Chapter Twenty-Seven: Williamhayes3
Chapter 27
(Stella's POV)
"Right." I said. "I'll go save him."
"Wait," Briar said, "you? You don't honestly expect to go alone, do you? Galvano, Shay and Stalwart will kill you before you even got close."
"I need to go; after all, I was the one that got him in this situation. If I had come to him the first time he contacted me in the human world, he wouldn't be a werewolf now."
"Please don't go alone." Covie said.
"I need to save Leo."
"Well, at the very least, let us come with you."
"No." I took a deep breath. I don't want to tell them this, but I have to. So they don't die in the fight to follow. "Look, I didn't want to say this and worry you guys, but mom said that Leo and I were destined to die facing Galvano. This might be the time that we defeat him."
"Die?! No, no, no! That can't happen."
"It's destined Covie. I'm sorry, but I need to go; I need to save Leo."
"Why, so you can get him killed? I refuse to let you go."
"You can't stop destiny."
"It's never set in stone." Tears filled Covie's blue eyes. I could see the fear and hurt and betrayal in her eyes. It was killing me that this had to happen, that she had to go through this pain and I could do nothing to stop it without keeping my own, but this is something I have to do.
"At the very least..." Aquilo started, "let someone come with you."
"I'll go." Amara said.
"No." I spoke up, "Who will protect the others? They don't know how to channel their powers. You need to train them."
"But what about you? You have that sword and as much power as it has, if you can't control it, the power will kill you. Plus, the more people you have with you, the longer you can prolong the final battle until Stelliana is free."
I hardened. "I need to do this. I know we need to free mom, but we also need to save Leo and if we all charge in there, you might die and I'd never be able to forgive myself. I'm glad to have known you all and you've all been such a big help to me, but this is where we part ways. Goodbye." I was absorbed in a tornado of green light and vanished, reappearing in Glavano's throne room. He was sitting there with a smirk, almost as if he was waiting for me.
"And there is she-the lady of the hour." Galvano got off his throne and started for me. "Come to save your brother?"
"Right. Now where is he?"
"He's gone, Stella. I thought my fellow king made that clear."
"Well, I did inherit my mother's stubborn nature, so you may have to beat it into me."
His eyes lit up with joy at that prospect. "Now you're speaking my language."
"Brother. Now."
"No, I'd much rather you die first... unless you join me. There's no need in shedding blood when it could all just be over in an instant. You can be reunited with your family and I wouldn't have to end a life with such wonderful potential in the dark mystical arts. Come with me. Join the dark side." I didn't answer, rather blew lightly. He was thrown back by a large gust of wind and knocked into the throne's side. One of the torches broke off and I looked at it. The flame flew to me, crawling its way up the sword. I got in a fighting position. "I'll take that as a no." The Aurogan king said. "No matter. I didn't expect you to join me anyway, so that's why I had to snatch a little ally. Shay! Bring out your weapon."
Shay arrived and in her hand, an orb-Leo's orb. "My brother's orb! How'd you get that?"
"How do you think he lost his humanity?" Shay responded, her lips shaped in a sneer. Her violet eyes glowed a sickening brown and the earth below me sunk. It enveloped almost all of me, sparing my head. I screamed out in agony and looked up, helpless as Shay strut forward. "I had to steal the orb. It was the only thing that kept the werewolf in and father so desperately needed it."
"Father?! This sick monarch is your father?"
"Well, of course sister."
"We are not sisters!"
"Yes we are. How else do you think I can use the orb? After all, Stelliana only bonded it to us."
"If you're my sister, why are you with him? Why not join your family and stop him?"
"He is family." She then added, "Plus, it's so good being bad."
"Finally, death will come." Galvano said, wringing his hands as his eyes flared with excitement.
"Actually, can we not kill her now?" My half sister spoke. "I want to have a little fun with her."
"Anything for you, sweetie, but she dies tomorrow at sunrise, so make you get all your kicks in tonight."
"Gladly." Shay turned around and began exiting the throne room. I felt something compel me to follow, almost as if she had chained me to her with the same dark energy her father did while on earth. The ground instantly turned to sand and I was being dragged through, sand filling every open section of my outfit. We exited the throne room and eventually, came upon a cell. I heard snarling and could see Leo. He was chained to the corner and tried to lung at me, but the chain around his neck kept him in place. The cell bars were made of shadows, which instantly vanished. Shay entered and I reluctantly followed. The bars reappeared, trapping us in the jailhouse.
