed to be clothed in some, royal like accessories with large fur coats, a few dressed in feather skirts that present them like birds and soft plushy like materials that resemble clouds. The fashion in the fire kingdom is possibly as flashy, compared to Earth where they preferred simplicity with their accessories being plants and such.

"And here," Capricorn continued, "Did you receive this envelope?"

Virgo returned her attention and seeing the piece of paper in hand, she nods. "Yes, I have it too! The invitation to Celestial University, yes?" A bit of joy sparked in the blonde, looking at the older one with sparkling eyes.

"Yeah... Since you're going to the same place, should we look for it together? It's better to be lost with someone than being alone."

She couldn't agree more. However, she still couldn't help but feel a little nervous yet again. If Capricorn were to solely rely on her for directions, she'd most likely be making a fool of herself. Her sense of directions were never good to begin with, so she was quite afraid that she might just end up leading them both in a circle on a constant loop.

Luckily for her, someone just so happened to overhear and know exactly where to go. "A smell a little bit of trouble coming over from this area~" A young feminine voice sang out.

Popping out of who knows where was a young looking teen in a ruffled blouse and what looked like a blazer over it. They had a pair of dark shorts on, long, knee length socks and black, shiney dress shoes. With the short, silver hair and sharp icy blue eyes, they looked to be a young boy.

However, when they spoke, many people would have their doubts, but they would never get the right answer. "Hello, ladies~" They greeted with a smile, causing the two girls to step back. Although this person was much shorter than them, somehow their presence felt much larger than their actual height.

"Who are you?" Capricorn asked, her voice harsher than the tone she used with Virgo.

"The name is Pisces." The person grinned, lending out a hand for a handshake. Capricorn only eyed it, but Virgo accepts for it felt it may be too rude to ignore. "I hear the both of you have letters from Celestial University? You two do look much like new comers."

"Yes," Virgo confirmed, "Are you... An Air civilian?"

"Oh, no no! I hail from the Water kingdom!"

The brunette arched a brow, "Water kingdom? You surely look like a local, here..."

"So I've been told many times~" Pisces giggled, taking out a flower that both girls had on their letter. They held it between two fingers right before the girls, before they flicked their wrist and suddenly, and envelope was in hand. The very same envelope they had.

Capricorn grabbed Virgo instinctively, caught by surprise by the trick Pisces just pulled. She asked, "What was that?"

Pisces only grinned, "A little magic trick! Impressive, hmm? Well I just wanted to let you ladies know that I too, was invited to such... An honoured school. Since you two seem a little lost, I thought I may as well help you lovelies find your way."

Capricorn still seemed a little skeptical, but Virgo appeared more than happy at the news. "So you know where the university is?"

"Of course! In fact, I was the first to arrive. It was quite boring actually, so I came out here to explore, and lo and behold, I find you two!"

Virgo looked up at Capricorn, who didn't look back and continued to stare Pisces down. "I guess we're lucky?"

"I doubt. I don't like that trick they pulled."

"Be a buzzkill if you'd like," Pisces waved their hand at Capricorn, rather dismissively, "But if you genuinely wish to get to the University, I suggest you follow. Thank me, later~" Pisces smiled at them, before they turned their back and began to hop along.

Capricorn couldn't help but glare a little, feeling rather insulted by their behavior. Virgo could only look on in confusion, finding this Pisces person quite... The odd ball. Though, she felt she couldn't waste any more time. She glanced at taller woman one more time, before she followed after Pisces, with Capricorn finally following as well after a bit of hesitation.

༺ Author's Note ༻
Hello little stars, the Aquarii here~ This chapter may be a bit boring, and I do hope more action will kick up in the next few Celestial University chapters.

Celestial University is basically just the intro of all the signs, and since 12 is a large cast, it will take a while to properly introduce all of them. If your sign is not here, I do apologize for that, but I do feel that the next chapter will soon introduce at least four or five more signs.

I'm also putting art of them in almost every chapter, so I hope you guys like and enjoy that, and if you'd like to check out more art, you can check
Aquariistar or Aquariistarchild on Instagram.

Thank you for reading!
