Prompt- you get home and find a demon crying in the middle of your living room, crying incoherently while petting your cat. It's only after a long and very confusing assignment that you find that the demon had some teeth removed (as seen from the bandages around their jaw) and somehow transported the self into your home in it's, very loopy state.

Let's go!

Sam got out of her car tiredly seeing that none of the other two were home yet, not surprising but she really needed some cuddles right about now, the lecture went on for longer than she had expected and really needed a break before a massive essay was needed to be written. Guess she'll have to wait.

Sam got her leather satchel out of the back pocketing her phone in her back pocket and finding the door key, getting to the front door she heard noises inside, was it a person speaking? She tried the door but it was locked she carefully unlocked the door and quietly crept inside not taking her shoes off at the door just incase she needed to run, but stepping into the living room all of her expectations didn't meet the standards that she was seeing.

A demon is currently sitting on the coffee table petting mittens while sobbing, like her partner Robyn did while watching UP or Coco, to be fairly honest Sam thought it was adorable and mittens seemed perfectly content with this stranger petting them, i guess cats really are not that different from Satan's hench-people, she tiptoed into their bedroom and dialled cassidy's number hoping to find an explanation, but after talking for five minutes and Cassidy not believing her she gave up and asked Robyn the Same thing, nothing.

She decided since mittens was keeping them company and they really were doing nothing wrong but petting the cat, she can keep an eye on them until the others get home and can discuss what they can do, three hours of essay writing and only being half way done, the demon had moved off of the coffee table to the kitchen table where mittens had followed and they sat with Sam as she typed everything from her notes for the last few days at lectures.

Mittens had gone to chilling on Sam's shoulders sleeping contently tail twitching as the the demon watched with a weird silence.

Sam stopped typing and looked at the demon with interest, they had a slightly swollen jaw and what looked to be gauze in their mouth from when she had seen them open their mouth to babble something possibly a curse or a threat in tongues or whatever language they spoke there was a loose bandage around the jaw also, so Sam guessed that they had a tooth or something taken out.

Thinking about this entire situation is unbelievable but its something she won't pass up as long as this drugged up over emotional demon stays timid and doesn't kill and, or curse her for all eternity to have mittens on her shoulders. she takes a big breath and sighs moving her shoulders waking mittens who purrs and bunts sam's cheek affectionately, the demon whines its reddish green eyes welling up with tears and it begins crying again.

Sam and mittens are frozen as they glance from the demon to the other in some sort of strange mental exchange they jump off Sam's shoulders and begins comforting the emotional demon once again.

The Cassidy and Robyn really were not expecting to see the two at the dining table eating warm soup when they got home.
