While one of those random scrolling sessions through Instagram, you must have come across one of these reels:

"If you were the villain of a story, what would be the last line of that book?"
Or
"You are a detective solving an unsolved mystery from 10 years ago, the killer is someone close to you... what would be the last line of the story?"
Or
"Pause the slides and see which prompt you get, craft a story based on the paused slide."

In simple words, we are taking inspiration from those endless social media reels, and inviting you to participate in a brand new, fun contest where we will tell you how to start and end a story.

📩 We have created four slides containing various details and prompts. Participants will be given the prompts and deets on a random basis. The slides contain information on: 1. Character(s) // 2. Special conflict point // 3. Starting // 4. Ending

This is a good opportunity for you to try your hands on a new genre or a new style of writing, that too in new year!

📩 How will this work?

1. Participants are required to comment their sign-up deets in this chapter.

2. We will reach out to the participants and send them four slides.

3. Participants will start crafting their tales based on those slides.

4. After completing the tale, participants can submit their entries through Google form provided below.

📩 Guidelines:

• Duration: 1st January - 31st January

• Word-limit: 2500-3000 words (single chapter)

• To be published in an existing collection book, or standalone entry

• Participants are more than welcome to interpret the prompt in unique ways and craft a tale based on their perception.

• Mature contents are allowed as long as the entry follows Wattpad's guidelines.

• Final submissions must be done via Google Form only. Submissions done through comment section won't be considered. However, we encourage everyone to share their stories in comments and support fellow ones.

• Writers are free to turn the plot into any genre they want. There is no restriction on genre or trope.

• Judging period: 1st Feb - 13th Feb

• Results - 15th Feb
