A/N: There might be some confusion with the gem rankings, so I'll clarify, I am doing the ranking by durability.

(10 being highly valued and 5 being least valuable, colors vary on the person)

Diamond=10, Ruby=9, Sapphire=9, Topaz=8, Emerald=8, Aquamarine=8, Tourmaline=7, Amethyst=7, Garnet=7, Tanzanite/Turquoise=6, Peridot=6, Pearl=6, Opal=5. People are supposed to be wearing their gemstone at all times to be able to be identified as what class they are!

**Tsundere- Tsundere is a word combining two words, "Tsun Tsun" and "Dere Dere". Both terms describe attitudes of a person. "Tsun Tsun" is used for cold/curt attitude, while "Dere Dere" is used when a person becomes lovey-dovey in front of his/her lover. In overall tsundere are very cold, curt, bossy, and mean to the people they care about. (From the Urban Dictionary I just edited it slightly and added a bit on.)

*Yandere- A person who is psychotic, violent, or both. This is a combination of the words "Yanderu" meaning to be sick, and "Dere Dere" meaning to be head-over-heels, or lovestruck. Together meaning "Lovesick". Yandere tend to show affection to the main character, or to the people they care about and can be very violent with the people who they like and people around them. They are quite possessive of people and lash out to "protect" the ones they care about.

Once in a world called Earth, there was a political war over many, many countries. During the war, America managed to suffer extreme casualties. World War 3 was spiraling out of control, and to sniff out the spies and immigrants the rest of the people who were still alive were gathered in one place and were ranked by their birthstones.

Among the classes, two girls who were best friends walked hand in hand.

They were both 16 years old. One significantly shorter than the other. The girl on the right had short hair to match her short appearance the girl to the left of her was the taller one out of the two.

The left girl's hair was a lighter color, a light dirty-blonde the tips of her hair had faded pink. The right girl's hair was a chocolate brown that went down to the middle of her neck, her bangs swept to cover her right eye, and streaks of purple could be seen in her hair.

The right girl had glasses, one of the lenses broken. Ms.Left also had glasses but hers only went to the halfway mark on her eyes.

The right wore a hoodie that had a squid tentacle design on it, that and it was a bit large on her, a pair of ripped high waisted jean shorts, knee-high converse with white tights, and a white face mask dripping with blood, she carries around a huge hammer engraved with the words "HA HA", and a Topaz dagger.

The left's clothing consisted of a bomber jacket with a camouflage tank top on under it she had a pair of beautiful turquoise flower leggings and a black trucker hat that says "ROGUE" she had a pair of ankle boots with the some of the American flag on them, she also had a black skull mask, and her weapons were a pair of pocket knives, a rose printed gun, and a Peridot dagger.(I'll put their outfits at the end of the story.).

Freckles on the right's face made her face look more childish. Lefty also had freckles, but she looked more willow-ish.

The girl on the right was a Topaz, one of the most respected gemstones in the former country of the U.S.A. The girl on the left was a Peridot because of this predicament the Topaz ran away to help the Peridot find their friends together.

The two girls stood there among the waste of their world, the right girl talked about finding their friends, who she believed was still alive, the girl on the left just sighed and started talking about shelter for the night, if there was any place to go.

The girl on the right (who we will just call Topaz) is more happy, uplifting, and wise. Topaz is also very sadistic, cruel, and violent to people who hurt others that she cares about (Like when people are bullying others, or when someone starts talking about her friends and family poorly.). Topaz does this in secret and only a few times she has actually hurt someone in front of people she knows, she can be very kind and forgiving if people are willing to change. She has a tendency to be very emotional sometimes, other times she can be very cold to anyone and everyone, which influences why she is like this and snaps. Topaz is very *yandere.

While the girl on the left (who we will just call Peridot) is more of a fighter more tight up but enjoy's really cute and pretty things like roses and cats. She never really shows it, except to her close friends and family. Peridot doesn't like fighting but if she has to she knows a lot of self-defense tricks, she is really strict and can be really cold and mean, and quite bossy to her friends. Peridot is very **tsundere.

The world around them was a tragedy. It was like an apocalypse. This was a broken world, buildings were knocked down very few stores were left. Debris was everywhere, this is what an apocalyptic travesty looks like, little to no people around. Other than the few spies and mutated creatures. There was a lot to fear in this world, gangs, the government, everything should be feared.
