Neil D'Silva primarily writes horror and is published with houses such as Penguin Random House, Rupa Publications, and Hachette. He has been ranked among the top 7 horror authors in India by UK's desiBLITZ magazine: https://www.desiblitz.com/content/top-7-indian-horror-authors

Three of his books are in the process of being adapted for screen on various platforms, most notably his co-authored book Haunted, which has been optioned for a webseries by Juggernaut Productions of the IN10 Media Network. He is the founder and festival-director of Mumbai's interschool litfest, Litventure, and mentors aspiring writers on his 21K-member-strong Facebook community, For Writers By Authors. He has conducted workshops on writing at several places, notably a six-hour lecture course at IIT Kanpur on writing, and has also spoken on a TEDx stage on the topic The Art of Writing a Bestseller. He hails from Mumbai and pursues writing as his full-time vocation.