"Why do this? Don't you see that his plan is insidious and purely based on revenge? He could care less about you and this world."
"Exactly." I was confused.
"Wait, what? If you know what he's about, then why are you working with him?"
"The answer's simple dear-I'm not. I was sent by Stelliana."
"Don't you mean mom?"
"Nope." She instantly turned into a familiar figure.
"Tracey?"

(Amara's POV)
Everyone was pacing, Coventina muttering swears under her breath. "This is bad. We can't get to Stella or Leo. She's blocking us from teleporting. How are we going to save her? Mom? The world?" I looked up, my eyes instantly switching from human to cat. That's impossible. I thought. It can't be...
"What is it, Amara?" Glacia asked.
"I-I'm sensing something. It's powerful, Godlike."
"Could it be your God?"
"I'm feeling her signature." I then explained. "All of the Gods have their own special signature. Something used to distinguish them. Whenever Lady Wind was near, I'd always feel a pulse and my eyes would change. And I'm feeling her signature now, although I don't really know why."
"Isn't it possible that she just returned?" Acorus asked.
"Yes, but why after so long? And where is she?"
"Anything we can do to help you find her?"
"No. Sorcerers and Sorceresses as strong as you are can't sense a God's signature. It's practically invisible to you, unless you've been chosen by a God to be a champion. I'm going to have to find her."
"We're coming with." Coventina said instantly. "We need to come with you. We already let Stella and Leo get away, but we're not letting you do it too."
I saw the fire in the girl's eyes and sighed. "Come on." We exited the protection shield and began walking towards Lady Wind. Don't worry. I'm coming.

(Lady Wind's POV)
"Tracey?" Stella asked.
"I'm not Tracey; it's just an alias. My real name is Lady Wind and I, along with the other Elemental Gods, control the forces of the earth... well, we used to." I explained. "There was a slight falling out years ago between us and the Cosmics, the beings that rule over us and effectively, the whole of the universe. Lord Fire refused to conform to their rules and he got struck down. Before he died, he gave me his essence and with that, his powers. The other two Elemental Gods, Queen Water and King Earth, had been struck down and transferred their essences to me. I assured the Cosmics that I'd do whatever they said so long as they let me live, but they said 'The Gods are no longer in a position to rule', so I took off with the champions that didn't die trying to fight."
"How'd you get to earth? To me? And how'd you know my mother and...?"
"All will be explained. Anyway, I had some of my champions with me and after we had gotten far enough away, I had to ensure they were safe, so I wiped their memories. All except..."
"Amara!" The piece fit. "She said she used to be a champion under you."
"As well as your mother. Both were champions and I trusted them more than anything. I helped your mother stop the war between the Mutii and the sorcerers by giving her 8 sacred objects with Godly abilities, as well as a few weapons that, while powerful in their own, couldn't hold a candle to the power they possessed when with the orbs."
"And where do I fit into this equation?"
"There were eight weapons and each weapon was connected to a certain orb. The sword can be used by Leo or Coventina or Glacia or any of the others, but it has the most power when it's with you and your orb. Both will have to be in use for you to stand a chance against Galvano."
"But how'd you get to earth and become my best friend?"
"Right. There was a ton of bad blood between your mother and Galvano, who she was somewhat involved with at the time. Before the Mutii-Sorcerer war, she and your father had a bit of an argument and she ultimately went to Galvano for solstice since they've been friends since the age of 3. They slept together, although she didn't give birth. While she was there, she discovered Galvano's plan and started to leave, but ran into Galvano's 6 year old daughter..."
"Shay!"
"Yes, Shayyden. However, this wasn't the end. She cast a sleep spell to escape and kidnapped the girl. She took her to me and performed a blood transfusion; she mixed her blood with Shayyden's. It was risky because it gave her more power, but Stelliana's blood is purifying; it rids all evil influence. Now onto your part in this jumbled mess. You and Leo were born not too long after this incident and your mother was being targeted by Galvano's forces because she had cut off ties with him and, well, stole his daughter. She didn't want you to get hurt, so she split you and your family up."
"But the prophecy..." Stella started. "The prophecy called for 7 children to save my mom, not 8."
