Puzzle part 2(advanced)
In my previous chapter, I talked about puzzles. Now I am going to share a more advanced technique: Combinations and divided piece puzzles.
First, the combination puzzle. It is generally a mix of puzzles. Usually up to three. Here is my example:
I enjoy making this chapter and puzzles
Like this and the previous chapter
Puzzles, I like them.
Okay. This a combination of two: First word, and highlighted. The two messages are: I enjoy making the previous chapter, I like puzzles. Which is simple enough. I advise anyone that mixing too many will cause the messages to be lost. Instead limit the puzzles and space them out. It helps the reader to check the individual puzzles, one at a time. And it leads up to the next kind.
Divided piece puzzles are a more tricky puzzle. They require the pieces to be split up. I am currently doing it in my romance story. Why? Well, I wanted to hint where the story is going to be headed without giving too much.
The best way is to Italicized each piece of the message when no italics used in anything else. Similar is said when using bold instead.
When making this puzzle, DO NOT MIX IT WITH OTHER PUZZLES. It is a "standalone" puzzle. Meaning, it only works by itself. I suggest using divided piece puzzle as an only puzzle in the story at best. But it added an obvious second puzzle then please separate the two when you can.
One idea is to dedicate the second puzzle to only one chapter. Another is to limit it to one paragraph.
Anyways, these are my two more advanced puzzle ideas. Enjoy.
