Contrariwise | Part 1 |
His nose poked into the sunlight, then vanished, only to poke out once again, and then for his white head to follow after, only to get tossed out by the two Pup's behind him. With much flaws he squirms to his paws, leaving the brown dust and green sticks, - didn't Mum call it dirt and, gr-grass, was it? Although, as his body sat and he noticed the dirt standing out upon his fur, his Tibetan Sand Fox sister threw herself upon him. Sucking in his own breath as his sister chattered above his fallen form.
Still quite winded, his head hung as the Albino Tibetan Fox shoved himself to his own, wobbly, stance. Taking a deep breath, allowing the fox's ears to perk up and to gain his full blindings. Welcomed to the Sister shoving her brown face into his own, her small tail flicking and her eyes swirling with the joy of the sunlight gleaming off the drops of water on the clean green grass below them.
But, the Pup wasn't in the mood, even with the sun above head his back still gleaned of coldness and much dirt and grass stuck to him. If anything, he wanted to go back to the den and allow Mum to lick all the water, dirt, and grass off his fur. Neither of them would wanna be cold, and the den was warm, warmer than the sun shining on them.
Unamused, he flicks his own tail, and turned from his sister aiming for the den sheltered by the brush. Watching as another head pokes out, the look also of eagerness, before pounding outside the den. The the Albino was suddenly glad he left, all the water on him was sticky, and he didn't like the feeling of it. But would his Mother even be awake, and in part, lick the items of the world off him?
Mother? His head poked back into the den, the shift in temperature the most noticed, and his Mother the least as she curled in the back of the den. And happened to be just the same as she did notable minutes ago. He pondered up to her, only to start sniffing in her face. Mother?
With a long held breath, her brown, - tired, - eyes groggily opened, and for her teeth to follow it suit. The Albino Pup scurried back, only tripping over his own paws even though he could see perfectly. Then, then it felt much swelling in his stomach, unconsciously curling into himself and the shake in his paws to not go unfelt. The Mother Tibetan Fox only continued to growl, before absurdly tossing herself to her grey legs, twirling and her head blaring around the den.
Pups? Pups! Pups!?
The Albino Pup simply took another shaken foot back, only watching Mother's eyes as the cold brown made contact with the lighter pink, only then had the growl come back. The Pup couldn't help his own fear, expelling a noise that could only be seen as a whimper as his mother was shaded in the darkness by the light coming behind her, as well as two rowdy Pup's cheering as they played outside the den. His skin felt tainted as his Mother dashed away, he felt dirty, bad, he'd been a bad Pup, he old felt this way when Mother did that. She said it was felt whem some fox did something bad.
He was bad for waking his Mother up, for causing her panic. The shaking paws seemed to fail as soon as his weight hit the bottom of the dirt cleared den. He shouldn't upset Mother!
The weight of pain on his heart hurt, he couldn't believe he did this again! Even with the Sun much high in the sky and the red and purple flowers blooming all around, not even stuck inside the warming comfort of the den. And he still hurt his Mother, and no doubt did his Father not happen to like him either! The White Pup stopped hearing himself from above, the white paws covering the black nose and the tail down as much as possibility could allow. Maybe if he was good and quiet Mother could forget, she didn't need to remember his words!
Only moments later did two whining pups tumble, - paws over head, - down into the den, both covered in brown wet muck. The Albino Pup almost lost sight of his Brother and Sister, his ears flicked, what? Did they just disappear? But this has never happened, even with their already brown fur. Only if the Fox Pup hadn't noticed Mother trot in, with another shadow behind her.
And the small, pitiful, Albino Pup jumped to his paws. Father!
Then he remembered the dirt and grass sticking to his fur, he hadn't gotten to ask her about possibly licking it off, - it was probably a no, - yet not that it mattered, he didn't doubt Father, - with a Rabbit in jaws, - wouldn't help get the green grass off the white fur. Although, he would have to wait his own turn, watching as the Brother and Sister both scrambled over to Father before he'd even managed to take his very own step.
Looking to his Mother and flicking his ears to his Father, looking to the Rabbit being jumped at by the two Pup's, each jaws snapping and bodies filled with an impulse to continue dashing and playing around, both each failing to get there own paws upon the body. As Mother curled up to the side, between the Albino Pup and the carcass, Father let the Rabbit fall from his mouth. Immediately did the two Pup's attempt to start getting to the meat, and the Pup much farther away had to scramble over Mother's tail.
