Yuu sighed as they cleaned up the attic of their grandfather. They inherited this attic from them through a will as their grandfather died a few weeks back. Nothing truly stood out but they found odd trinkets and amazing vintage games, pieces of jewelry, glass figurines, and books of anything and everything.

They idly hummed as they opened another box to only blink. Various colored glass balls were in the box. Carefully, feeling they were extremely fragile, they looked at the lilac glass ball in their hands. A symbol of a tentacle was seen reaching out inside an outline of a coffin. With a single name at the bottom.

"Azul Ashengrotto...?"

Lightly rubbing the ball clean they put it back down gently on a cushion as they grabbed more out of the box. The next one was a reddish-orange glass ball with a single heart card in the same coffin with one name under it.

"Ace Trapolla."

Next was a red glass ball with a cobra rearing itself while looking menacing in a way in the coffin.

"Jamil Viper."

The more they continued the more they found. Until one more remained. It was a dazzling green glass ball with a dragon rearing its head in the coffin. It was beautiful to look at as if compelled to stare for eternity into its lovely eye. Yuu lightly rubbed the glass as they whispered the name at the bottom.

"Malleus Draconia..."

Oddly enough, the glass seemed to warm in their hands. Then, the glass fell to the floor. They immediately reacted as they tried to reach it but it was as if their very senses were muffled.

Once it touched the ground, it shattered.

And the world went silent.
