Error sighed as he drove in his 2019 Lincoln Navigator. He couldn't pick up his child due to work having a last-minute call which made him want to literally murder someone. His time with his child was precious so the fact that someone was coming between him and his little terror is utter rage-inducing.

A few years back he met this human woman at the park. The only reason he saw the woman was her looking around frantically. Now, Error usually doesn't bother others, especially humans due to bigots, but he was feeling kind enough to help. Imagine his surprise that she lost her daughter by complete accident. That is usually a red flag but Error could feel the woman was drowning in guilt and horror. So, the child likely walked off by accident.

So, he helped her find the young one. They both found her sitting next to some geese as baby ducklings rested on her.

It was quite troublesome trying to get her as the geese guard her furiously.

Luckily, they manage to get her back but they never went near those geese again due to them trying to keep her near them.

The woman introduced herself as Alexia Serpent Star, or as she called herself, ASS.

Error admitted he snorted slightly at the fact her initials literally spelled that.

Her daughter was called Kalani Rose Star. She was quite the curious child as she liked to stare at him with wonder and awe, not an ounce of fear in her emotions.

They chatted for awhile as Error found himself enjoying it. Normally, he hated social interaction but these two humans made him feel welcomed. So, one talk turned into another, then became monthly, weekly, daily, and then Error found himself marrying the other in a local chapel. It was utter bliss as he found love in those two. He adored Kalani as if she was his own, of which she was as they had a parent-child bond to prove it.

But Alexia died due to cancer.

That broke something in Error but he ignored it as best as he could as he had his daughter still in his life. So, three years passed as Kalani grew into a happy and wonderful ten-year-old. Error worked at a well-paying job along with earning enough for his little terror.

He gave a tired smile as he rode down the street to see his home with his little terror in the driveway.

Along with another skeleton that had features that were spelling trouble.

Error quickly parked as he got out to feel his little terror hug him tightly. Chuckling, he picked her up as he nuzzled her happily to her utter laughter.

"Papa!!!! I summoned a demon!!!!"

Blinking, he looked at the ground where the other was to see the makings of what looked to be a pentagram. It was drawn crudely but it was done enough to look like it. Some toys lay around in a circle, some burnt or even destroyed.

The demon was silent as they looked utterly confused at what just happened.

"How did you do that, my little terror?"

"That's the thing, papa...I have no clue myself!!!!"

Kalani smiled brightly as she hugged her father happily as Error sighed with a tired smile. Error walked over to the demon as the other seemed to snap slightly out of his daze.

"Would you like some food and drinks? Sorry for my little terror's summoning. It was completely accidental. I'm Error and this is Kalani, what's your name?"

The demon was quiet for the moment then spoke with a gentle grin.

"Sure, I would like some food and drinks. And please, call me Shattered."