At the time he didn't think of it, but once Mother had shot up and snarled at the Albino Pup, causing him a deep lost of balance and a tumble to the ground. With Mother breathing above him, he completely froze. He wouldn't dare to move, not with the bare teeth above him and the instinct in his veins.
All he could hear was the deep, anger, remose, pain and more anger filled growl above him. Everything else had slipped into silence allowing the rattle of leaves and the gush of wind to be heard. Slowly, his Father padded up to him, and much slower, took him by the back of the white scruff, allowing neither to break eye contact with the furious fox sitting in front of them. Even once his Father sat him next to his Brother and Sister, he didn't dare to move, only once Mother looked away and the calm breathing escaping her chest did he even take to the food.
Although he moved with caution, he started chewing at the already ripped off skin of the brown rabbit. And with one quick tug, the albino Pup ripped a small piece of the meat from the Rabbit, to only go tumbling over himself, yet leabing the meat to remain in his jaws. Not minding that he'd tumbled near his Mother, or now some blood lightly littered the dirt filled white hair, he nawed on the meat, residing in the small achievement. Well, until his Father brought him closer to the carcass, allowing for the piece of meat to slip from the Pup's jaws.
The Albino Pup only allowed his response to be a small whine, with his eyes trying to find where it would've landed. But he wouldn't complain, not when his Mother happened to be in this mood. And he didn't want to upset his Father either, honestly, he didn't want to upset his Father. Father of whom left him in front of a piece of meat to fill the Albino Pup to the brim.
The Pup could almost be diving into his food, biting onto it then shaking his head in best efforts to tear a piece off. Which left him to stumble near everywhere, leaving him unable to tear a fraction of the meat apart. Biting down once more, and discovering an idea, and the lights to gleam in his eyes. Shoving his white paws into the ground and allowing the body to become stiff, he yanked backwards, - both teeth and eyes blaring, - and, well, the entirety of the meat landed upon the small Albino body.
And with hearing his Father's breath, the meat was pulled off his body, but not without leaving red splashes along his body. If the Pup where to say, it felt much like rain, except it was thicker and there was a lesser amount of the water that soaked his fur. Although, looking to his Father, the only thing he noticed was the meat Father happened to be chewing.
Quickly, he scrambled over to his Father, but he left bewilderment in his wake as his paws caught each other, causing the Albino Pup to hit his Father's jaw. He caught a small movement of his Father, and immediately did he freeze, leaving deep caution as his eyes meant Father's, but the Fox was focused on the meat and didn't take effort to The Pup's glance. Throwing his head back and forth, The Pup's ears flattened, looking to hid Father of whom didn't seem to bide any interest to the Albino Pup.
Father lifted his head, looming over the Pup next to him, the Pup of whom only grew closer as the passing seconds went on. And his head lowered, and the Pup lied still, not even allowigu his own eyes to move. Only once his Father licked him upon his dotted red head, did he realize that his Father was cleaning him up of everything that's become lathered in his fur. Only then did the Pup seem to let the tension leave his body.
Although, the Pup still did lick his Father's face in a simple return of thanks.
[ Yes, I'm aware some people don't address fox babies as, "Pups," but they can also be called, "Kits," for how this turned out I preferred to call them Pups. But they are Tibetan Sand Foxes, whcih is what they all look like according to their looks and colors, although for the colors the Albino Pup stands out.
{ Psst, you can skip this and go to where I explain the parts for this, this part just goes into a past of how I created a character of which created this character. This fox goes along with a lore I've built up for one of my characters, Lava. Truthfully, she was originally a Role Play character, and was my first ever OC, so 'course she happened to be a Mary Sue. But as I realized that, I knew I didn't want to change her, atleast much. I didn't want to strip her of her powers or her character design.
And with the such, I made her, basically, a powerful being, not a god, I'll never address her as one. She was a being created in space, born to Destroy Life, and create life. It's my way of looking into the outside world of space, and imagining how everything keeps balance out there. What Lava is would be what keeps the balance of the Universe. }
The Albino Pup is meant to encompass Bad Luck, and being Albino means your more vulnerable to predators, more likely to be hunted. Yet, he may seem clumsy in this, btu he's not, it's bad luck, and if he didn't have that bad luck, he'd be normal. Which is why I've got another character that holds Good Luck, and whom is also a fox. Each of these two will have 2 chapters that go by the same name as this one, although, don't trust the dates of which I say I'll put them out.
And for these two's names, The Albino Pup is soon to be called, "Loft," and the Fox representing Good Luck is named, "Equity." I'm aware, they're not the best names, but Loft's name is specifically meant to seem odd then Equity's nickanme is Quilt, meant to represent something graceful. )