"Coventina's not your real sister, remember that. Now, Galvano's plan to take over the world was already in motion. He had the troops gathered and he started to do it by trying to convince the sorcerers to destroy the Mutii, but your mother stopped that plan from coming into fruition and Galvano wanted to destroy her and your family because you were in his way. She was able to hide the others, but before she could find a place for you and Leo to stay, Galvano appeared. She called upon me and I took you two with me to Earth, where I knew you'd be safe. A Cosmic attacked me on the way, so that's how you two got separated. I wanted to make sure you were safe, so I had to watch you and watch you, I did."
"So how come Shay doesn't know what her powers are?"
"I had to lock them away. Her powers are far darker than anyone could've ever imagined. If those were to be released, then I think that Galvano would finally have what he needs to dominate. That's about the sum of it. Any other questions, just ask me, but now, let's reawaken Leo's human half and rescue Stelliana. I'll grab the others."
"Shay too! You said that my mom's blood purified their evil in her. I get that her powers may be able to reawaken it, but we're going to need her help to stop Galvano. And after we save mom, that's what we'll do. Now, how do I cancel the curse?"
"You must merge your sword and orb into one and use it to defeat the werewolf in Leo for good. It'll take a ton of power, power that you and your orb have. The instant you defeat the wolf, he'll no longer have anything to worry about."
"Right." Stella took her orb out of her pocket and it was glowing brilliantly. She threw the magical sphere at the sword's blade. It wrapped around and was now green. She picked up the weapon and I smiled. She's awakened the power. Stelliana would be so proud.

(Stella's POV)
I looked at Obelia, who phased through the wall and started for me. Her wavy brown hair was down and she had on a golden breast plate. Her multi-colored eyes were looking at me in trepidation, but I could tell she was ready. "You know what we need to do, right?"
"Next stop, Leo's subconscious."
"Wait!" I heard Tracey-sorry Lady Wind-say. "You might need this." She threw Leo's orb at Obelia and she grabbed it. "After you awaken Leo's human half, tell him this. I'll explain it to the others and get them to summon their weapons. Make sure Leo summons his before he leaves the dream-state. It's imperative that you do; it'll help you two connect with your mother. And good luck."
"Thank you Lady Wind." I turned to my orb's human form. "Come on." Obelia grabbed the sword and we vanished in a green flash of light.
...
We appeared in a flash of light. It was like we were in space, but I had no fear of falling through the stars. "Where's Leo?"
"Right here, sis." I heard his voice say weakly. He appeared miles away and I started for him. "Leo!" Suddenly, something cut me off. It had monstrous, gleaming red eyes, shaggy black fur everywhere.
"Where are you going, witch?"
"I'm a sorceress! And I'm going to save my brother." I slashed the sword at him and he didn't even react. The blade cracked against his skin before crumbling away.
"Um Stella...!" Obelia's panicked voice said.
"Obe!" I yelled.
"Help!" She vanished. Obelia! Oh my god! What am I going to do now?
Hey, I'm Williamhayes3, a.k.a. Jamel. I'm 15 and I've written a ton of books, but I have 4 that I'm particularly proud of... the first of which is finished! There's Dreamer, which is the first book in a franchise (the Dreamless Series) that I'm trying to get copywritten and after that published. Then there's a story called Fateful, which is about a girl named Moira that is a Fateful, a being that can control fate, and now she's tasked with stopping an apocalypse, which is going to happen in less than 24 hours! There's also The Devil's Daughter, about Angel Salem, Satan's daughter, and her trying to not be like her father, but things get more complicated when someone very special to Satan comes along. Finally, there's Fairytale. It's about Jordyn Mallan, Maleficent's daughter, who gets trapped in the human world with a teenage Aurora and Maleficent's pet bird/friend, Diaval. I'm basing it off of the movie starring Angelina Jolie, Maleficent. If you haven't seen that movie, check it out! It's awesome and I doubt you'll be disappointed. I was told that it was kinda like Once Upon a Time, but I assure you, I didn't start watching the show until I had already started writing. I already have a couple chapters done for the other three, and I'm working on the latest, so eventually those'll be up. So yeah, that's about it-well, aside from a gigantic thanks to the other writers, who have made this story so amazing, as well as MLB998. Check out the stories if you want, they're better than this chapter (I hope! Maybe you guys could help me find that out.) If you want anything, don't be afraid to PM me. See ya!
