Go to the Pinterest search bar. (You can also use Tumblr, Instagram, DeviantArt, whatever you want) Look up your favorite color followed by "aesthetic". Scroll through and save all the pictures you like. Try not to think about a story while picking photos, just save the ones that jump out at you. Then write a story based on those pictures. Interpret that sentence however you want. You can use the actual subject of the pictures, the general vibe of the pictures, anything at all. I think this would be a really good prompt for poetry.

So these are the pictures I picked. I ended up with a really dreamy kind of vibe. I think of dancing in a field of wildflowers at twilight and just generally enjoying the simple things in life.

I'm absolutely garbage when it comes to poetry, but I'm gonna give it a shot because I don't really know what kind of story I'd write for these. This is going to be very on the nose and very cheesy, but I wanted to try.

Do you remember when we were younger
And we had a picnic in that field?
It felt like the world stopped spinning
It felt like time stood still.

There were butterflies fluttering
And wildflowers waving with the wind's guidance.
The moon and sun both looked down
On their children who danced to nature's silence.

Well, I went back to that field today.
Just watched as the morning became.
The butterflies were still fluttering
and the wildflowers waved just the same.

The moon and sun looked no different.
Silent melodies still whispered their song
But there was no longer any dancing
And one of the children is now long gone.
